Learning To Solve a Diabolical Sudoku Puzzle

I was inspired to try and solve a Diabolical Sudoku after getting addicted to @Cracking The Cryptic 's videos. I still watch them almost daily and attempt the sudokus on their Web App.
To the seasoned sudoku solvers, I'm sure I've made some mistakes in this video so kindly point them out for me if you'd like :)

In middle school I used to race Sudoku against another guy in my honors classes in the library during study hall. We could solve the hardest Sudoku's from whatever website we were printing them off, of so we though we were pretty good. This girl from our classes asked if she could join one day, we thought she was pretty ditsy so we assumed she wouldn't present any real competition. Oh man how wrong we were, she finished it before we were even half way done. I think that might have been the last time that we raced Sudoku... It just didn't feel the same after that.
