So glad I found this channel, was going to start a run with this weapon and the other videos are really helpful. Joining your journey to 3k subs and beyond most definitely
Honestly I was sort of disappointed when I got this weapon, it looks cool and has some great stats but I was hoping to get some of the cool flame slashing ash of wars the Fire Knights do.
Btw, I have another recommendation! I saw someone on reddit using one of the hand-to-hand weapons in their off hand and the dismounter in their right hand to emulate the dlc's horned warriors. They didn't have the actual horned warrior greatsword at that point, but if you do, it's quite the build!
Great suggestion, that ones going on the to-do list! I do have the Horned Warrior's Greatsword, and the Ash of War is very cool. It has a storm Ash of War, so you can use the Shard of Alexander and the Talisman from the dancing lion to enhance it!
Doin god's work out here giving these Pve players a build thats strong and still has 60 vigor The amount of players i see even well beyond lvl200 with 1500 or less hp is absurd
I love its range and unique L1s that are fast for a Colossal Sword. I've noticed though that despite the high AR on your character sheet when I test its damage on enemies it does worse than the standard Greatsword by about 100 damage or so depending on the attack used.
@dartdevious561 That’s because of the different moves the talismans affect I have the Godfrey Icon on the first loadout since that build focuses on the AoW. Godfrey Icon enhances charged AoWs and spells, not our charged r2s I use the Axe Talisman on the second loadout since that one focuses on the Charged heavy attack, since that's what the Axe Talisman boosts
Close enough, welcome back Chaos Zweihander!
Giant daddy is back 😍

@@marceresrellios1600 Thanks much, glad I could help!!!

that’s fair. that’d be a nice addition to have along with flame skewer and flame spear

this weapon is truly insane, and it fits in almost every build you want
I think it’s the beast weapon in the game rn

It's an acceptable trade-off anyway, all things considered.
I call it Zweiberge
Calling it this actually makes me want to use it. It's like giving a toddler broccoli and calling it tiny trees (worked for me somehow)
fire Ouchy
Recommendation: Make a build for the rakshasa great katana
I'll put it on the list! The Ash of War looks wonderful. I just did a great katana, so it will be a couple of weeks down the line
@@the_jersey_side The ash of war has it's uses, but playing into the counter hit damage on all of the pokes in the moveset is where it really shines.
Howl over flame grant me strength? On a fire build?
@Apex-jf4pn Yup! Turns out the damage is higher with Howl, that's why I only talk about FGMS in the defensive variant of the build
@@the_jersey_side I saw that later on, thanks for clarifying!
@@Apex-jf4pn Anytime!
Why the axe talisman and not keep the Godfrey icon?

Why that helm over Messmer's?
Winged serpent Helm gives boosts to all Messmer Knight AoWs, Flame Spear included!
Flame skewer actually can do even more damage as flame spear, it even has range on its own with its follow up attack
