(My tests were in GP mode, but the AI didn't interrupt it) - Hypothetically, could it also work on the "pipe tracks" like Super Cylinder or Midnight Flight? Thank you for making such a great contribution to this scene, these runs are incredible to watch.

@@CrasherX2000 wicked motors own vehicle stats allow him to keep any momentum he has accumulated with the slowest gradual reduction in speed in comparison to all other vehicles. Vehicles have a cruising speed (the speed they are at without boost panels and drill dives) and the cruising speed is what vehicles will reach in normal un-aided situations through a slow reduction in velocity. Wicked motor has the lowest “”drag”” of the vehicle roster, so if he gets 748292kmh for whatever reason, he’ll keep that speed the longest
I'm so tired of F-Zero "successors" where they just make a floaty zero grav racer where you go kind of fast. Watching this turned my Rainbow Phoenix into an Erect Phoenix

New mechanics exist. A good starter is watching grayfruits vod of this game plus other stuff from speed runners and aaronmac64s channel (Aaronmac is the dev)
Wow, now you are a speed demon! I am dipping my toes into time trials for this game and I thought I was getting good too, seems I have a long way to go haha. I have a question though, how come your spingrind looks different from the norm at the start of the race? I've never seen that done before
There's an option in the settings menu at the bottom of the accessibility tab that disables the spin animation, which makes it much easier to align the machine properly when going for spin grinds, especially if you're spin grinding while going around a corner (e.g. the start of Figure 8, Deadly Straights, Sunset Halfpipe etc.).

I play fighting games too and ironically, I’m terrible at labbing, which is exactly the skill you need to find and perform these feats.

Just because you *can* be sweaty with a game doesn't mean you *have* to sweat to enjoy it; imo this game has enough going for it to be satisfying to play at any skill level, and the existence of high-level play doesn't change that.

it has a lower skill floor than F-zero, i thought F-zero X had too high a skill floor but this is much easier to pick up
