Even better would be to have the Government on your side and have the experiments/cure created in some CIA Blacksite. That way you have a ton of fire power on standby. If you can't convince the Government to aid you and your priest buddies then just use the riches of the Vatican itself to acquire your own personal military and organize it so that all of this happens in a remote yet constantly surveilled location that is capable of being bombed into oblivion so that if the infections escapes you can nuke it.

the most realistic ending to a horror movie I've seen in awhile. nobody survives because everybody is trying to work together when they should be putting as much distance between themselves as possible. but as in real-life, when people are instructed to quarantine they drop their collective brain cells in a bucket and forget to think critically about their situation. and when all it takes is one person to get everyone killed there really is no real hope for surviving the night
To be fait , had they known it was a virus from the get go things would have been different (also not checking on every apt was a rookie mistake by the cops. For once the govt outside was clear about what to do and have them precise and useful instructions to survive)

Lock the main door, barricade it with heavy stuff like couches, drawers, whatever. Evacuate the frontmost room, lock myself in the door that's in the deepest. Lock all doors between this room and the main door. Make them all hard to break through. - Move all your supplies to this room. Fill buckets with water, any and all containers. Take stock of all your food items. Store any medical items you have. - Once done preparing, stfu. Phone is on silent, lights off or to the minimum and just bide my time. - Call any loved ones, send texts and let them know of what is happening here. - Ensure I have any improvised weapons although if they manage to breach all those layers of defense then it'll be a futile struggle. - Pray.

SPOILERS She was possessed until the 2nd movie which continue directly from the first, in that movie we do not know until the end that she is no longer in control until it's too late. Then when a rescue team arrives to get her (only seen in a flashback in the 4th movie) she transfers the possession to one of the rescue team. In that same movie we see her camera's hard drive being restored, which is how the footage would have been found. Plus in the second movie we start with helmet cams but move onto the same camera from the first film, showing that it still works and is able to have all footage used

I remember watching this movie in theaters when I was like... 16? Scared the living daylights out of me but it curiously also sparked my joy for horror movies.
I think the best way to survive would be just stay in a apartment (alone if possible or with someone you trust, no strangers). I mean, you can't go out (or you would be shoot) and you can't stay out because any noise would make them attack you, so just get into a apartment, close all the entries (including the vents) and let a message on the windows (and door if possible) so once the police and people outside check they would be able to see it.
Yeah I feel like if the police officer just told everyone to go back to their own homes and lock the doors and not come out until ordered, that would of solved the problem. If everyone was in their own homes and barricaded the door, no one could infect each other and everyone is safe. Then the police/military can come in and only have to deal with one family at a time.
SPOILERS Even if you managed to survive the events of the first and second films in the apartment (extremely unlikely as every room gets searched and if you were found you would be taken with a team of police who are destined to die) They send in a rescue squad that takes all the survivors to a quarantined boat in the middle of an ocean, and let's just say things don't go well and you would end up being turned into a zombie or managing to hide away, just for the entire ship to be detonated, so no matter what you do in these movies you are destined to die
Phone.... Use phone to tell your related or somebody that you're not bite or get physical touch. Show them your picture... Nevertheless it's quite impossible you'll get rescued cause to sending rescue team inside will be dangerous. They probably gonna explode the building instead of saving one person

Surviving Us would be impossible because you can get targeted by every single one of the doppelgangers if the girl main doppelganger. Actually, the camera could be really really useful. Just like rewinding footage and seeing things better and night vision lens so you could see in the dark
As a major introvert, I would've just locked myself in my/an apartment from the start. Hearing panicked screams and shouting outside would further convince me to stay inside/find a secure place and not get involved. I'd then quietly survive on whatever food I had in the apartment, I've already started saving tap water for bathing, and charging whatever devices I have on-hand, in-case the power goes out and affects the water pump. It's just normal response when you live in a natural disaster-prone country, any sign of a major storm outside and everyone goes doomsday prepping mode.
I have to admit, this is a film that I once couldn't sleep well for days after watching it as if it were a nightmare that couldn't be erased😂, and deserves to be considered one of the best horror films of its time✨
My guide on how to survive broken down. 1: Assess the situation. 2: Determine who is sick, scratched cut bitten or otherwise injured. 3: Quarantine all cut scratch bitten or injured. 4: Gather any possible weapons for defense. 5: Stay in a small vacant area. 6: Let CDC do their job and if your clean be let free. But inform them of infected that you have isolated and advise extreme caution. (If anyone has any suggestions to improve this guide pls comment) 😄
I think that's a really good guide but we would not have all this information at the beginning and a lot of people would not comply with the instructions.
I would have most likely have not left my room in the first place and once I heard all that screaming I would have braced my door then taken water and food and secured myself in my room not making any noise

I watched this back when I was 13 years old, this was probably one of the more scarier movies I've seen of its genre. It gave me nightmarss for weeks and I couldn't sleep properly. - Lock my doors the moment I hear commotion and screaming. F the outside people.
- Defense in depth. Lock the main door, barricade it with heavy stuff like couches, drawers, whatever. Evacuate the frontmost room, lock myself in the door that's in the deepest. Lock all doors between this room and the main door. Make them all hard to break through.
- Move all your supplies to this room. Fill buckets with water, any and all containers. Take stock of all your food items. Store any medical items you have.
- Once done preparing, stfu. Phone is on silent, lights off or to the minimum and just bide my time.
- Call any loved ones, send texts and let them know of what is happening here.
- Ensure I have any improvised weapons although if they manage to breach all those layers of defense then it'll be a futile struggle.
- Pray.

She was possessed until the 2nd movie which continue directly from the first, in that movie we do not know until the end that she is no longer in control until it's too late. Then when a rescue team arrives to get her (only seen in a flashback in the 4th movie) she transfers the possession to one of the rescue team. In that same movie we see her camera's hard drive being restored, which is how the footage would have been found. Plus in the second movie we start with helmet cams but move onto the same camera from the first film, showing that it still works and is able to have all footage used

I think the best way to survive would be just stay in a apartment (alone if possible or with someone you trust, no strangers). I mean, you can't go out (or you would be shoot) and you can't stay out because any noise would make them attack you, so just get into a apartment, close all the entries (including the vents) and let a message on the windows (and door if possible) so once the police and people outside check they would be able to see it.
Yeah I feel like if the police officer just told everyone to go back to their own homes and lock the doors and not come out until ordered, that would of solved the problem. If everyone was in their own homes and barricaded the door, no one could infect each other and everyone is safe. Then the police/military can come in and only have to deal with one family at a time.

Even if you managed to survive the events of the first and second films in the apartment (extremely unlikely as every room gets searched and if you were found you would be taken with a team of police who are destined to die) They send in a rescue squad that takes all the survivors to a quarantined boat in the middle of an ocean, and let's just say things don't go well and you would end up being turned into a zombie or managing to hide away, just for the entire ship to be detonated, so no matter what you do in these movies you are destined to die
Phone.... Use phone to tell your related or somebody that you're not bite or get physical touch. Show them your picture... Nevertheless it's quite impossible you'll get rescued cause to sending rescue team inside will be dangerous. They probably gonna explode the building instead of saving one person

Also try to convince one of the seemingly uninfected families to allow to hide out in their apartment.
Step 2: Try to create a makeshift bite resistant armor out of available materials (everyone thinks about their weapon in a zombie apocalypse, almost no one thinks of armor)

As a major introvert, I would've just locked myself in my/an apartment from the start. Hearing panicked screams and shouting outside would further convince me to stay inside/find a secure place and not get involved. I'd then quietly survive on whatever food I had in the apartment, I've already started saving tap water for bathing, and charging whatever devices I have on-hand, in-case the power goes out and affects the water pump. It's just normal response when you live in a natural disaster-prone country, any sign of a major storm outside and everyone goes doomsday prepping mode.
I have to admit, this is a film that I once couldn't sleep well for days after watching it as if it were a nightmare that couldn't be erased😂, and deserves to be considered one of the best horror films of its time✨

My guide on how to survive broken down.
1: Assess the situation.
2: Determine who is sick, scratched cut bitten or otherwise injured.
3: Quarantine all cut scratch bitten or injured.
4: Gather any possible weapons for defense.
5: Stay in a small vacant area.
6: Let CDC do their job and if your clean be let free. But inform them of infected that you have isolated and advise extreme caution.

I think that's a really good guide but we would not have all this information at the beginning and a lot of people would not comply with the instructions.
I would have most likely have not left my room in the first place and once I heard all that screaming I would have braced my door then taken water and food and secured myself in my room not making any noise
