Best vid yet on the IRDX I bought it as soon as it came out and at first I was leary but after using it and watching the vids it brings a whole new perspective on IR's cant wait to use it with Neural Amp Modeler from Steve Atkinson his free open source software is phenomenal as it is IRDX should make this plugin pop!!! Thanks for all that you do!!!
Well I could definitely hear the difference, in a good way for sure. However, call me old-fashioned but I still prefer to throw a couple of mics (SM57 and a D2 my preference for most things I record) in front of a good sounding amp+cab. Its the same thing with plug-ins: its crazy how good the creators have got them to sound, but in MY OPINION, outboard gear sounds better. Regardless, excellent before/after comparison man (of course it doesnt hurt having a badass play the riffs for you 😅).
I’ve been chasing this for a long time and have often re-amped to get exactly this nonlinear behavior. If you can also figure out how to realistically simulate feedback I’d be in heaven.

I love killer plugins but this one is bullshit TBH. I can just put izotope ozone Huge guitar preset on the master or just on gtr track.That and like a NDSP, stl tonality, mercuriall,or plugin Alliance amp sim. Killee
Saturation is exactly how you would describe what is missing from a cab IR. So if Bogren Digital has nailed the type of saturation that you get out of a moving cone, good job. @@jasonbourneishorny

I tried it and it definitely is a preferable sound when I a/b it on the intense setting
It straight away brings that sound like it's coming from a amp... adding percentage will allow to bring it back to be bit cleaner if the mix needs it
