I like these seemingly longer highlight vids. Did Sportsnet change format or something? Please keep them like this. It shows a lot more context and buildup towards the end results.
100% agree with this. I stopped watching the SN clips because they seemed to miss so much. I liked this one a lot.
It did for a while. Then they switched to 5 minute highlights for some reason while the official NHL channel kept the 9-10 min format. I'm glad they went back too and hope it stays this time

Those are my favorite B's alternate jerseys ever, they look extra slick with the contrast of the black helmets. And so cool seeing the classic Habs red and blue in the Garden.
I agree about the alternate jerseys. They take me back to the early '70's ( no helmets then, though ).
I like them but the bruins patch only being on one shoulder is a bit frustrating.

Montgomery looked so cool tonight - he's done a great job with this team and Marchand is working hard.
Not surprised by this result against Boston. St. Louis trusting Slafkovský more, he has two points. Pearson and obviously Anderson needs to step up for the Habs. Just terrible all around, Caufield seems to struggle a lot. We'll see on Wednesday against the Ducks at the Honda Centre.
I keep saying trade Caufield while he,s still worth something he is a one trick pony & the league has figured it out so his value sadly is dropping every game.

I'm a Bruins fan...but I disagree. Yes, it went off his skate and his foot moved...but I think that his foot moved that way b/c he was being pushed from behind.
Given that it was called a goal on the ice, I don't see Toronto overturning it.

In the last 2 games, I haven`t seen so many stoppable pucks, that the Canadiens Goalies have let in.
Doesnt help that the other team is getting double the shots on net.
Allen stopped a lot of quality shots though. it was a shooting gallery out there.

@codekhalil6437 not mannn first of all. Second yes they lost. They made mistakes and obviously they learned from it. They are still finding their grind with new team members who are stepping up.
As a Habs fan, this one was hard to watch...It's not the final score as much as the way they played. I'll admit it, Boston played really well tonight. I'm starting to wonder if the Habs would be a bit less confused with only 2 goalies instead of 3. All teams tend to play a little bit differently depending on which goalie is in the net, and I'm starting to wonder if having to adapt to 3 goalies instead of 2 isn't an extra challenge that they could do without. I'm not even sure of which goalie I'd trade if I was Kent Hugues.....Allen is a great veteran who wants to stay in MTL, Montembault has shown great potential, he's starting to mature as a goalie and shows more constance than before. Primeau could still end up being a solid surprise and has offer solid performances so far this year. What would you guys do? Keep on the 3 goalie system? Trade one of them, if so which one? And what would you hope to receive in return?
Mark andre fluery is seemingly the best available option. Wild might want to use wallstedt moving forward. Because of his cap hit i think it would really only cost the habs a mid round pick (im thinking third?) + primeau. But then you have 3 just better so maybe you offload allen to LA and run w montembeault and fleury??
Unlikely any of that happens tho. Mtl doesnt pull the trigger without la deal being a sure thing. Plus the goalie carousel is hard enough but mid szn w cap its nearly impossible.
@@reecewilliams155 I know that Marc-André Fleury is from Sorel which is relatively close to Montreal, but I don't remember him ever expressing any desire to play for the Habs. If Fleury said "I want to be traded to Montreal" I'm sure that, out of respect, everyone would see if it can be done...but since it doesn't appear to be a childhood dream from Fleury, I don't see why he'd want to finish is career with a team that is unlikely to make the playoff, and doesn't have much of a chance to win the cup (I know that once in the playoffs everything is possible, but I think it's more probable to see Fleury being traded around the deadline to a cup contender than to see him play for Montreal.) That being said, for the sake of the conversation, Montembault/Fleury would interesting....Montembault could probably learn a lot from Fleury.
@Lanwarder yea but fleury has 3 cups. Its not a ryan miller situation. And every time he goes to mtl he gets a standing ovation. Im sure he hasnt vocalized it but im sure if they asked him he would accept a deal there. Esp considering the wilds struggles

@Lanwarder not sure when said extension was signed but ultimately the wild have one of the best prospects in wallstedt . And Gustavsson last szn was incredible. With the team struggling right now ik he signed an extension but theres 2 spots for 3 guys. You really gonna keep what 36 yr old fleury over the other 2? More likely fleury goes somewhere hes wanted. Mtl is just the perfect fit imo

Not much you can say when you watch the Bruins play anyone. Near perfection. Almost never out of position. So disciplined. Each player knows his role and knows how to play it and where he should be. April cannot come soon enough for the NHL.
Yet still it didn’t help them last season in the playoffs 🤔tho it’s amazing how they lose a great player like PB and defensively don’t seem to miss him, but Brad is how old who they got to replace him when he retires 🤔 and I can’t believe u can afford two top netminders I wish my team had just one 🙄 I guess only 5% tax in Mass helps 🤔 Wyoming should really push for a sports team😏

Without Kirby Dach, the Habs just aren't getting it done.
Even with Dach they'd be struggling. Obviously he's a huge loss because teams can mostly just key in on Suzuki and Caufield, but if Slafkovsky keeps playing like this it'll be a game changer for this team that is so desperate for any offense right now.

Sooo many shots lol over 30 by end of 2nd lol terrible… if you’re gunna use the “let em shoot from outside” strategy, you gotta block and deflect everything you can! Cant let em all through while blocking sight view. That strategy can also lead to injuries like broken hands etc. just ask Gallagher. Also getting caught too deep too often. Also lots of soft goals going in, but hard to focus on that when you’re seeing 40+ shots ever night. Not a good game all round… hard to even judge anything off it and make adjustments lol
