Earlier Corrs is the best, "Only when I sleep", "Forgiven not forgotten", "I've never loved you anyway", "the right time" or anything from their unplugged album. And of course they often play Irish traditionals like "Toss the Feathers" they are great musician. I know them since I was a kid and I'm still in love with their drummer Caroline !
Better send some money to a Patreon member or they will never react to it. Like most reactors, UA-cam suggestions aren't considered. Got to give them money before they'll listen to you.
This is probably their poppiest song. To really get an appreciation you need to react to them playing Celtics folk music live. They kill it on the violin, tin whistle, drum, and the brother plays guitar and piano, sometimes in the same song. So talented. Please react to "Toss the Feathers"!
'The Corrs' were/are a great band, other tracks by them I recommend are: "Runaway", "So Young", "Forgiven, Not Forgotten", "The Right Time", "Only When I Sleep", "What Can I Do?", "I Never Loved You Anyway', "Radio", "Irresistible", "Angel", "Dreams" cover of the 'Fleetwood Mac' song, "Little Lies" cover of the 'Fleetwood Mac' song, "Songbird" cover of the 'Fleetwood Mac' song. There are many other songs by them but these are good ones to continue with.
Caroline Corr is one of my favorite drummers. She knows just how much of a fill to put in at any point, adding flair without overdoing it. She reminds me of Ringo Starr.
THANK YOU FOR REACTING TO MY FAVORITE BAND, as requested! I'm so glad you enjoyed them! I'd recommend Give Me A Reason for your next reaction. But their song Runaway is the most beautiful love song I've ever heard. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! SO HAPPY YOU LIKED IT!! Great reaction guys, thanks.
I remember when Breathless blew up the radio back in the day. I thought it was catchy but never really listened to anything else by them. They kinda remained forgotten to me until about five years ago when I stumbled across them again while making a playlist on here on UA-cam. I thought Breathless was much better than I remembered and I went down the rabbit hole of their catalogue and found that I really love the band. One of the few groups or singers where you can literally listen to any song and not want to just skip to something you heard on the radio. Seal is like that for me as well. You know The Corrs are incredibly talented when their cover of Fleetwood Mac's 'Dreams' is actually better than the original. Runaway is a great song...one of their best for sure. The one song that really resonates with me though is 'One Night'. For anyone who has been afflicted with the brutal malady that is unrequited love its hard not to feel moved by those lyrics...that and its just a beautiful song in general.
@@scottswenson383 Hey! Always good to meet a fellow Corrs fan. I loved how you described them as one of the few groups/singers where you can literally listen to any song and not want to skip to something you heard on the radio. It's true for me too. I've been a fan since the mid 90's and the only tattoo I have is of their band logo. Absolutely my all time favorite band. :)))
Omg me too😃, I was a huge fan and still is, I was waiting for them to react to the corrs, when I saw that they where reacting to the corrs I scream with joy🥳
Andrea is the lead singer. Her sister Caroline is playing drums, and she's a really great player. This was their stab at a more pop approach--Mutt Lange--he who produced the sound that made Def Leppard and Shania Twain megastars--did this one, which is great, but their stuff that went more trad Irish on their first two albums is what I love. Saw them open for U2 on the first night of the Elevation Tour, 3/24/01. They were fill-ins for PJ Harvey, who had the flu, and they were excellent--Andrea had the folks up front eating out of the palm of her hand. Come back in a couple of months on St. Patrick's Day, and watch them bust up a traditional Irish reel: ua-cam.com/video/_edkn7Qd9Zg/v-deo.htmlsi=WdTPoJBzs7N3iK3m
Yeah if they listen to the Coors doing the live version of Paddy McCarthy, or Toss the Feathers they will see what the band is really about! ua-cam.com/video/e_d1fNAIqSM/v-deo.html
You MUST wAtch "The Committments" and excellent film about a you g man putting together a Soul band in Dublin. The music is utterly exquisite, it's also VERY funny (you may need subtitles!!)
@@paulguthrie4857Same here. When they arrived, I was already listening to Irish artists like Clannad, Enya, the Chieftains and others. Then, we had Wilson Phillips which I also liked. Then for me, The Corrs were the perfect blend of them all!
Thank goodness for Female Fridays! Another great Amber pick. PLEASE DO MORE CORRS. Andrea not only is the lead singer, but she plays a mean tin whistle, which is a fipple flute. The Corrs aren't really country; they're definitely Irish, which can be heard on two purely instrumental pieces they do, on which Andrea doesn't sing but plays the tin whistle. ("Joy of Life" and "Toss the Feathers") Caroline kills the drums, really. She's not messing around. Sharon is an incredible violinist, which is apparent on their instrumentals. You really can't get an idea of just how good they are from this video. If you ever do another Corrs song, maybe you might look into a really well-recorded concert, "Live in London 2000." Two sources are online in which the whole concert is shown and the songs and where they start in the video are noted in the comments.
The Corrs aren’t a country band. I can see why you’d say that but I think the best way of describing their genre is Irish Folk-Pop. If you want to hear the other sisters duet with each other, I strongly recommend listening to their cover of No Frontiers. It’s absolutely spellbinding and gives me chills every time I listen to it. They also did a really good cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams.
Hi, you two! It's Andrew Erroch fae Paisley in Scotland here. The Corrs are absolutely lovely and gorgeous, too. You should next react to their first hit, which is called 'Runaway'. They have many great tunes. A fun fact about them is they have appeared in films, particularly Andrea. Another you should add to your list for Film Friday is 'The Commitments'. An excellent comedy-drama movie about a band in Ireland with a dream to make it big as a soul band, especially the manager, Jimmy Rabbitte. The Corrs sisters played Jimmy's sisters and even Jim had a small part too, although only Andrea had a speaking role and they weren't in the band. The soundtrack is awesome too and has some great classic soul tunes, which were probably more popular in the UK than the originals. Æx 🙏
Any day I get to watch a Corrs reaction is a good day! They're my favorite band of all time, and they're sooooo much more than "Breathless". They didn't make it real big here in the U.S., but they were/are HUGE internationally!
Glad you finally reacted to this family group. They've been around since 1990.😊 And they are incredible. I AM surprised they have never popped up before😮😊😊😊.
There is a quirky Irish movie from 1990 called The Commitments about a Dublin group of 20-something’s trying to start a band that plays American black soul music. The lead singer of The Corrs is in it as the main character’s younger sister. It’s got fantastic music in it, the actors are all doing their own singing, and it shows a slice of life in the poorer parts of the city in the late 80s early 90s. They curse like sailors so it might not be right for your movie channel but I love it. Make sure to turn the subtitles on because some of the accents are thicker than others.
This is one of my favorite songs by them! 😊 The other lovely Irish singer you were trying to remember was probably- Enya. I love her music. It's Heavenly, ethereal, relaxing, just so.many things!❤
I love this band, one of my favorites. I've never had the pleasure to see them live, but have seen them in concert videos and they sound just as good there. They have so many great songs!
Another great Irish singer who deserves a listen is Imelda May, who used to head up a 'Rockabilly' band, but now sings solo. Check out her singing her own composition, 'Black Tears', on the Jools Holland show, on the bbc. You may need a tissue! 😭😭😭
I seen them live in Dublin in 2016. They really are even better live! Their lead singer is Andrea and she plays the tin whistle. Jim plays guitar and piano, Sharon plays the Violin and Caroline is the drummer. Other great songs of theirs are: Forgiven Not Forgotten, So Young (K Klass Remix), Only When I Sleep, Dreams, Runaway, Radio, Give Me A Reason, Irresistible, The Right Time, Radio, Queen of Hollywood, Would You Be Happier? , Summer Sunshine
The Corrs was one of those Irish bands who did great on combining electric sounds with the traditional instruments: tin whistle (Andrea Corr), fiddle (Sharon) and bodhran/drums (Caroline). I heard them in Feb 1998 and immediately loved their sound
I love the Corrs and at some point, I was semi-obsessed just because they helped me study...every time I had to write a paper I put on a concert of them to focus... usually listened to metal (Nightwish) but this worked out nicely...also female drummers??? HELL YES!!!!!
An amazing band…saw them live many years ago. Their 1st 3 albums in particular are superb. They rock, do pop and beautiful Celtic music…they are the full package. Keep delving into their back catalogue, you won’t be disappointed
This band has formed by : 1 brother & 3 sisters : Andrea Corr is the lead singer, Caroline Corr is the drummer, Sharon Corr on the violin. & Jim Corr on the guitar . Do next from them, these super cool smash hits : ''irresistible'' , ''Radio'' , ''Dreams'(feetwood mac cover) , ''Only when i sleep'' , ''Forgiven ,not forgotten'' , ''Runaway'' , ''Toss the feathers'' & ''All The Love In The World''
The band consists of siblings Jim Corr (keyboard, guitar, backing vocals, born July 31, 1964), Sharon Corr (violin, backing vocals, born March 24, 1970), Caroline Corr (drums, bodhran, piano, backing vocals, born March 17, 1973) and Andrea Corr (lead vocals, tin whistle, born May 17, 1974).
Thank you guys for choosing this for Female Friday! I’ve always enjoyed this fun, upbeat song and video! I believe that brother, Jim, started the band and encouraged his sisters to join him. As siblings their voices meld so well together, and create such symmetry as performers in the video!
The talent of every member of The Corrs is phenomenal (& the fact that they're all stunningly gorgeous certainly doesn't hurt). My favorite of their songs is "Runaway". I'd also suggest their songs "Irresistible", "Angel", "Summer Sunshine", "Only When I Sleep", " Long Night", "Would You Be Happier" & their version of Stevie Nicks' "Dreams".
You need to watch The Commitments on your movie channel. Andrea Corr has a small part as the younger sister of the main character. It's a great Irish movie about an R&B band.
@@ChelseaPensioner-DJW Andrea is the Sister, Jim is in the band at the end that the sax player joins, Caroline is in the crowd when the commitments perform I never loved a man and Sharon is the Violin player in the country band that Bernie joins. This is what I call "Moving house music." And what I mean by that is picture yourself either driving across state to move into a new home and it being the most beautiful sunny day ever and this comes on the radio. Or you are literally unloading the car/van/truck and everyone is pumped and optimistic about the move and can't wait to throw themselves into this "New life."
Yeeeeees! The Corrs are in my top 5 all time favorite bands. I just love em. A lot of their music has more of and Irish feel. This is probably one of the most poppy songs. Andrea is lead vocals and also plays the flutey whistle thing. Sharon plays the violin Caroline plays the drums Jim is on guitar or keys
OMG….THIS MY FAVORITE BAND EVER!!!! ❤❤❤❤ So happy you’re giving them a try, they are so underrated but absolutely stunning musicians! I have been following them for over 20 years and seen them live. They are great!!! Thanks for this. Please listen to more from them like Runaway or Love to Love You
The Beautiful Corrs!! This song was written and produced by Mutt Lange. It has that country pop sound you talked about and sounds very much like the sound of the songs he wrote and produced for Shania Twain when they were married. The Corrs catalog is worth exploring. A great performance is their live performance with U2's Bono. Try, When Stars Go Blue! Cheers\=/\=/
When I was younger, my siblings and myself had great singing voices. Our family heritage is Celtic, so we come from multiple musically talented families. My older sister could sing (classically trained Opera) and she could also play the Piano, the Organ, Violin and Cello. My other siblings and myself could sing and we all wanted to be like The Corrs. Unfortunately, my siblings and myself didn't keep up with singing and lost that ability and decided to do other things instead.
and this was in the soundtrack of one of my favorite rom-coms "The Wedding Date" Took me a bit to get there, but that's where I recognize it from the most. Really wonderful voices and song.
Great live band as well Three of the prettiest women ever ...class acts and talented brother Jim ....great family venture ...live they are great ...several hits and a great instrumental "toss the feathers' awesome song shows how good they play as well 👍👍👍👍👍♥️💯
Good reaction! The Corrs have a great back catalogue. My personal favourite is "So Young" as it captures such a great time in my life, when I was indeed 'so young' too - in my 20s in the 1990s, and for many people that's a great time to be alive, when you're now a young adult but you still feel you have all your life stretching ahead of you, with so many possibilities! Happy times. The 1990s was also the start of the "Celtic Tiger" times, when Ireland was going through a boom and enjoying a high profile internationally, and musically it was boosted by a run of wins at Eurovision and the international success of Riverdance, so it was a great time for emerging Irish acts like The Corrs, The Cranberries and Snow Patrol.
I have always loved The Corrs. Saw them in concert when they were on tour in the US. Caroline is the drummer, Sharon plays the violin/fiddle, Andrea is the lead singer and when they play more traditional Irish or Irish/pop fusion music she plays the tin whistle. Jim is the guitarist. You should really check out some of their more traditional Irish and Irish fusion music. It's some of my favorite stuff from them. Caroline will even pull out the Bodhrán, a traditional Irish drum, to play. A couple of my favorites are Haste to the Wedding and Toss The Feathers. They are instrumentals and better to watch in a live performance IMO. They do also perform more traditional Irish music with vocals. Anything on their Home album is more traditional Irish or Irish fusion. Andrea also starred in a movie called 'The Boys and Girl from County Clare' that I enjoyed.
The 90s and early 2000s had so many great hits just like this. You should revisit an artist named LeAnn Rimes. Check out her song, "How Do I Live." Magical. Romantic. POWERFUL! 💯🌟👍
Wow! I discovered them by accident, in the 90's...friends had no idea, had never heard of them. I loved listening then, still do. Great recommendation 👍❤
FINALLY!!! The Corrs don’t belong in any “genre”. They’re their own genre. Their music is defined as Celtic Pop. I’ve been following their career since they began. Love their sound. A must is the duets with Bono (Summer Wine and When The Stars Go Blue”. Also the remake of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” with a Celtic twist. “Runaway”, “So Young”, “Don’t Say You Love Me”. There’s a nice catalog to choose from but you must react to a live. Thank You 🇨🇦
Yes!! Finally The Corrs on Female Fridays!! This was released in the year 2000, one of their more pop sounding song, they usually have a more Irish sound. I recommend Runaway, Dreams (a Fleetwood Mac cover), Irresistible, Long Night, So Young.
Fantastic Song! The Corrs are a wonderful group. If you want to hear a great collaboration between one of the Corrs and Bryan White, I recommend "Looking Through Your Eyes" Done for the 1998 animated film, "Quest For Camalot", also written by David Foster and Carole Bayer Sager. Great Reaction!
Yes, finally the Corrs have come to OKC. The lead singer is Andrea and I’ll have to admit I’m so in love with her. Omg the voice and she’s drop dead gorgeous, my Irish roots just keep pulling me towards Irish performers, the Corrs are top of the list. Next song has to be Runaway.
The Corrs entire album Talk on Corners is phenomenal from beginning to end, one of the few (dozen) albums that are just perfect like that. Every Corrs track is great. Try "What Can I Do?"
Andrea is the lead singer, Caroline is the drummer, Sharon on the violin. Jim on guitar

The Corrs:
Andrea Corr - Lead Vocals,tin whistle,ukulele, mandolin
Caroline Corr - drums,percussion,bodhran,piano,
vocals.
Sharon Corr - Violin ,keyboards,vocal
Jim Corr - guitar,piano,keyboards,vocals
YES!!! 😁😁😁 SO HAPPY YOU'RE REACTING YO THIS SONG!!! 👏👏👏. This song came out in 2000. Next song from The Corrs you should react to is "Angel".
Love this group...natural talent, sweet Irish voices....nicest combination 😍
You need to watch The Commitments on your movie channel. Andrea Corr has a small part as the younger sister of the main character. It's a great Irish movie about an R&B band.
*YES*
When the auditions were going on the other three Corrs appeared as a ceilidh band.
@@ChelseaPensioner-DJW Andrea is the Sister, Jim is in the band at the end that the sax player joins, Caroline is in the crowd when the commitments perform I never loved a man and Sharon is the Violin player in the country band that Bernie joins. They all auditioned for the film to be part of the commitments
Andrea has a brief appearance in the film Evita starring Madonna. She is Juan Peron's mistress before he gets together with Eva aka Evita.
This is what I call "Moving house music."
And what I mean by that is picture yourself either driving across state to move into a new home and it being the most beautiful sunny day ever and this comes on the radio. Or you are literally unloading the car/van/truck and everyone is pumped and optimistic about the move and can't wait to throw themselves into this "New life."
Have loved them for years!! Magical!!
This brings back memories. I saw The Corrs live in concert at a sports stadium and they were awesome!!
My favourite Corrs song of all-time! 😎🔥🤘🎸
The Coors!! Yes! It brings so many great memories. They have loads of great songs and you both you’ll love them. ❤️
I love The Corrs! Long time fan.
This is a karaoke staple here in my country! Always get the party going. Love the corrs for 20 plus years
Andrea is the lead singer. Fun fact, she always performs/sings bare-footed. She also plays the tin whistle.
Yeeeeees! The Corrs are in my top 5 all time favorite bands. I just love em.
A lot of their music has more of and Irish feel. This is probably one of the most poppy songs.
Andrea is lead vocals and also plays the flutey whistle thing.
Sharon plays the violin
Caroline plays the drums
Jim is on guitar or keys
OMG….THIS MY FAVORITE BAND EVER!!!! ❤❤❤❤
So happy you’re giving them a try, they are so underrated but absolutely stunning musicians! I have been following them for over 20 years and seen them live. They are great!!! Thanks for this. Please listen to more from them like Runaway or Love to Love You
Yes!!!! One of my all time favorite bands finally appearing on the Rob Squad Reactions channel!!!
"All the Love in the World" and "Irresistible" are another couple of good song of theirs.
"Toss the feathers" really showcases their talent.
and this was in the soundtrack of one of my favorite rom-coms "The Wedding Date" Took me a bit to get there, but that's where I recognize it from the most. Really wonderful voices and song.
I played The Coors “Erin Shore” an instrumental song at my wedding as I walked down the aisle…❤
The Corrs have so many great songs. You'll be seeing them again for sure. They are such a good looking family too.
Been waiting 3 years for this one! I 100% LOVE the Coors!
It that the beer talking or the autocorrect? :D
Great live band as well Three of the prettiest women ever ...class acts and talented brother Jim ....great family venture ...live they are great ...several hits and a great instrumental "toss the feathers' awesome song shows how good they play as well 👍👍👍👍👍♥️💯
The Corrs "When the Stars Go Blue" w/ Bono is amazing
Yes! Finally. Thank you! I knew you guys would love them.
The Corrs is just wholesome and the singers are crazy gorgeous.
Just as well known for their charity work too. Finally the Corrs!!!!
That pop/country flavor is Robert "Mutt" Lange, Shania Twain's husband at that time. He produced this song as well as some of her early albums.
Yes, Sinead O'Connor was from Ireland.
Enya too
And Enya.....
I think she might have been eluding to The Cranberries.
Romantic. POWERFUL! 💯🌟👍
Call me weird, but I'm biased toward Trisha Yearwood's version of that song. (Both are the original! Long story.)
My Junior High school years.
Remember us young teenagers running around the streets and listened to this music 🎶
I loved this song when it came out in 2000, but all of the sudden the radio quit playing it and I actually forgot about it for a while
Wow! I discovered them by accident, in the 90's...friends had no idea, had never heard of them. I loved listening then, still do. Great recommendation 👍❤
Awww love the corrs! Brilliant!! More of them!!!👏
@MrRobsquadreactions ok?
The Corrs are amazing! Great choice for a reaction.
Yeah all great songs🙂. I still have them all on CD 😁. Back in the day when CDs were the thing😏.
@@joelcrawford28Yeah, i still have their CDs. I would’ve recommended all their songs 😄 It was hard to pick 5 to recommend to Rob and Amber.
@@frizzylizard2621 absoultly they did not make one flop song, they are all GOLD.
Glad yall discovered them. I bought this album 20some years ago and I still play it!
I've got a signed CD from them. They came to town at their peak and I went to the record signing. The girls were even better looking in person. 😍😍😍
Just toured Down Under after 20 years away...fantastic night
Fantastic Song! The Corrs are a wonderful group. If you want to hear a great collaboration between one of the Corrs and Bryan White, I recommend "Looking Through Your Eyes" Done for the 1998 animated film, "Quest For Camalot", also written by David Foster and Carole Bayer Sager. Great Reaction!
"Old Town" is a must...phenomenal live performance. Sharon's violin and Andrea's singing especially
At the time I had no idea how good the music was growing up, just hit after hit week after week. I just thought it would keep going.
