I think my favorite birds are the smaller species - Juncos and wrens and the like. In the winter they tend to hang out up close to the house and are easy to view without going into the freezing . I would describe them as ‘plucky’ in the face of the hardships of winter.

@timmillan6701 yeah my favourite is also the smaller birds robin,chaffinches, blue tits try to feed them alot during a freezing day
