Just used your method. I had some user error (was expected for my first time) lol but other than that my headlights look great! Your spray completely filled in the 600 grit scratches and headlight looks brand new.
@@StartRestoringHeadlights it was a 2015 Nissan Altima. They were kind of difficult lol because of the curvatures. I often think about the headlight designs on these 23’ and 24’ vehicles. I’m glad I am starting to learn now to be able to do those headlights in a few years
@@itsandrew8758 Ah nice, those have a bulb issue where they aren't too bright, so they definitely need all the oxidation removed ASAP. Yea, I've done a few scratch removals on a few newer ones before. Its a pretty big pain. Made me realize that the use of power tools on the newer vehicles will eventually be phased out since sanding those crazy designs will need to be done by hand.
Once again great job! Would anything terrible happen if you don't get all of the previous clear coat off where it wasn't damaged or coming off. Thanks
Thank you! And nothing terrible, but you would be able to see the old clear coat after applying the new one.

Awesome! Practice makes perfect, but even on the first try you can get very good results. What kind of vehicle did you do it on?
