im new to manual and my subaru has this. its an 09 impreza. is this feature useable when stopped at a light on a hill? i live in the foothills so that would be super helpful.
Should leave hand break and make people lige much easier. Because of that shit i need to sell this car now because im struggling with using that function
First thing is called a “hill holder clutch “ and it’s for people that don’t know how to drive properly. You can feel where the friction point is and drive as you should. If you don’t understand this concept then drive a motorcycle to learn. And watch a video showing how the clutch and flywheel are attached. Most people have zero idea how there car actually works
When does the 3 second start, when I let go of the brake or when I try to find the biting point of the clutch? Thank you for any insight.
Excellent feature! One of the deciding factors in buying my new car for our terrain here! ❤

So can we keep this feature on during driving or do we have to press the button while on the hill then turn it off while driving?
Does a gf8 wagon have hill assist function ?
My light remains on. How do I turn it off?
