A lot of even seasoned players forget how to make the best use of these incredible mobs. Villagers can basically provide everything you need to beat the game short of blaze rods, with piglins able to provide eyes of ender once you reach the nether. I ALWAYS settle in a village, no matter what my plans are, these dudes are a great assistant to have with you!.
I just love how it's so normal to enslave minecraft villagers, that we don't even consider what people who either don't play minecraft or are new to the game would think of that phrasing...
I can't decide if I'm more disturbed or impressed by how creative these enslavement methods are.

You can even name your anti-raid pillager Johnny and put him to use in a meat farm and have him do two jobs at once

Wanna be more moral to your villagers while keeping your trading hall?
Make a nice little apartment behind the trading hall space and have a piston open when they enter the space and they can’t get out until a daylight sensor closes it again. It’s like a one way piston door but it can be reopened by it being night time.
It'd be cool if netherite anvils never broke to simulate the strength of netherite.

I can't believe moving them is as simple as seeds. That seems so crucial when transporting them long distances to combine with things like boats and minecarts where the hardest thing is getting them into them.

I tried enslaving villagers once, but they just kept trading with me like nothing was wrong.

3:02 I am wondering if the soil speed enchantment would work if that would work you could make the entire village go fast like crazy if you cover it in soul soil/sand
If the villager has the armor enchanted that way then when walking on soul soil/sand, they would get the speed boost based on what level of enchant it is.
And the best thing is that nobody can see the armor so they're just the flash now
