Thank you for this Brandon, I've been trying to get my yau times below 1:25 and this has got me motivated to practise more! 6:26 interestingly, this a trick you can use of fto and it's even easier; 1) you can have the triple misoriented, and it'll only add 1 move when inserting the last triple and 2) fto has less time between the misplaced triple and inserting the last triple, compared to the time between 5x5's first 3 edges and inserting the final cross edge. Just thought it was neat how both puzzles can share a trick like this one!

Damn, amazing video. Just switched to yau recently and hoping to be consistently sub-1 soon. This video defo has a lot of important ideas, appreciate the work!
If you would like to see some example solves in the future, leave a comment! Enjoy the video!
I would love example solves!
Example solves would be really helpful!
Yes, make me faster plz
I would love to see some, too, since i started practicing 5x5 again
Little do you know in 2029 gan has the best 5x5
You were absolutely right. I love Gancubes and I love the Aochuang. It gives me just what I need from a cube.
This is definitely the cleanest video I’ve seen for yau on 5x5, good job :)
OH MY GOD I ACTUALLY REALLY NEED THIS VIDEO THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I really like this style of video, it’s very well edited an I would love to see more of these videos in the future. Maybe some 6x6 stuff?
Definitely gonna work on a 6x6 video, but I have a couple other videos I want to work on first. I'm glad you liked the video style!
@@BrandonNunez I can’t wait!

Thank you this is very helpful as I switched a couple weeks ago to yau on 5!
Thank you! I'm thinking about switching to Yau, so this really helps!
Right at the beginning you were wrong 5x5 is the best big cube
This helps a lot- I was wondering if you could go into detail abt edge yau paring on 5x5 ?
I'm planning to make example solves by the end of August where I go more in-depth and apply a lot of the concepts here to a solve.
@@BrandonNunez ohh ok !
Do you think doing first center on bottom is worth learning?
It's definitely a good skill to have. Some solves it will be good for and others not so much
Hi Java
2:30 i think Tymon is color neutral with yau
From what I've heard tymon used to be color neutral but swit he'd to dual neutral. Only what I've heard from people that talk to him

What percentages for each step should be average?
Seung hyuk nahm uses yau, and solves on white and blue, so 2/3 CN
