Video of the newest lava flow ocean entry at Kilauea volcano Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
The Kamokuna ocean entry.
I arrived at the new ocean entry about 15 minutes after it started.
You can see how the new delta/bench (new land) grows as the video progresses.
Lava was flowing over a 20 sea cliff.
As it's been throughout this new flow, it was quite windy.
Video of this event is from my Nikon D800.
The tour boat seen is Lava Ocean Tours. Capt Shane and crew. Great tour to go on.
I sped up a few clips to show how the steam plume swirls as it rises.
Images from this outing can be viewed here.

Thanks for subscribing and watching. Many more videos to come.
Be patient. What I do isn't always easy.
My usual warning.
Do not attempt to do what I do.
I have 25 years of experience and I know what I'm doing out there.
So many things can go wrong for those who don't understand or can't recognize the dangers of a volcanic eruption.
Stay away and watch my videos instead.
Having said my usual warning, let me add that this flow is accessible via hikes of at least 9 miles round trip.
Expect large crowds of people. Be sure to carry at least 3 liters of water per person.
Always use extreme caution at the sea cliffs and never walk out onto new land as it could easily collapse into the ocean taking you with it.
As the bench grows the immediate sea cliff will be vulnerable to collapse also.
I highly recommend you watching this HVNP safety video on safety at ocean entries.

Also, it's best not to breath if you find yourself engulfed in the steam plume. If you think you will be in it often, be sure to wear a respirator.
Prints from my adventures can be purchased on my website lavapix.com.
Or locally at Krazy About Kona in the Kona Inn Shopping Village, Kailua Kona, HI.

It's kind of amazing how far this channel has come from dropping IPads and canned ravioli into lava
Hi I'm 69 years and would love to visit Hawaii someday to see this first hand. Absolute fantastic and memorable.
No better time then now. You never know when the flow will suddenly stop. Thanks for watching...

3:50 is otherworldly. The water looks like I imagine it would on Mars, under moonlight.

How hot is the lava flow ? In celsius please.
about 1700 C
Look the power of nature
Благодарю лаву.💐
Portuguese-brazilian
Where comes this heat from ? Is it the mass of our planet shaking with the gravitation? What force is this heat powering on since aeons??
Hawaii sits over a hot spot in the earths crust. Pressure is released in the form of magma building the Hawaiian islands. Thanks for watching...
Hey didn't know you were back!
maybe next time you should try kind of 3:30 - 3:40
that part looking awesome
Is that vapor toxic?
Irritating yes, but, not toxic unless you stand there breathing it in for hours. Best not to breath it at all. Tiny glass particles. Irritates the eyes too. Thanks for watching...
I expected you would say that there is some chemical in the air, released from the lava itself, but tiny glass particles? Holy shit that is dangerous. Thx! BTW i am really inspired by your videos and i hope one day i'll be able to come close and see lava myself.
citroengt11 There is a bit of acid rain too. More harmful to the camera gear. It really vary's depending on many factors. Always best to be cautious. Hopefully you can make it to see one day. Pretty amazing in person.
How long were you filming for?
About 7 hours. Thanks for watching...
Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!
