So far, this is probably the hardest track in the game to go completely full send on for 3 laps straight. I even had to slow down at 0:53 and 1:13 in order to take the next corner without crashing.
Compared to the Kickstarter demo, Drill Diving is much easier but also less effective at higher speeds so there are times in laps 2 & 3 where I abstain from performing a Drill Dive that I previously went for in lap 1, either because it's too difficult / not worthwhile, or because hitting consecutive boost pads on the ground gains more speed than Drill Diving.
I chose Ivory Mako because it has a higher Boost stat than Silken Speeder and Wistful Ghost (the 3rd Hyper Slider that was just added to the game). The Boost stat is especially powerful on this track due to the fact that there are multiple places where you hit boosts consecutively, and the higher the Boost, the more speed you gain from those sections. For this reason, Wicked Motor (new Speed/Boost/Grip focused machine) can also perform surprisingly well here despite its terrible Hyper Sliding.
On other tracks where you don't face multiple groups of consecutive boosts, I would still consider Silken Speeder to be faster than Ivory Mako. Maybe. Not 100% sure yet, especially after this.
The spin attack animation was disabled via the settings menu to make it easier to perform better spin grinds.

Hitting that first turn at like 4500 Km/h on the final lap is insane dude. Sheesh!

Should I get this game? I’ve been a huge fan of F-Zero for a while (especially GX) and this might scratch that itch for fast paced, challenging awesome stuff that I’ve had for a while.

Whats the wall spin trick? Seems to boost speed?
Yeah, if you're driving parallel to a guard rail, then do a spin attack while strafing into the rail, you get a speed boost at the cost of some health. It's a game mechanic intentionally put in by the dev.
