Edited: Fintiso asked me if I wouldn’t mind putting a non-affiliated link to the knife into description because it is on sale and I agreed. It dropped from $54 to $48. If they are trying to get our attention by lowering the price, I’m all for it! I’ve been asked to review this knife by Fintiso - a new Amazon knife brand. Instead of flicking the knife in your face 200 times, I decided to share my experience with starting a wet fire. Share your thoughts with the community and the company please. I’m sure your constructive feedback will lead to change from good to outstanding design of the Falcon.
I have stayed away from this brand because of failures I kept making up in my head. Not the blade so much but how it’s built. I didn’t think the pivot would last unless you use it lightly. I think a folder with something in titanium with D shaped pivots and posts but the costs associated are far as a purchase is much greater also. I use fixed blades for this type of stuff. Great video once again CB!! Dave
I think it’s great that you pushed this blade a bit harder, looks like an ok backup. I used my AD20.5 to make an emergency fire, it did the job very well, but it’s reached its limit. The idea that folders can be multiple use ‘survival/outdoor blades is contentious and worth exploring.
Well, while I spend exuberant amounts of money on folding knives, I only have 4-5 fixed blades that exceed $200 price tag. 4 Benchmades and one Microtech.
I like stainless fixed blade, what would be your recommendation for a knife tough and useful like glock knife but that comes in stainless steel. I was thinking mora garberg but please give me few more recommendations. Thank you

I love your comment about getting deer meat with out having to sit in a tree . I also trade sharpening services for deer meat !
Any folding knife should be this capable at the very least, in my opinion.
I can definitely cut a feather stick with a folder; but I’ve broken 2 benchmade folders with very light battoning.
Which folders ?

What do you think of Bradford guardian fixed blade for this?
Well, while I spend exuberant amounts of money on folding knives, I only have 4-5 fixed blades that exceed $200 price tag. 4 Benchmades and one Microtech.
Looseness of pivot and thumb studs is very disappointing. Would annoy me enough to stop carrying it.

Batoning with a folding knife fully extended? Doesn’t seem like a wise usage.

At times when benchmade , spyderco and microtech are struggling to make lockup solid that lasts , what can we expect from this ...
Spyderco is struggling with lockup? On which models?
All backlocks ...
