I had a real good friend in my unit who ETSed the same time I did and he was a E-4 who had to get out because he served 12 years and wouldn't go for E-5 because he was one twice and took it twice.

Several old timers nearby laughed and saluted me spouting their rank, time and grade, and where they served. We all smiled and wished each other a Merry Christmas.

We know to do our time and get the fuck out!!! Hoa!
