The other camera is still working fine with the original firmware so i didn't upgrade it. Both are hooked up to wildgame innovation cameras...
I have this unit and it seems to work pretty well. One concern is having squirrels or other critters chewing that external cable. I've had that happen with mounting external flashes, external batteries, and such. The thing I have found that will absolutely deter this problem is wrapping the exposed wire in duct tape. For some reason the critters will not chew on it. Since I started doing that I've never had an external wire damaged again.
Thanks much for doing this video. Was done very well. Did not know about this until coming across this video. Have two cell cameras and five non-cell cameras. Gonna buy one of these units!
No. You pick a Verizon camera or an AT&T nationwide camera, which ever get the best service in that area and download a app to your phone and it connects to it.
I bought two of this but it didn’t work. It took few pictures when I was beside the caller link but when I left it didn’t took any picture or transfer data to my phone. When send email to tech support they told format your ad card which’s I did it and also ask me to update firmware but I didn’t I returned to Cabelas.

Don't!!! Bought 6 of them and was so excited I got them all out same day. 2 worked for a week and then just dropped service from a 100% reading to 0-25% and won't send pictures, 3 set pics while being set up but then never sent anymore, and 1 never worked period...I'm very disappointed in product and in myself for not doing more research as I am normally a nut about checking reviews before any purchase and have since found that more than not have the same issue I've had
App is free. And you have to pay a subscription after the first month to get them to send pics to your phone unless you just stay with the free package which is only 100 free photos a month
How much does it cost for it to send to your phone a month I know most cellular cameras you have to pay for the pictures and I don’t think you should have to you buy the camera and put it out and get pictures and then have to pay to see them just me but that’s not right
Most spypoint cameras you get 100 free pictures per month, the camera continues take pictures and saves them on the SD card even though it's not transmitting them past the limit. You can pay $4 per month annually for 250 pictures a month, $7 for 1000 per month, and $10 per month annually for unlimited photos
Do your self a favor, try to give Spypoint a call for service or ask a question. After being on hold for half an hour you will see why there are so many bad reviews towards Spypoint products...I was told I would receive a refund when they received their products back it's been 3 weeks and I haven't received my refund yet even though I obtained an RMA...I will never buy a Spypoint product again.

When I had problem with a camera they were willing to try and fix until they found out it was out of warrenty then they wanted nothing to do with it. Until the time it was disclosed we had emailed back and forth 3-4 times after they found out about the warrenty they stopped corresponding. When I called and finally actually got someone to talk to it was a receptionist, she talked to techs after I explained problem and she informed me they were busy and would get in contact with me. That has been 5 months ago. However until the camera failed to power up I had no issues with them. Lots of luck when you need help out of warrenty.
