Fun Fact: As you can see at 2:06 in the video, universe sandbox accepts e notation, which means you can theoretically reach infinity. The way to do this is the following:
Go to any of the places where you can enter numbers.
Make sure that that spot accepts e notation (Im not sure if all of them can).
You can do this by setting it to some extremely high number in a high unit of whatever, and then going to a lower one.
For example: 10000000 milky ways (or more) and then switching to grams.
If you havent accidentally entered JavaScript's infinity (1.79769E+308), then proceed to enter 1.80E+308 (or more, but this will break the game or set it to 1.79e308 or 1.80e308).
Boom, done.
Now you can experiment around with planets whose size is literally infinity (for the game, as you could just say 1.79e309 boom more than infinite).
You may have any of these 4 questions now:
"Why exactly 1.79e308?"
1.79e308 is the same as 2 to the 1024th power (which 2x2x2x2x2... with 1024 twos). I myself dont know why exactly that, might as well just be no reason at all. Note that 1024 is 2^10, so you could also say 2^2^10, but 2^1024 is preferred.
"Couldnt I zoom out to view that 'infinitely' big planet?"
I mean, it seems as if thats possible, but it isnt. If you attempted to zoom out to the planet, not only would that take a VERY long time because 1.79e308 is very big, but even if you were to do it, four things might happen:
Either, the planet youre attempting to view starts z-fighting with the camera.
Or, the game crashes due to the camera having reached more than 1.79e308 distance in whatevers from the center of the simulated universe.
Or, nothing happens at all and the camera, stuck at the edge of the universe, just gets a good view of the whole universe.
Maybe, as the last option, the game crashes along the way because its trying to simulate so much inside of a planet (if it even does that) and you literally cant see the outside of the planet because the game always keeps crashing

"Why do you keep switching between 1.79e308 and 1.79E+308?"
It's because of the two currently existing notations used for this specific limitation. As you can see at 2:06 in the video, the game uses engineering notation, which is a number below 10 possibly containing more digits after a dot (i.e. 1.79E+308), then a capital E and then a number representing how many digits the number has in total + one digit (for example. 1E+6 = 1000000 or 1 million).
However, the notation im used to is called scientific notation and is the same as engineering, does however not use a capital E, but instead a non-capital e and doesnt have a + before the number if its positive. Engineering is the notation of the game, while scientific is the one Im used to, so I just keep switching due to not wanting to decide.
Note that literally everything here is based on speculation and im not even sure if 1.79e308 is the limit of the game, and if the limit comes earlier, or later. (later is unlikely)

I live in the US and use metric. We really exist, I promise! That said, the game's units are all in metric, so it'd be hard for him to use imperial units without actively converting them, and those conversions are a pain in the ass for the most part.
