That item frame trick in the beginning does not work if you try to make it into a bubble elevator. If it wasn't supposed to be a bubble elevator and instead just be swimmable water, then the item frames don't do ANYTHING, they're entities, they don't affect the way that the water moves. May as well not have them.
For a cheaper bubble elevator which still offers the same features as in the video, you can just dig one block deeper, that way the water mechanics stay in a straight line without spreading.
Um... you can send a signal upwards with the wall trick tho Also for xraying in vanilla using glitches just sit in a composter that's buried in the ground, put a piston over your head then activate it
It's more efficient. TNT can be instantly destroyed with a fist, it makes it faster and also doesn't use up any tool durability. Also you don't have to keep changing between tool and block which could easily cause a death if you're not careful
Number 5 hits home. Downloaded a "Better villages" datapack. Architecture was amazing, but there wasn't a single building that didn't have at least one barrel in the build. So naturally the fisherman-to-all-other-villager ratio was obscenely high.

The rail one is very useful. If you're making a base in a mineshaft, you don't need to use fences and you can just use the rails.
