Thanks for showing another town with Christmas lights round and it looks very busy with the cars and the crescent hotel was very nice and and the Christmas trees with lights on and it is nice to know some actors and DJ from there have a hot drink and walk round
I love the night time filming! With all the lights, the buildings just seem to be high lighted and are so pretty. By all means Neil...please do more filming at night.
They do chargeable USB (battery wise) heated jackets on Amazon etc some market traders wear them. You just have to press a button on the jacket and hey presto 🔥 👍🏻
I've been to Buxton when my Niece lived there 22 years ago! But all I remember was a nice park This walk you did in the dark Neil was lovely. Ioved the Pavillion Cafes where you started off at & that might of been the park area I remember, I'm not sure! But all the Pavillion Arcades looks fantastic, it was obviously a spar town in the Victorian era. Your are right Neil the Victorians designed some grand & beautiful buildings. Just like The Cresent Hotel, now that looked breathtaking! I loved the old fashioned Lanterns down the Cresent Archway & the magnificence of it all lit up! I would of loved to stay in that Hotel but like you said I bet it was expensive! The town Centre looked just right not too big or to small, perfect for a day trip! And I liked the look of the Shopping Centre there & all the lovely shops. As you say in 20 or 30 years time people will be watching & looking at the fashions of the day! I like watching vlogs of my home town in yesteryears. And vlogs of the place I live now. Fantastic video Neil your new Cinematic Camera is brilliant filming in the dark the sky looks lovely & quite light in the Twilight! Really enjoyed this❣️😍 Hope you enjoyed your Beer in one of those lovely cosy Buxton Pubs!🍺
Hi Neil ( I always thought your name was Charlie). Love the new camera, what is it. Great video and natural colours, even though it’s brighter. We love Buxton and coming from Derbyshire, it’s not too far ( we love Sheffield too) great to see it at night, thanks for sharing. Tim Brooke Taylor was born there too and his relatives have a solicitors ship there not far from Pavilion! Well done ! Rgds Richard
A great walk round the lower, and more noted part of my home town of Buxton. Well filmed, Neil, you've done a great job of highlighting the lovely buildings like the Opera House, the Old Hall Hotel the Crescent etc., with your fantastic camera. You were lucky to have reasonable weather to operate in, as at one time the place could be snowed up at this time of the year. Many thanks for this video, a great job done.
Love Buxton go many times to the opera house etc although it does get very cold at winter especially .The picture quality looks fantastic to say it’s so dark well done
Than you for that, like you, I love the part of Buxton. A pity they are using white light at The Crescent Hotel though, instead of the warm glow of yellow
Thank you. Buxton looks wonderful with all the light. Having lived in NZ most of my life I have had 5 trips home to my place of birth. Many relatives still live thereabouts. I shall follow your walkabouts
I loved the video Neil. Quite magical at night and it’s brought back some lovely memories. We’ve been twice this year to go to the Opera House and stayed over. The restaurants are very good and quite a bit of investment is going on. I love the Herb Garden veggie/vegan cafe across from the park. Very yummie. Thank you for sharing 😊
Never go to Buxton without an empty bottle to fill up from the Buxton Spring ‼️ I was sorry you did not film it, you just glanced at it, next to that big tree. I have had 'the waters' many times from there. I was at the spring early in the day, around 11am and a chap came up with a fairly large cart with several very large bottles which he proceeded to fill up from the spring. I said "what are you going to do with all that?" and he looked a bit sheepish but answered "drink it". However, he was dressed as a waiter and I suspect that they fill up smaller bottles and sell them at extortionate prices at your table, hoping you, the visitors, do not know it's absolutely free, from just across the road ‼️ 😲 The Crescent is very beautiful, and the Opera House is certainly worth a visit for a show. There are some very nice quaint houses down the back streets too. Thanks for the trip - keep em coming Mr Walk ✔👍💯 🚶
Missed The Broadwalk on the other side of the Pavilion Gardens again, one of the nicest walks in Buxton! Also Burlington Road on the far side of the Pavilion Gardens is one of the better roads in Buxton. These You Tubers always seem to miss some of the best parts.
The Opera House is a lovely venue. I love Buxton.
Greetings from Matlock
Buxton looks spectacular by night, there’s so much to see. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much - I'm off to Matlock very soon too!
I live on Matlock Bank above the County Offices, I assume you’re visiting Matlock Bath
@@TheMatlockBiker Will be visiting both and filming both hopefully!

Thank you, I will
I am moving to Buxton in June / July 2023. CAN'T WAIT!

You will freeze your balls off in Winter. Trust me, I know.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane, I know Buxton very well but moved to Australia 14 years ago. Was great to see it again.

The first place i always go when in Buxton is Wetherspoons for a mega mixed grill and 2 pints of beer :)

Is it true that they have the best water in the UK?
Not sure - apparently so though!
Great video, It’s actually 1000 feet not metres above sea level
Oh crikey - apologies
No idea where I got that info from 🤣
What camera are you using
Use a few but this one is Sony FX3
@@GimbalWalkTV I have the Sony fdr ax53. And a 360 camera to
Great video, but I wouldn't have included Dave Lee Travis for obvious reasons
Oh crikey - forgot about that!
