Love the quality! Definately gonna grow pretty fast throughout this year! I have a decent amount on this channel but I’m trynna get into cubing content on my alt. AND TONIGHT MY BROTHER THREW MY MAIN 3x3 AND BROKE IT 😭im prayin on this giveaway
from my experience, the zb method is a method that makes you better cfop, kinda like how if you do 7x7, youll get better at 6x6, which will make you better at 5x5, and so on
@tyronium2 Imo 7x7 DOES kiiiinda make you better at 6x6 but 5x5 & 4x4 centers are so different that it doesn't really apply there. I think that 8x8 and 9x9 definitely make you better at 7x7 due to the massive increase in required relative centerpiece recognition and more difficult lookahead.
really love your videos it helped me improve a lot, at my country shipping from the cubicle is pricy so the money would help me, i also have a comp in two months and it will help me a lot
Hello! I plan on buying tymons course this week and i am super excited to develop my solving. I know that this video is not really 100% in favor of zb, but i have not been improving and if i want a chance to be good on a couple years, it is inevitable to learn. Great video as always, keep up the work!
Pretty interesting concept of switching back to CFOP after using only ZB, and doing much better, maybe for now you could use OLL and PLL for the non ZBLLs until you become more comfortable with ZBLS, not very sure how to approach it as I still haven’t learned ZB
nice video, I definitely agree that zb is probably the better method but considering i haven't learned a single alg since i averaged like 18 and now i average like 9-11 on 3x3 i think cfop will definitely have the world records for a while until zb gets optimized
Great video! Personally, I think it’s a hard choice between CFOP and ZB. CFOP has less algs to learn but the last layer is very inefficient. On the other hand, although ZB is more efficient, but there are a ton of algs to memorize and execute and it takes quite a while to learn full ZB (but the improvement is more probable than CFOP). So either try to maximize TPS with CFOP or just patiently practice with ZB.
What about other methods like Roux? Do you think they can become one of the top methods? I think ZB is better than CFOP if we give the young kids who are AMAZING at it(and Tymon the goat) time to get more used to the method than they already are. :) I liked the vid a lot
Cfop just has the funness factor. You CAN learn zb, but it takes so long to learn. If you trying to get into cubing and you see a vid on zb its like oh ye just learn 700 algs.😑 nobody new would want that. But when you only need 70 algs for full cfop its a lot more fun to learn becuase of fast results. Anyway. Great vid man your doing great. Very underated🎉
Hi Caiden👋👋. The other day on stream you advised me to work on f2l to get faster instead of trying to drill last layer. As soon as i focused more on f2l, i instantly got a bit better. I even got my second and third ever sub 7 in the span of 2 weeks about 3 months after getting my first sub seven. I also got a very lucky solve yesterday and broke my pd at home(sadly not on stackmat😭😭😭) with my first ever sub 6. A 5.74
Nice video! I am currently in the process of learning the T and U cases and wondering where to go from there. Maybe i shouldnt learn the other cases or Zbls after all. What do you think i should do? i average high 7 btw.
I think the main issue with zb is the recognition can be slow and if someone doesn't want to spend a lot of time to optimize and drill the recog I don't think zb is worth it cuz cfop might be just as fast cuz the extra moves will cancel out the zb recog
As a full zb user I dont agree that zb isnt worth it. at peak with full zb you will save 6 moves per solve which is over a second. zbll+zbls recog doesnt take over a second at the highest level and full zbll is quite good to use especially with BH recog for sune/AS
This is gonna be another "Max Park Redux vs. Everyone Else Yau" scenario lol. Great vid!
CFOP being not as good doesn’t mean it’s bad lol
You gotta watch the full vid my man 😉
I licked UV coating off a cube before.

Really interesting video on how your perspective on CFOP vs ZB is changing. The for putting this out.
Thanks for the watch! I'm finding it harder and harder to choose.

7x7 does not make you good at 6x6 and 6x6 definitely doesn't make you better at 5x5 lol (i am a big cube main)

I haven’t even finished learning full CFOP yet lol! 😂 you should totally do some tutorials on ZB. Awesome video btw!
Yay Caiden uploaded
Bro what the heck I pressed the upload button 10 seconds ago, how did you already comment 💀💀
Gr8 video! I think that zb is more consistent tho due to efficiency so the world champion might use zb
But ZB is 50% CFOP
True💀
Cant wait for 5K
very well video, explanations is great ;)
Nice video, Regards from Montevideo, Uruguay. 🤗
i just found your UA-cam channel and your videos are amazing
Keep practicing Ethen you’ll eventually succeed ☺️

Great breakdown of zbs pros and cons
Btw are you still making your signature cube out of the gan 15? Cause you said you didnt like it as much anymore
Appreciate it! Gonna switch it to the v5 but it’s coming out soon!
😊😊😊
Congrats on the sub-6!!🎉🎉🎉
Love ur vids
Yoo nice
wow you smashed sub 6 and nearly even got sub 5 good job!
Nice video, I really enjoyed it. I hope to see more videos and hope you continue to average sub 7.

Fantastically solid cubing video
Congrats, hopefully you can get a sub 5 official single next time🎉
Nice vid. One of my goals for 2025 is to learn full ZB but I am starting to question if I should now.
Yo nice vid
wish you a prompt race to 5000, good luck
i believe that ZB is the future of cubing. more and more people will start to use it and we will start to see more ZB users in competitions
This proves that cfop is still good
ok, now I plan to use CFOP until im sub 7 :) thx for advice
Sub 8 is perfect time to start to learn ZBLLs.My avg is 8 ind i feel its not a time to start to learn ,i need to improve more
What about other methods like Roux? Do you think they can become one of the top methods? I think ZB is better than CFOP if we give the young kids who are AMAZING at it(and Tymon the goat) time to get more used to the method than they already are. :) I liked the vid a lot
I started with cfop. I've been cubing for about 2/ years and now average sub 30s outside of comps. I vain eait to fully master cubing

Hey you do a great analysis only for last layer.
great great video! Greetings from Germany. Did you use the rs3m v5 and if yes, on what settings do you have it?
Cool explanation, I think that cfop is better for mortales like me😂
I just twiched to ROUX for OH
I think the main issue with zb is the recognition can be slow and if someone doesn't want to spend a lot of time to optimize and drill the recog I don't think zb is worth it cuz cfop might be just as fast cuz the extra moves will cancel out the zb recog
I've been thinking about using zb but was intimidated by all the algs...I think I'll stick with cfop for now :)
Did you know that 2x2 redux is just better for 4x4 and 5x5 than any other method
I can still be on the podcast right?
