Yea, but I think it is better that he's not a regular. It could get old and stale if we saw him every episode. I definitely like the visits to Dean's, though, and they should be periodic for sure.
If you think you miss the Daytona you'll miss this Camaro much more. This is something you put your own heart into and your personal touches to make it this amazing beast you see today. And did the most expensive interior you could. Life is too short to not keep some of those fantastic things that you've done. Put some cutouts to turn on the leg pipes but run something that will exhaust out the back when you don't want to be gassed out. That seems like a easy solution to fix that issue. Tuck it up to where it can't be seen from 20 ft away from the car keep the aesthetics of the leg pipes but have a total sleeper exhaust when you do want to take it home and not wake the neighborhood.
The sound of that Camaro engine is the epitome of American muscle cars. Well done on that build. Interior is the icing on the cake. Great seeing Dean and Sandy again.
Dean is amazing, he has really good sense of humor. The Camaro looks awesome! Do full exhaust and use the boom tubes as cutouts. Then you can have best of both worlds!

Years ago when I owned a 1970 Shelby GT350 convertible Gary Patterson showed up with a reproduction aluminum bodied FIA Shelby Cobra that was simple BUT just pure eye candy! He said it just had a Mexican 289 but also a modern day electronic Weber fuel injection system(looked liked the classic Weber setup but without the headaches). I only mention it to you because back in the day,the race car drivers who drove the Cobras preferred the lightweight 289 as opposed to the later 427 which in their words made it nose heavy/handle like a pig! I’m 6’3 and couldn’t fit in the cockpit but I’m telling you…that 289 with that Weber setup made a glorious sound that I still haven’t forgotten to this day. You can take from that what you will. The aluminum body Cobras are expensive/gorgeous but fyi…even Gary Patterson warned me not to put too much pressure/weight on the aluminum doors because they would bend easily! Basically…you’re traveling in a 11-12 second aluminum can!
Id love to see a modern, carbon fiber body reproduction Cobra. With a stiff tube chassis, fully independent suspension, adjustable or electronic/adaptive coilovers, big brakes/tires, with something exotic for the engine, & maybe even a Vette transaxle to balance out the weight distribution. Basically a resto mod, autocross build focused on handling, chassis balance & light weight.🤘 Reminds me of Hot Rod magazine around 15yrs ago.. where they showed 2 insane Cobras almost entirely built from billet CNC aluminum parts, with chrome finished bodies in raw aluminum & raw bronze/copper iirc. I believe they were $500k each back in the early 2000's.😬😅 (Edit): My memory was correct. They were Kirkham Motorsports Cobras w/ chrome bodies & fully billet aluminum chassis', pushrod suspension etc. The pictures are insane. Also: Classic Recreations made similar Cobras with carbon bodies.👍
@ The Kirkhams were the ones built by hand in a former MiG fighter factory using an English wheel etc. They were all aluminum and stunning! I’d imagine that they’d cost a fortune to build today. I went to Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale and was able to squeeze into a Superformance Daytona Coupe. The rep said if I thought that was tight, the GT40 was a coffin by comparison. A Pantera owner was also kind enough to let me TRY and fit inside his car…wasn’t gonna happen! The Cobras were beautiful but their extreme power to weight ratio was challenging at best to keep on the road. I believe Throttle House had an episode regarding how much of a handful they can be. It’s beyond my financial reach but I love that certain classics(Dodge Charger)are being made out of carbon fiber. The only way I could enjoy an aluminum Cobra would be to hang it on my garage wall Hard Rock Cafe style due to my height. They say that as certain age groups get older, the market/demand subsides a bit but it’s still expensive. I still remember Shelbys and Superbirds being parked on the street in the 80’s before prices went bananas!😁
The zx4rr was pure 🔥. I've owned 2 of the very early versions. A 1989 and a 1995! First one was the lime green and second the same livery with red, blue and white. He isn't wrong the 400cc engine is amazing, fast, super nimble and a great 1st super bike.

Hey Emelia, you could tell Dean to build a facade on the front of his house to make it LOOK like a 2 story and then maybe he could get around the height limitation on the garage!😉 Really like Sandy's new bike. I've been a fan of the smaller crotch rockets pretty much since the 1970's! I love these episodes with Dean. He's a real character! I think he fell in love with your Camaro on that first rip.😂 It definitely needs to have the pipes out the back! The boom tubes are a cool novelty, but CO poisoning is no joke especially if you had people in the back.💀 Anyway, that P4 sure needs some TLC. You'll figure a way to get it out from under him eventually!😉👍👍👍
Please be careful Sandy , I own a BMW touring bike and I’m no longer comfortable riding it in the DFW metroplex so I bought a new KTM enduro bike so for now I’ll stick to the dirt. Also I’m so impressed with the Camero ! What a monster I hope you get the ford back
Don't worry about the Daytona. Build a Cobra. Look up "Absolute Pace" to see a different take on the 427 S/C-semi-monocoque, aluminium chassis; double wishbone suspension all-round; choice of motors like LS3 or the Godzilla. They're an Australian company, but they export LHD versions.
Yesssss!!! Dean, Sandy... so much to love in this vid. Maybe you do a "lake pipe" setup with your camaro exhaust? with a secondary standard exhaust, and cap the nascar pipes? p.s. you really need to find some land & do a "barndominium"
Dean needs to be at least an occasional guest on the channel. He has a subtle sense of humor that sneaks up and ambushes you unexpectedly. His experience and older generation outlook would give a greater depth to the channel!
Yeah I can relate to the exhaust stench. After I added high flow cats and headers I can't take the top off my C5. I enjoyed driving with the top off and miss it. But I enjoy the headers more 🙂

SANDY!!! And wait, “what’s a flux capacitor”???? OMG haha…. Y’all need to do the trilogy marathon as a team…
I think it all starts with Emelia's truly incredible eyes. So I think its eyes to her never-ending smile and happiness to tons of success.
Dean Da Man 🙌🏼, He Definitely lets you fix em up and then entices you with something else to get them back all finished ✅ and ready to enjoy 😁
Hell Ya Sandy!!! Last year I pickup up a 2022 ktm 390 duke. Then switched it up to a 2023 Indian Scout Bobber.
Love the “E-Crew”
Dean is such a neat guy. Love the Camaro. Just don't breathe when stopped.....
I love Dean, you guys should collab on the P4, instead of buying it, build it with him in his new shop as a side project.
Dean and Sandy!! Happy Friday!!
Excited for Dean’s workshop!!
Super happy to see Sandy again
Great to see Sandman back and Smiling, Shall we get into some Motorcycles ?
Let's Gooo !
But I enjoy the headers more 🙂
Dean is freaking HILARIOUS
Good catch up with Dean. He is a character. Nice bike Sandy. 👍
I love this Daytona. The sound of the engine, the exhaust. And taking the steering wheel away when you park up 🤣
