- Yeah....thought I was done with this. But upon another playthrough just for the fun of it, I noticed there were quite a few things I missed. The Walking Dead is my schtick. I cannot let this go incomplete.

@@thelastghost8592 It deserves to be left out, the entire season was pointless and, all things considered, was one of the final nails in Telltale's coffin. That season epitomized everything that was wrong with the studio, not only from the side of the game, but from a management perspective as well. The season was plagued by development problems, key figures leaving the studio halfway through the game, including the season head writer, and the firing of their CEO.
MetallicaRules yeah you’re right but I wouldn’t say the entire season was pointless. The whole point of introducing the Garcia’s to clementine was to show her a functioning group. Because by season 3 she believes that groups will always fall apart and that family doesn’t matter no more but this is only until she meets the Garcia’s.
Other than that I think you’re right about there not being a point with S3
It was literally just filler and the only importance that it had to clementines story was finding where AJ was lol. That’s it. They could have had the Garcia’s in a season 3 but what they should’ve done is have clementine a playable character again and have S3 about her finding AJ like asking questions and stuff and then going after him cause it would be nice to know how she got the horse during the flashback in Ep4 of S4 and how long it took her to get there and everything else

A group she was barely a part of because she was usually off doing something else (not introduced until halfway through Episode 1, possibly absent for most of Episode 3 if you killed Conrad, and off searching for AJ's whereabouts for most of Episode 4). Not to mention that the entire season takes place over the course of about 3 days, a week at most if you factor in the time jump at the end of Episode 5. She barely interacted with them because she was barely there, it almost feels like you could write her out of the story and nothing would change whatsoever. Plus, considering all of the drama between Javi, Kate, and David, not to mention Gabe's angst and wanting to be a man, they aren't really all that functional.

And even then, by the end of the season, that wasn't fully resolved. It got pushed off until the next season and was done through a 5-10 minute flashback in the final episode after everyone assumed she died.
According to Kent Mudle, The Final Season's creative director, the events of AJ being taken from her and Clem finding him at the McCarroll Ranch are about a year apart. Now granted, Kent had worked on the first two seasons as a cinematic artist, but had no creative input on ANF/S3, and he himself has been quite sympathetic when it comes to how people negatively view that season (which would probably explain why it's brought up so little in TFS). But still, it's safe to assume that from the point of AJ being taken away and her finding Javi weren't all that far apart, maybe a few weeks, a couple of months at most, and then she spent the rest of that time looking for AJ after she leaves Richmond.

AnimeKB It had been at least a year between Clem leaving Richmond and finding the Ranch. A lot can potentially happen in that amount of time, like (for example) several other communities potentially taking advantage of The New Frontier’s weakened state and either attacking them back for revenge against Joan’s secret raids or just to take what resources the community had left after the Walker herd had its fun.
Javi could also suggest to just let AJ remain at the Ranch if the boy was happy there, but then again Clem would’ve ignored that cause too much emotional baggage to just let him leave her life after all the friends & protectors she’s lost. Would’ve either gone deeply depressed or angrily insane had she failed to get AJ back.

Who could this b if I'm being honest from playing it the whole day the story is probably been the best it's been at some moments but the towers and krypt atm is grinding hell but there's patches soon but the combat hasn't really changed much it's still like X/10 but polished although there is moments where the gameplay feels slow but maybe that's certain characters I'd give it a 8/10 tbh
Story is potentially the worst it's ever been but some of the fan service and character dialogue is on point all gameplay is clean
Agreed, story isn't that good. There are too many times when the characters have long exposition dialogue, also wasted opportunities for some truly hype interactions (ex. Raiden vs Dark Raiden, Baraka vs D'Vorah, etc.)

No, that's not how it works actually. The infection has to be direct, so a walker bite, or dying. If you chop off your leg with an axe that has just been used to kill a walker, it will not infect you because it isn't actually entering your bloodstream, it isn't in your veins.

However, after they shut down and Skybound Games assumed the rights, they made it an Epic Store exclusive. People who originally bought the season on Steam would still be able to play it when Episodes 3 and 4 came out after the shutdown, but for any new purchasers, they would have to do it through Epic.
As much shit as we give Epic, rightfully so, according to Skybound, Epic was extremely helpful in ensuring the rest of the season was made. They provided sufficient funding for SKybound games to help bring members of the old development team on and other services, so this being exclusive to Epic isn't as bad as games like Metro or Borderlands 3 being exclusives.
Yeah it sucks being Epic exclusive, but considering how the deal took form, this would be the one case of said exclusively deals we can’t actually get angry over. Probably why the series isn’t mentioned much elsewhere where Epic is involved.
Still hoping it’ll return to Steam eventually. Already got all 4 seasons there but still, few friends don’t.

I think Violet gets more of a pass on her behavior than Jane. Violet was like all the students, troubled at one point. Sure she's all edgy and shit at first but she ends up being okay when you get to know her.
Jane on the other hand is a lone wolf who thinks her way is the only way with some sort of issue with anyone besides clem. Getting to know her only means that her "My name is not important" kind of attitude is all that is there. Not to mention she resorts to cowardice and shit morals when the going gets tough. Then at the end of it all, when she does get her way, she 'leaves' clementine if you choose her ending.

@@alchemy-the-animated-series It really was. I was just reading today an article from The Verge describing what their Stranger Things game was going to be like. Everything about it was a break from the Telltale formula (new engine, first person perspective, open world aspects, stuff like that), and TFS and Batman were really good games, which were all done under the auspices of a new CEO and management that was trying to reinvent Telltale. It was too little too late unfortunately.

1. 0:58 there are 2 bullets. 2. In the scene where Clem and AJ get robbed by Able, the gun that Able is holding is a M1911 which is a single action pistol (meaning the gun's hammer has to be cooked in order to shoot it) but in the scene the gun's hammer is down. So Able can't even fire the gun.

Biggest problem with this series is all the stories and characters Telltale abandoned. Remember Bonnie, Mike, and Arvo? What about Christa? What happened to her? Overall I love this series but man I'd love to have gotten closure on these characters

The missing finger showed up in my game in the final season. Depending on how you play it, it'll either show up or not appear.
