Great vid but im pretty sure the first combo you show doesn't match the notation. It should read "hopkick df2 df3+4 BT1,4 ff3~f 1,2" I could be wrong, but im new this character hence i was looking at this guide and it took me ages to realise i wasn't doing the inputs wrong haha...
thanks, trying to pick her up in 2024 and i learned alot... turns out f,f+4 on counterhit does 94 damage near the wall if you do the max damage wall combo with sidestep d/f2~b resplat into caliroll didn't know f,f+4 held so much power

I figgered it out. That her mids are strong. And her lows weak. The Lilli main High Rank was try to get me too low block. But played standing defence and worked from there.
No, opponent can still guard. But if you use a Move like df3 after qcf 3+4 on Hit, they can't sidestep it, if they try do a Move they eat a full combo.
I’m kinda beginner and I have no trouble with hitting it, but yeah timing is not very obvious so sometimes I drop it. So I do the combo differently like after ufn4 I do just 2 (jab) into d223 immediately. A bit Less damage but more beginner friendly and safe I guess
Why struggle using Jin kazama and I can use lily… Why struggle to do electrics and I can just use Lily’s crouch dash cartwheel move that gives her 6 FRAMES… Jin’s down 4 low sucks compared to lily’s down 3 low… the devs must hate my boy Jin. I GIVE UP, just let Lilly be a Mishima for crying out loud!!! What can Jin do that lily can’t do???? Sorry guys I just lost to a lily online lol love the vid bro
Yep bro I feel you, I dropped Kazuya because a 3rd dan Lily kept beating me even though I literally put 100s of hours into Kazuya. This guy didn't understand anything and was very clearly a total noob, probably within his first 30-50 games online easily. Yet I with over 350 hours of playtime was losing. Hurts man. Hurts real deep. So I decided to join the dark side and pick up Hwoarang, Miguel, Bob and Negan :D Simple. Strong. And I still get to use Bob whenever I wanna wavu wavu hellsweep and pseudo electric but without all that inconsistency that comes from mishimas very tight execution requirements :)
@@asdfghjkl2261 yeah man you’re most certainly not alone, I have 500 hours of playtime and I’m only just beginning to feel confident I can pick up any character. I started Lee last week and noticed that after a day of practice I have his b2 loops down. I will still get wrecked by a brand new Lidia or Fahk tho

Noob's thoughts, no offense. Good luck on becoming a better player and understanding why Jin is stronger when you reach higher ranks. Better CH, homing, tracking, poking. Jin also has better keepout with ewgf, f4, df2 etc. Jin feels clunky only when you don't know his weaknesses and play around them. If it's irritating to play around them, jin is not for you. I played Jin for 4 years and has more success with numerous other characters, but I've met players, in real life too, who are very good at "Jin".

Would you recommend keyboard (hitbox, etc) over joystick for Lili, for all the hold forward for dewglide? Your input looks really clean!
It's down to personal preference really. Just whatever feels most natural to you.
