I was scouring the internet trying to figure out how to get a piped edge on some backpack straps and came across your video. I love what you are doing! It’s a brilliant method and creates gorgeous straps. I made my double straps and am very happy with the results. Next I have to make some straps like yours; three layers of colorful fabrics. This is the perfect solution for getting a more comfortable and stylish strap. Thank you for sharing the video.
I make my strips using this sandwich method. But I’ve always sandwiched 2 pieces together that are the same size. I never thought to stagger them slightly less narrow as the layers go on. I love how you did that! So thanks so much for this! I will help the purse making come along so nicely.
Thank you so much! I knew there was a way to do it in one line, but I couldn't figure it out in my head I have a blind brain, which means that I cannot visualize it. I needed to see an example that I could copy on paper & keep for reference.
