I love this film and the score so much, what a great film to watch as a child in England back with my family in the 1990s, really thought-provoking, well written and engaging, it really makes the viewer to feel for Abby and what she goes though. Glad it has found renewed success digitally and on blu ray. I like the use of The Guf from Jewish mythology and the fact that in this film it was empty and because of mankind the world was coming to an end. The subject matter was treated in an intelligent and unique way, I believed when watching it that it could happen just as we see in the film. Who knows maybe it will.

@@jorgebermann9369 right, makes sense, thanks. love the extended version. i’ve been trying to find the music that plays over Coffey’s death, doesn’t sound like what’s in the soundtrack. checked to see if it was from this soundtrack.
@@kleverstudios yeah not the full score has been released as far as I know. Not even a decent Blu-ray or 4K version. Was announced but still not released.
You took me to a Wormwood Sign last year. At night. Middle of Nowhere to me Lord. I touched a Tree at that Church by Wormwood. WIND. I took pictures. I listen.☝️ Same night a Church with the name Damascus. Next morning I saw it was bombed. Syria. GOD IS WATCHING WORLD.☝️ Two nights. Dec. 21- 22, 2019. I go back often.
Super Soundtrack der unter die Haut geht und total zum Film passt. Das waren die 80er Jahre Filme, da hat man sich noch Mühe gegeben einen superben Soundtrack zu machen. Fairlight CMI+Synclavier II waren die Hauptträger der Filmmusiken und das fehlt heute. Nur ProTool Schrott in den neueren Filmen, einfach nicht mehr anhörbar.
