Hi Fififemke! From memory, the Drow are a race of Dark Elves on Faerun, typically hated and despised by humans. To be fair, they are not known for having the nicest culture, being matriarchal and typically murdering their mothers to gain their power. They also live in the Underdark and mostly worship Llolth, the Spider Goddess (who encourages treachery and backstabbing amongst her followers) you still haven't met anyone I remember from BG 1 and 2
@@fififemke It's true they can be bloody hard work to remain on civil terms with, but in the earlier games it is possible to recruit a Drow into your party, and even romance her. If you work very hard at it, you can even convince her to turn away from evil. (They are still hated and mistrusted by everyone. Just having a Drow in your party gives you -2 reputation)
...so... You're looting Gut ... "The talisman (...) Ooh it's gonna be for you, Shadowheart" My evil mind: "no, it's not.. no benefits from either the shield or the talisman... See those words ' if the wearer bears the Absolute brand' ? which you decided NOT to take?" Both these items could have given their bonuses to you had you not chickened out from the branding iron. This game is going to be very difficult and demanding to you if you want to stay pure and all-loving. Feasible but extremely challenging. And remember - if you're still standing, you haven't made bad choices. Your aim is to survive (by doing various quests along the way that give you loot and xp, making you stronger). So whenever you're before a choice - like with the brand - you want to ask yourself "Is it going to make me stronger or weaker, and how?" And if I can't tell, how it's going to weaken and/or directly endanger me - I go for it, chances are it'll prove beneficial... But you won't know if you don't say yes.... Well, let's keep watching and see when you realise you can't use the talisman...
Spell Slots are the charges, the bullets you have in total to use your spells. If you create more it doesn't mean you can use them immediately. To cast two spells per turn, use the "Quickened spell" option on the right of your action bar, the drop with the little wings. It lets you cast a spell with a bonus action instead of with an action.
@@fififemke No problem! The action system of Dungeons and Dragons sounds simple, but it's actually the biggest hurdle for new players. Always remember the important words: Action and Bonus action, those are the resources that let you do stuff during your turn 😉
if you want to do high damage duel weapon builds on Astarion are great, throwing build on karlach or magic missile build on gale. there are a lot of character builds on youtube for high damage builds. luving the playthroughs since I found you through mass effect. keep up the great work.
Okay, a slightly charged few moments with the goblin girl. She isn't exactly romantic, but you've got to admire the intensity. I think her lips got a little redder when she was talkingto you. The area in Skyrim you were talking about is Blackreach, if I remember rightly. A fun playthrough, as always. Wish I hadn't got the giggles when seeing I was your 69th viewer.
Well done finding the underdark so soon. I would wait until about sixth level to go down there though. Priestess Gut never stood a chance, you smoked her. You should look for Karlach soon because you need a heavy hitter in the group. You two will get along famously 😁Although I think that Lea'zel has a crush on you 🤣 You don't need to create spell slots, just click the pink 'quickened spell' icon on the right to cast a spell as a bonus action. 'Twin spell' let's you cast one spell on two targets, but takes an action. So at the beginning of your turn you can hit Twin spell, cast a spell on two targets with your action, then hit Quickened spell and cast another spell with your bonus action.

Oh they sound like an absolutely lovely race. 🥲

"I really like everyone in our group. Except for Lae'Zel"
Lae'Zel flirts
"Mmmmhh.... well maybe I can cheat on Astarion" XD
I am a simple woman… 😔
Your narration is humorous, as always. I enjoy your episodes Miss.
Thank you so much!

Now THIS is what I wanted to do! Ugh, I shall try it next time. 🙌🏻 Thank you!

Astarion: says the nastiest, most dirty and abusive shit.
Femke: "That is the most romantic thing I've ever heard!" 😍
Par for the course. 😅
Can’t tell I have daddy issues right? 😂

I see we have the same humour LOL. Yeyeye I included an image of Blackreach when I said that! Maybe you missed it, but you’re totally on point! 💃🏼

HNGGGGG one day I shall find out how that system works in practice! 😤 I may need to get to Karlach before I’m able to smoke everyone. Let’s see!
@@fififemke Well, Kalach is definitely a smoke show 😂
@@fififemke The "create" actions let you trade back and forth between sorcery points and spell slots in case you need some and run out.
