That made me remember a random thing from DICE Battlefront II's campaign; a hidden room or trove of the Emperor's that had a door only Force Users could open, and Luke did the opening. Force Doors are canon, is the important takeaway.
Dude I loved force unleashed one and two. It was my childhood Man. I was really bummed out when I found out that Lucas arts was going to make a third but it got canceled. There is such a huge cliffhanger in the second game it hurts. Lol 😆

I can’t Believe I’m saying this lol 😆 but I actually like the new one more than the original because I can play as a light side Anakin Skywalker(Which is what I wanted in the original). The main downside is that EA cut the live service and we didn’t get the last bit of content, which looked awesome. I really enjoyed fallen order. still do. I’m having a blast with the Lego skywalker saga. Now they’re going to do a complete remastered a.k.a. remake of KOTOR. The movies were a disappointment but so far the games have been fun. I still do miss games like Unleashed, Outcast and Jedi academy. I played those games like crazy when I was in high school 14 years ago. Man time flies.

The Starkiller cloning project was perhaps one of the most evil things Vader did. Thousands of malformed clones with the Force born into a world of constant pain and fear. They meant nothing to Vader. They were acceptable casualties to reach his ultimate goal.
It didn't really make sense. If he could make that many force sensitive clones, then why didn't he clone himself for parts to fully heal himself or just have clones of himself for an apprentice.
@@FirstKingPotato A few points for that is that A) it would never get unnoticed by the Emperor if he tried that, he knew all along about Starkiller in the first game and just toyed with Vader right until the end. There's also a matter that it was revealed with plans for the 3rd game that Vader allowed himself to be defeated so he could be taken to an imperial base and destroy it so the entire cloning proccess was probably the Emperor's plan all along too. B) The game does a check here to show that the cloning process is imperfect and creates mindless drones not proper clones with a chance being one in a billion to get a proper one (Although you could argue the clone we're plaing in TFU 2 is also imperfect), if Starkiller clones were mindless killer machines because of his emotions, imagine how dangerous would be Vader clones with all his hate and power. C) Vader is always portrayed as incredibly arrogant and dominating, I doubt he would ever consider cloning himself and creating someone that could rival both his power and position. Makes sense to me tbh but there is also the option that none of the above are true and it was a mess just like 90% of the EU canon.

And if he cloned new organs and skin tissue to become fully functional without his suit, Palpatine would be pretty mad at him. Also, I think the pain he feels constantly feeds his dark side energy. And also the suit is styling as all hell.

For two, and tying into the first point, a clone like that would be unfathomably dangerous if it ever went rogue (like, say, the entire premise of 2 major SW games, perhaps?) due to Anakin's whole special snowflake status. And besides of which, Anakin's personality simply just isn't very suitable; the entire idea is a disaster waiting to happen, far more than even the whole Galen-clone project was. There are a MASSIVE number of problems with TFU 2, with the whole idea of being able to easily mass-clone incredibly powerful Force-Users being a very big one that breaks the rest of the franchise over its knee, and there are any number of things to criticize with it, but 'why didn't Vader clone himself?' is, uh, very much not one of the routes to go. The whole "bleeding them evil" thing really doesn't make sense when you think about it. That would mean that the Sith would have to kill a Jedi unarmed in order to take their crystal and bleed it. Think about that; Jedi dying for over a thousand years and their lightsabers being stolen, and the Jedi Council never even noticed a pattern? The Sith were supposed to be too weak to go up against Jedi around the time of their supposed extinction, how were they suddenly capable of killing Jedi while unarmed and somehow keeping their presence a secret?

@@ichthus2162 The Sith (referred to as the Brotherhood of Darkness at the time of their extinction) had grown weak because a group of weak Sith would gang up on the master, kill him and take his place, only for the same thing to happen to them. That's why Darth Bane invented the Rule of Two; to ensure the Sith would only get stronger per master. The Jedi could sense the Dark Side as well as potential danger, so any attempt on their lives would be thwarted. And if the Force was used to kill a Jedi, then the Jedi would know it was a Sith Lord who did it, which defeats the whole point of why the Sith were in hiding.
Who said they needed to kill a Jedi to get their crystals? They could get new ones from the mines, if they were jedi previously like Dooku they can just bleed their own, they could get them from Jedi killed by someone else, there's many ways to get them. And this would be a crystal every couple decades as new apprentices are brought up, it's not like some serial killer case where a lightsaber is going missing every Friday at 8 for the past year. And even beyond that, they could literally just reuse the crystal from the old master if needed.
I think my biggest issue with this game was the lack of planets. There was Kamino (twice), the second planet, the Repbulic cruiser, and Dagobah if you wanna count it but I don’t
There was another planet in the book (Malistare) but there wasn't any combat so that's likely when the game didn't have it. I didn't mind the lack of planets tbh.

I miss games like this.......it's fun, you feel overpowered near the middle of the game, has good animations and magnificent ragdoll physics......I miss the euphoria physics engine.......when I first saw it when i was a kid I thought it was gonna be the new norm in videos games but I haven't seen a game have it besides RDR2

I remember really liking Force Unleashed 2 when I was younger (though not as much as I liked the first) but wow, was it bad. That said, when the studio only had like 9 months to make it, I can't really blame the devs.
If you can make a game like Unleashed in just 9 months. Wow. I mean, it’s playable, has no bugs, decent water effects in Kamino, nice lightning effects, etc. It’s not a 10/10, but wow, 9 month to that to a game I think it earned a 7/10
It's way more refined than the first in terms of graphical fidelity and gameplay. It's just too short. If it were a few hours longer it'd be a great game. I mean it almost didn't get made at all. LucasArts was very unpredictable when it came to what projects and franchises they'd finish and this game nearly got the chopping block despite George Lucas having all the money in the world to pour into it.

I love how when you upgraded your skills and looked at the Lightning power you had 18650 points (since 18650 is a type of Lithium battery :D). For a second there, I thought this was an Easter egg.
Spoiler: You got the good ending by not trying to kill vader, had you clicked the button to try you would have been stabbed in the back by another secret clone despite being literally surrounded by people and not hearing a single combat or anything, that was his real apprentice and died before you could kill him
What i dont get about that ending(besides the fact no one else saw the darkside clone show up) is where the hell was this secret clone the entire time our galen was out decimating vader's soldiers? And why bother trying to turn our galen back to the darkside, when vader's got a perfectly darkside clone of his own on standby? Unless it was more of a last resort situation, which is still kinda questionable in my opinion. But then again, im no story writer(even though i aspire to be one day) so maybe theres just something im not seeing.

It was rushed and was too short. Cloning Galen kind of invalidated his sacrifice, and it doesn't make sense the Empire would retry a strategy that bit in the ass in first place. Death Star ll not withstanding.
Story is bad at the end, the destruction is turned down a bit, enemy variety is sorely lacking. The cutscene featuring a ton of EU only starfighters, transports, and capital ships was sick though. And it's like 4 hours long.
I read the book on TFU2. It was really good, it gave perspective into the mind of Starkiller and how he thought, his motivations and such as the events happened. Especially the visions he got.
"Get something to hold him" Like bro that's Darth Vader you planning on locking him in a cage made from the flesh of Jesus, ain't nothing you've got thats stopping Darth Vader from immediately breaking out and pulling a "all I'm surrounded by is fear and dead men" on you.

Or use electricity based weapons because he's basically completely defenseless against those on purpose so palpatine can mess him up with force lightning Or just disassemble the suit, only leaving him with the life support system

Yeah part 2 was focused so hard on visuals that they forgot to put the gameplay in. Ending dialogue is basically nothing and stupid but its so well portrayed by Starkiller's actor that you can still get heavily invested. Dark Side ending was weird though, like they didnt thought that you will actually press it xD

This game came out in like 6 months or something. I played through both and the first game is definitely better. I wonder how this game woulda turned out if this game had actually time to develop. The combat was very fluid was definitely the peak of the game.

The Wii/PSP versions are better games. Completely different level design and gameplay mechanics. More story content and levels also. The first Force Unleashed is coming to Switch soon based off of the Wii version.

Worse level design, generic artistic design that makes the enviroments look as if they would fit in any other science fiction game, shorter campaign, and a bad story with no reason to happen instead of the continuation with sith lord Starkiller.

The whole "bleeding them evil" thing really doesn't make sense when you think about it. That would mean that the Sith would have to kill a Jedi unarmed in order to take their crystal and bleed it. Think about that; Jedi dying for over a thousand years and their lightsabers being stolen, and the Jedi Council never even noticed a pattern? The Sith were supposed to be too weak to go up against Jedi around the time of their supposed extinction, how were they suddenly capable of killing Jedi while unarmed and somehow keeping their presence a secret?

then again what made u think they were unarmed while killing them? They might have used a lightsaber with 'jedi' colors, and also their presence was not a secret but they hid as well as Taliban in their enviorment.
@@ichthus2162 The Sith (referred to as the Brotherhood of Darkness at the time of their extinction) had grown weak because a group of weak Sith would gang up on the master, kill him and take his place, only for the same thing to happen to them. That's why Darth Bane invented the Rule of Two; to ensure the Sith would only get stronger per master.
The Jedi could sense the Dark Side as well as potential danger, so any attempt on their lives would be thwarted. And if the Force was used to kill a Jedi, then the Jedi would know it was a Sith Lord who did it, which defeats the whole point of why the Sith were in hiding.
Who said they needed to kill a Jedi to get their crystals? They could get new ones from the mines, if they were jedi previously like Dooku they can just bleed their own, they could get them from Jedi killed by someone else, there's many ways to get them. And this would be a crystal every couple decades as new apprentices are brought up, it's not like some serial killer case where a lightsaber is going missing every Friday at 8 for the past year. And even beyond that, they could literally just reuse the crystal from the old master if needed.
I think my biggest issue with this game was the lack of planets. There was Kamino (twice), the second planet, the Repbulic cruiser, and Dagobah if you wanna count it but I don’t
There was another planet in the book (Malistare) but there wasn't any combat so that's likely when the game didn't have it.

The other planet is Cato Neimoidia if anyone was curious btw
They had a year to develope it so it was extremely rushed think the story was made in under a month before production started

I miss games like this.......it's fun, you feel overpowered near the middle of the game, has good animations and magnificent ragdoll physics......I miss the euphoria physics engine.......when I first saw it when i was a kid I thought it was gonna be the new norm in videos games but I haven't seen a game have it besides RDR2

I remember really liking Force Unleashed 2 when I was younger (though not as much as I liked the first) but wow, was it bad. That said, when the studio only had like 9 months to make it, I can't really blame the devs.

If you can make a game like Unleashed in just 9 months. Wow. I mean, it’s playable, has no bugs, decent water effects in Kamino, nice lightning effects, etc. It’s not a 10/10, but wow, 9 month to that to a game I think it earned a 7/10
They suffered worse than Obsidian when they made KOTOR 2 and Fallout NV (The most popular fallout game by the community)
It's way more refined than the first in terms of graphical fidelity and gameplay. It's just too short. If it were a few hours longer it'd be a great game. I mean it almost didn't get made at all. LucasArts was very unpredictable when it came to what projects and franchises they'd finish and this game nearly got the chopping block despite George Lucas having all the money in the world to pour into it.

I love how when you upgraded your skills and looked at the Lightning power you had 18650 points (since 18650 is a type of Lithium battery :D). For a second there, I thought this was an Easter egg.

You got the good ending by not trying to kill vader, had you clicked the button to try you would have been stabbed in the back by another secret clone despite being literally surrounded by people and not hearing a single combat or anything, that was his real apprentice and died before you could kill him
What i dont get about that ending(besides the fact no one else saw the darkside clone show up) is where the hell was this secret clone the entire time our galen was out decimating vader's soldiers?
And why bother trying to turn our galen back to the darkside, when vader's got a perfectly darkside clone of his own on standby? Unless it was more of a last resort situation, which is still kinda questionable in my opinion.
But then again, im no story writer(even though i aspire to be one day) so maybe theres just something im not seeing.

It was rushed and was too short. Cloning Galen kind of invalidated his sacrifice, and it doesn't make sense the Empire would retry a strategy that bit in the ass in first place. Death Star ll not withstanding.
Story is bad at the end, the destruction is turned down a bit, enemy variety is sorely lacking. The cutscene featuring a ton of EU only starfighters, transports, and capital ships was sick though. And it's like 4 hours long.

Stormtrooper: "Shit you right." *Casually jumps out window*

It was really good, it gave perspective into the mind of Starkiller and how he thought, his motivations and such as the events happened.
Especially the visions he got.

As it has been said many times in the comments, I loved these games. Grew up playing them and they were always my favorite Star Wars console games, other than KOTOR. Sam Witwer is great.

Yeah part 2 was focused so hard on visuals that they forgot to put the gameplay in. Ending dialogue is basically nothing and stupid but its so well portrayed by Starkiller's actor that you can still get heavily invested. Dark Side ending was weird though, like they didnt thought that you will actually press it xD

This game came out in like 6 months or something. I played through both and the first game is definitely better. I wonder how this game woulda turned out if this game had actually time to develop. The combat was very fluid was definitely the peak of the game.

@@Sshok3r yeah... Actually those feats are entirely possible, especially with Palpatine's fleet destroying scene in the Sequel Trilogy. Anakin Skywalker at the peak of his power could totally rip down a star destroyer, and even then, it's not like Galen Marek ripped it down all at once. Bet the gravity of Raxus Prime helped too.
