    Never having used a trail cam ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx2sTDdZXomuxedMg_HothfjSXjR3rpPkA before, I was very impressed with the quality of the images and videos. The sensitivity of the camera can be adjusted as well as the length of video recordings. Once I found the sweet spot, I was getting great clips of deer and other animals almost every day. I was worried about battery life but have been running off the same 4 aa batteries for over a month. The SD card is easy to remove and connect to a computer. I have a Mac, and the AVI files open natively in QuickTime and are easy to save and share. This is a great, budget-friendly trail cam.

    What would be best for leaving behind and it streaming on yourube

    • @Trailcampro
      @Trailcampro  2 роки тому

      Thanks for watching. We really don't have anything that would be capable of streaming all the time. The closest we are going to have is the Spartan GoLive and that camera will stream to your phone via an app. It will not stream to UA-cam. You might try and google live streaming UA-cam cameras and see if you come up with anything. Thanks again!

    I am using right now Tatacam XP Pro for farm security. It does a great job except for one failing. The picture is not quite clear enough to read vehicle licence plates. Is there a cellular Trail Cam that will give a higher quality image that will give a clear picture of a licence plate?

    • @FranklinNewhart
      @FranklinNewhart 2 роки тому

      This is removing the card from the camera and downloading the pics to computer and enlarging the location of the plate. I realize what is sent to the phone is lower res.

    Is there an issue being lte is being a pain and 5g 5ge 5g+ is spotty and many phasing in and out are causing poor overal signal? Past 3 months my 4spypoints show all good 1 sends a pic some days. Its funny the status. 2 of them are shut off and no batteries. Thanks

    Do any of these cameras have a live video feed to your iPhone so you can see what the camera is seeing, at any time? The Browning looks great but doesn't have that feature.

    I have an odd situation as I am not a hunter. I'm wanting one of these wireless cellular trail cams to oversee a home I'm having built in the woods of the Ozark Mountains. I now live 600 miles away and I just want to see progress on the build on a daily basis. Do the cameras have a trigger that I can activate from an app to take a photo or do they have a time/date setting that I can set say to shoot a picture at 8am and 5pm daily? Is anything like that possible at all? Oh, and I would want something sent to a cloud and retrieved on my iPhone because I will not be in position to pull data cads out of the camera very often at all.

      Thanks for watching. I would take a look at the Ridgetec Lookout. You can program it for time-lapse and it will take a photo even with no heat or motion to trigger it. You can also program the operating hours on it so that would cover your 8-5. The photos will be sent to an app on your phone and you can access them from a web portal as well. Check out the review and let us know if you have any other questions. www.trailcampro.com/collections/ridgetec-trail-cameras/products/ridgetec-lookout-4g-lte

    Just found this video! So a couple of questions….1) what is the difference between the Browning Defender Wireless and Browning Defender Wireless Pro Scout? Which one are you rating better and why? 2) with past cellular camera usage, all I get are lo-res thumbnails. On 2 models I have owned, I could request a HD image upload, but most times, between requesting and receiving the HD image, it could take anywhere from 30 minutes to 24 hours (sometimes I’d never receive the HD image). My cell signal is good where my cameras are located. So the question is with the Bushnell Defender Wireless Pro Scout and the Reconyx Hyperfire cellular camera do these cameras send lo-res thumbnails initially? And can you request, for a fee I’m sure, a HD image? And for each camera, what is the latency between HD image request and HD image received?

    • @Trailcampro
      @Trailcampro  3 роки тому

      Kelton. Thanks for the comment. The Browning we are referring to is the Browning Defender Wireless Pro Scout. The Browning Defender Wireless was their first cellular camera. It took 16AA batteries and the battery life was not very good on it. The Pro Scout gets great battery life, takes good photos, and is easy to use. They are going to send a lower resolution photo by default. You can request HD images on most cellular cameras these days. It will not typically upload them until it talks to the network again. You can set the Reconyx to always upload the HD image but it does take 10 photos from your plan every time you do an HD photo. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions please let us know.

      I've accumulated several Spypoints and you are correct they have a high failure rate, but a 2 year warranty. However my experience with customer service so far has not been good - obiously foriegn call/chat center and they were not very willing to honor the warranty on my first and only claim. I've got a couple more that need repair/replacement - will have to see how the process goes on those units, but I'm not optomistic.
