STORY
Tucked away on a quiet French street, we stumbled upon an abandoned manor, long forgotten by time but rich with history. This once-grand estate belonged to Eric Lefèvre, a man of wealth and status who inherited the property from his ancestors. After the heartbreaking loss of his wife, Madeleine, this mansion became his refuge as he withdrew from the world, living in solitude for over two decades.
Inside, the untouched rooms are filled with Eric’s fascinating collections-vintage computer hardware, model cars, and rare LEGO sets-each item telling the story of a man clinging to the past in the wake of grief. Nature has begun to reclaim the property, with ivy creeping up the once-pristine walls, yet the estate’s charm and haunting beauty remain.
Eric and Madeleine’s children moved away long ago, leaving the mansion to decay, but as we explored its forgotten corridors, we could feel the weight of the memories left behind. From love and loss to a deep passion for unusual treasures, this abandoned mansion is more than just a ruin-it’s a life frozen in time, waiting to be uncovered.

Thank you, you two, you are are still the best on the net, Danny your camera work is deliberate, slow, and excellent, the viewer can easily follow and enjoy all of it. No rushing around here. Lesley your verbal documentary is outstanding, thank you for all you do.
Leslie's voice is so smoothing
😢 It's sad to see what happens when you pass away. It seems like the history of your life and ancestors disappears. This is a very old home that, in my opinion, dates back to the 1700's. The kitchen tells us how old it was because they were cooking with a fireplace and some of the kitchen pans were very old. It will all be gone soon! Thank you for sharing this with us! 😊
You guys are still the best on the net. Lesley has the perfect voice and respect for the previous inhabitants, and Danny is superb with the camera shots. He truly takes us along, and I feel as if I'm right there with Lesley.
I hope you guys find many more abandoned places so that you can entertain for many moons to come. I'm much older at 58, however, I know that if I were younger and had the ready availability that we have today with cameras and the net, I most definitely would be out searching these places!
Hell, if I make it to retirement in 2-3 years and have the health I have now, maybe I will do some searching and traveling just for my own entertainment. You guys are the best, and I hope you continue to provide us with quality entertainment. I always want to see the books and what types they are, and I would literally get lost in a place like this for hours!! Thanks again. Peace, young fellas, stay safe!!
Thank you Danny and Lesley. I can't wait till the next adventure.
Thank you, guys. I always enjoy watching these videos. The homes are always amazing and so interesting, full of history.. It's also incredible that so much of the furnishings are still there. People have not stolen them or destroyed much of the properties.
It is so amazing how you show us houses and we can imagine the people who lived there and where they might have relaxed or done in the past.
Backgammon.....the game with tha spikes n circular markers
Those old books are worth preserving.
Yes, would get lost looking through books in a place like this!
Thank you Lesley and Danny
Leslie you are a GREAT story teller🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Hello everyone and Leslie,Danny!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello 👋 😊
Ty! I loved it!
The computer on the dining table is a minitel. It was in widespread use in France during the 80's when I was there. It was an amazing precursor to the internet.
Ciao dall' Italia ,veneto
Greetings from New Jersey.
AAhh! The eccentrics of France you have to love it. Your experience took us to a bedroom that was just awesome a place to view the stars. Then next to it the place had caved in seriously I didn't expect to see that especially after looking at the bedroom it was my wow moment. I must say the balcony really was sketchy as Danny said scary stuff. If that place could talk, we would hear an amazing history. Thank you, Lesley, and Danny for another great exploration you put the life back in this place. Get well Danny and stay well Lesley.
Love your videos guys

Mais que cette maison était belle ....et encore un peu
Elle ressemble t la maison de l'arrière grand mère Daste ds les montagnes à Trebons.
Bonne soirée c'était trop beau
Hi LESLIE HI DANNY!!!
" medical bed" is called a stretcher and the game is backgammon. Love your videos. Thanks from Canada.
Such a shame that death taxes cost half of the worth of the estate. So many people without their homes and family treasures left to disintegrate. So many homes rotting that could be filled with families. Love the homes you explore
Sa me fais toujours mal au coeur de voir ses maisons abandonnées
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Why don't these countries take charge of these priceless structures.....maybe get some tourist $s. Unthinkable
@30:29 the recorder is a top brand for making personal notes and voice letters back in the mid 1960s
3" "Open Reel" is its technical term
Great job is always Leslie. FYI that’s not a grand piano. It’s an upright.
Greetings from California!

Amazing video and awesome mansion, very like this place. Tried to post another comment about the Minitel computer, but not sure, if it is visible, it only appears for me when I'm logged in. Wrote you on Patreon some information about this computer. Thanks for the great video.
Abkhazia .... next visit here
Didn't get a good look at it but guessing that device by the fireplace is a Spit Jack, which is pretty rare to find.
The medical bed as you call it is a stretcher ❤

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am surprised you don't see more animals in empty houses
The board game is called Backgammon
Computer is from 1985 or perhaps a year earlier.
Game is called Backgammon
heeeeeellooooo helloooo
Too big house for these days otherwise it would be bought and restored
Oh I’m Confused 🤷♀️, Who Allowed You To Go in His Home 🤔🤷♀️
Where is your mask?
Why not do some research before taking these tours? It's not that hard. And then put subtitles that tell what things really are...or do a second video telling more abut what you learned. Same thing for details of the family that are public. It would add a lot of value to your videos. I don't think it's a manor house. It's a cottage. You missed the iron bannister likeley attached to the house ... outside near the car. Also, protect your eyes, nose and lungs from the mold. It's probably why the cameraman is ill.
