Edit: also most of the big figures that Sentry collaborated with early on are already established or will likely be established at some stage in the not too distant future. We’ve already got Spider-Man, the Hulk and Doctor Strange.
I don't think Keanu has the physicality for the sentry. Being a superman analog they'll probably pick someone with a similar build to Cavill or Chris Hemsworth. Not necessarily as massive as them, but same general build. Also i think Keanu is too old for the sentry. But he could still do the conflicted/Void part well
Like Nando brought up in another video they can just do a one off movie with Sentry since his whole thing is he is the hero and villain. As long as he isn't aware of his power the evil version of him doesn't exist. At the end everyone's memory is wiped and Sentry is gone again
Before: He should play either Johnny Blaze, Mephisto, maybe Mr. Sinister After: I hadn't considered Beyonder, but that's perfect. Not a fan of Nightcrawler, I think they gotta get younger actors for the X-Men.
Mephisto or Beyonder. Not only are those roles perfect for him, but these are characters that will have significance when they are introduced in the mcu. This will bring Keanu to the spotlight nicely.
I'm trying to decide if I'm impressed that Nando didn't once mention that Silver Surfer already has a direct connection to the Matrix films, too -- having been played by Lawrence Fishburne.
My pitch is that they do the MCU in three parts: start with the infinity saga, move to something with Kang but during the second part you build up doom. At the end of the second part you explode the multiverse and doom makes battleworld. Then, you’ve got your last part in which you can explore battleworld and have it all come together in a final battle bigger than anything anyone has ever seen
I struggle to comprehend what this whole thing is going to look like by, say, 2030. If they take 10ish years per saga with a total of 3 sagas, then they would still be making these movies by 2040. If Secret Wars spans a few years during the 2030’s, then I wonder about them getting Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans and whoever else back to play multiverse variants of their characters.
I feel like he could also be the Sentry, would love to see him in the role. Namor and The Beyonder are my favorites from the video I would like to see him as.
Many don't realize Keanu Reeves is a very serious & dedicated martial artist. Starting with his role as Neo in The Matrix movies , Keanu's training has improved & his stills has sharpen in other action pack 📽️ like John Wick
Before: Johnny Blaze After: Silver Surfer, or Beta Ray Bill if they want to go for a smaller role for him. I think Keanu would be perfect for BRB, even though you wouldn't get that iconic Keanu look.
The fact that his name is Johnny is a huge plus. Keanu has been all but typecast into roles whose first name is John or Jonathan, Johnny, etc. Edit: did not realize this would be addressed 😅
Of all of these suggestions the one that makes the most sense to me is Norman Osborne. I think if you've got Keanu's face, you don't want to plaster it with too much prosthetics, you want him to be able to be Osborne for a while before he dons the Green Goblin suit. Similar to how they did the Vulture with Michael Keaton - they gave Keaton enough space to act, because he's a great actor - so I think you'd want to do the same for Keanu.
Before: Punisher (I know about the Netflix series) Ghost Rider After: never really thought about the X-men, but Mr. Sinister and nightcrawler sound amazing. Michael Korvac would have been amazing, and I love the idea of Adam warlock for him. My absolute favorite out of all of your suggestions is The Silver Surfer.
I think keanu is too "clean" for the punisher. It's a john wick esque character, but on a more in-depth level they function very differently. John wick is meticulous, incredibly skilled and virtually always in control. We hardly even see him get hurt in the movies, and if we do it's often on his terms (like stabbing himself fighting viggo). Meanwhile the punisher is just a brawler. He gets beat up over and over and over again, and him enduring that and still persevering in his quest is what makes the character. And I think that's a vibe keanu doesnt fit.
@@ZeeDrakon very well put. I see what you mean there. Plus John wick is a little more low key. He’s more of a myth, or a legend. The punisher is just an unhinged force of nature. He’s not hiding anything. He’s out in the open and you get what you expect from Frank’s character.
Before: Gambit, The Silver Surfer, and Cyclops (if he’s okay with a long-term contract) After: Love the sound of your pics, especially Beyonder and Ghost Rider. The Silver Surfer is 100% my top pick for him imo, such cosmic gravitas but also humility and kindness feels perfect for Keanu. Also the Surfer is one of my all-time favourite comic book characters so I’m biased
I fan theoried back in the Civil War days Norman would be introduced into the MCU as a rival to Stark. Having Peter Parker shifting from Osborne to Stark as a mentor would've been fun to watch.
I definitely don’t think he’s right fit for night crawler, I’ve always thought Raimi Malek would be perfect. That being said, before I always thought Ghost Rider would be the best role for him, but I had never considered Mr. Sinister, that’s perfect
Before: Sentry After: Also Sentry, but, OK, Silver Surfer, too. I just feel like so many of these you're just looking for similarities with his previous characters, and I think he's better than that. He is honestly one of the most gifted physical actors I've ever seen, and so something that allowed him to really use his body would be amazing.
Before: Ghost-Rider; Namor* & Mephisto After: Still those three, but also The Beyonder; Dracula & Mr. Sinister * There's been rumours that Keanu has been talking to Kevin Feige on multiple occasions, but they didn't have the right role for him yet, so maybe he's already been cast as Namor but they just haven't announced it yet.
@@jacobjogagu4571 He rejected that role probably They offered him moon Knight, kraven the hunter too I think he would be perfect as ghost rider, beyonder
There's a key thing that could link him to Ghost Rider and you didn't mention it: He absolutely loves bikes. He even owns a company that makes them. Imagine this exchange: "Keanu we have this movie where you are a cool demon guy riding a bike" "I'm in".
Silver surfer was always my pick, because I thought about this before, with Nathaniel Essex and Namor actually also being in my top five. However I somehow completely forgot about Johnny blaze, and I never even considered the beyonder. I think possibly for a next one, do Leonardo DiCaprio. My fancast for him honestly is Mephisto, or possibly Nightmare (which were the other two for my top five for Keanu Reeves).
I had always thought he'd make a great Dr. Strange. Though, of course, that casting is already taken. Certainly one of the most John Constantine-like characters in the Marvel universe. Before: Just like everyone else, I was thinking Ghost Rider or Silver Surfer. As you were talking about some other characters (and before you spoke of this character), Nova popped into my head as a cool possibility - but ultimately I don't think Keanu quite fits that part. After: Definitely liked your argument for Beyonder. That would be such a great fit because he can get in and out in a couple movies, but still potentially show up randomly in big team ups or even just voicing in more What If episodes. I still think Silver Surfer would be a great fit, and you made another strong argument for that as well. I almost think Ghost Rider is a little too on the nose for what people expect, so that might not be the best place to put him.
as much as people want keanu to play ghost rider, i rather he be Michael Badilino aka vengeance. Heck the first ghost rider film should not be your standard marvel origin story fair, but a true horror film where keanu plays a detective trying to piece together a string of murders that connect to a mysterious figure riding a motorcycle in flames.
@@taytoosharma7003 actually in a ghost rider film and if they do the midnight sons Michael badilino can become a strong protag. Specially if marvel does the film o describe in which he is going to be the protag of the film
I would love to see him play Sentry. I want to see a Sentry movie that plays with the idea that he was around years ago, and everyone collectively forgot him (Doctor Strange's spell in No Way Home, basically)
Have him be One Above All. Lol Edit: also added point, just imagine an older-battered-beaten Tom Holland Spider-Man (or whoever is playing him) having that extremely dark and ethereal conversation about death and gods plan and whatnot with Keanu. Would be great IMO
Off the top of my head: Namor, Kraven the Hunter, Cloak. Morbius, if they hadn't already cast Jared Leto. He'd have also made an excellent Winter Soldier. I thought of Gambit, but I seriously doubt he could deal with the accent - not convinced there. I didn't consider Ghost Rider, but he'd definitely work. Not sure about Silver Surfer.
@@Nulono Skin colour shouldn't be a knockout criterium, but being black against a white Dagger is a big part of his character. Maybe make it work better with a black Dagger? That could be fun. But Cloak also has a very stereotypical Black American name with Tyrone... BUT Tyrone's last name is Johnson... another John character for Keanu?
Johnny Blaze is the best fit and most likely to actually happen. On top of everything you said IRL Keanu is super into motorcycles. Like custom rides and starting his own motorcycle company levels of into it.
Right. He's almost the age that Patrick Stewart was when Stewart filmed the first X-Men movie. I wouldn't cast Keanu in any role that requires a lot of gymnastic physicality. I don't want to be watching Keanu in a scene and say to myself "Hey that's his stunt double".
What about Spider-Man Noir? He can be that elderly, but brooding kind of Peter Parker, who is taking out mob bosses. This character can also, be either taken seriously or can have his seriousness play for humor, kind of like Keanu is.
@@Julian-pw5mv Marvel would want to get as many years out of an actor as possible. But if they went for a CG character, I suppose it might not be an issue. Keanu is in great shape and could probably pass for 40, but it all catches up with us eventually.
Before: I saw Silver Surfer somewhere and I think that'd be great. A huge character, super important on a cosmic scale, could have a very personal story, but also not someone who shows up all that often. Will be around for big events, but not hogging up the budget by chilling on Earth all the time.
nova, namor, and surfer are definitely my top 3 from this list. nova in particular was really unexpected but i honestly think it would work really well.
Before: I'd like to see something obscure. Maybe Death's Head or Rom the Space Knight? After: Johnny Blaze would be awesome, as would be Havoc. Not sure if he could pull of Sinister's look, but I'd like to see it anyways. Could see Nightcrawler as well. Raz sounds cool. KORVAC YES. Gladiator would be amazing! I like Richard Rider and could see him as him. Silver Surfer. This. THIS. Love the John Jamison (though I feel he's a lil old for that) and Bloodstone. Namor would be awesome! The Beyonder would be a fun and amazing choice for Keanu. Addendum: He'd make a great looking Graviton if anyone remembers Avengers Earth Mightiest Heroes.
Kevin Fiege has been trying to cast Keanu for some time, I think he'll be cast as a surprising character. I'd hope they'd cast him as a character that'd run for a trilogy & few cameos. Im hoping they don't do a villian that lasts for a single movie - too much talent
I think the biggest question is how long he's willing to sign up for. The Beyonder is a great one-shot part, relatively minor (in terms of screen time) even in his own movie (though there's opportunity for post-credit cameos in other movies on the way). On the other hand, my, possibly too on-the-nose, fancast for Beyonder is, without hesitation, John de Lancie. If Keanu's willing to sign up for a decent run, I can definitely see Silver Surfer going the distance.
Before: I would seriously love to see him play the silver surfer!!! Like he wouldn't need to show up so many times and the character suits his chilled personality. Plus in the comics the silver surfer is always wise, kinda like Keanu, plus instead of a bike he'd be riding a surfboard which matches his previous roles. After: damn, this was a good list
When I first saw the title, I thought: if they redo the character, he'd be an awesome Taskmaster. But you're right on point for Ghost Rider, phenomenal choice. And I'm a little more inclined toward Silver Surfer
I wanna see Keanu as MCU's uncle Ben since the character has not appeared yet, only mentioned. Imagine him saying "With great power, comes with great responsibility", that'd be sweet.
@@adamplentl5588 i don't think hes been mentioned, but on peters suitcase there was a B.P branded. i could be wrong tho and maybe he has been mentioned once or twice

Before: Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider, it’s just perfect and his more ethereal energy would be a nice counter to mix cages wild take on the character After: Would be cool if we got him as silver surfer but only if we got to see him post-galactus
Since you proposed Keanu Reeves as Beyonder while talking about Secret Wars with the whole "fight for my amusement" thing, I really thought you'd connect it to his role in "Man of Tai Chi", even if it's not as well known. Some solid picks tho.
Ooooh me and my friends were also talking about this very topic a while ago! Before: A Constantine type character would be a great one for him, esp since we’re having more of the mystical come into play. What about Sentry? Or maybe Adam Warlock? After: oooh that’s interesting!! Ghost Rider would be sick! Keanu playing a villain would be a really nice change of place and would be great too Aaaay gambit!!! That’s a great one
Will Poulter is already playing Adam Warlock, but before he was cast, I could've definitely seen Keanu in the role, depending on the direction they wanna go with the character
Doctor Druid, marvels second string magic Doctor. It would not take much to make him more like a constine/harry dresden. Ulysses bloodstone the immortal monster hunter. And hammerhead or man mountain Marco or some other mob guy. Imagine a John wick vs punisher fight to get my line of thinking.
Honestly, I think Chameleon. I think if they rework him into more of a John Wick-esk character and he could be a great force against Spider-Man. Just could be fun for 1-2 movies to give more light to a more unknown villain.
It’s more than likely that Chameleon will be played by multiple actors to represent his disguises, so a big name might get lost in the shuffle. They could pull a Tom Hanks Polar express and have him mocap the disguises, but that might be a bit much.
@@tompotter8703 Totally agreed, and they definitely wouldn't mocap it, I feel it would look too unnatural for a character that supposedly imitates people so well
@@tompotter8703 well duh, but the main persona could be him. I doubt they would use so many disguises, but they could definitely have plenty of scenes with Keanu to make him work in the role
I heard a rumor that he was being looked at for a kraven movie before they settled on Aaron Tyler Johnson, and I thought he'd be very effective, though I wanted it to be in the mcu, cause Tom Holland spider man being hunted by John wick sounded amazing
He should play Spider-Man Noir. He can play the dark and the muted, he has the look and feels like the right for this kind of character. He definitely has the physicality as well and I think his kind of humor just fits in well with this.
Before: Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider, Black Bolt, Mr Sinister, Silver Surfer, Richard Rider/Nova After: I predicted 4 of them. Also you’ve convinced me he would be a perfect Beyonder.
Before: He'd be a very different take on Reed Richards. I think I'd like to see that. I could see him as Black Bolt, though that's an ensemble and they aren't going to touch the Inhumans again after the TV show. Namor - darkly charismatic. Silver Surfer. Not only does he already know how to surf, he's already cosmically powered. One thing about a lot of his best roles is that he's playing somebody doing his best even though he doesn't know the big picture. I call this the Whoa Effect. It can be clueless clueless like in Bill and Ted, or somebody smart who is reacting to a manipulator like in Speed. Point Break, Matrix 1, and more all show this. Oh, and he's my dream Booster Gold for the DCEU.
Before: I think Keanu could have a lot of fun with a role like Mephisto, it isn't exactly in his usual wheelhouse but it's similar enough, and MCU Mephisto could be different. I'd just really like to see him go crazy and have fun with a role like that. After: The beyonder is an excellent callout, and I'd like to say that I think he could bring the same kind of energy I want him to have as a Mephisto to a role as Ghost Rider. I do really want to see him as the silver surfer now though.
I love the idea of him as Ghost Rider although I also think that with a better script and a good director (maybe Sam Raimi) then they could just bring back Nicholas Cage cause I think he’d be great under the right circumstances
Before: I've been interested in seeing more of Keanu as a villain and I think he'd be a really excellent Kraven or a more world-class behind-the-scenes character like The Foreigner. After: Yeah, Norrin Radd would work. And his last name is Radd, so... a little Ted there.
I’ve always wanted Ryan Gosling as Nova. After BladeRunner 2059 it’s all I dream. Also, Keanu is the perfect Silver Surfer. His interactions with a huge actor Galactus could be incredible!
Before: Cable I think he's too old for most of the characters you said, however, Sinister and Corsair are great casting (make the Starjammers rivals to GotG, I've been pitching this for years). I know he's still pretty athletic, but he's still old. Kurt, Scott, Alex, and Remy are too young of characters. I've also been pitching Ulysses Bloodstone to be played by Bruce Campbell in MoM with Raimi
Gonna go with the left field choice here, but here me out. As part of Wolverine's backstory, he was a spy for the CIA in the Cold War. Another character adjascent to this era was Christoph Nord, alias Maverick. He's basically John Wick with superpowers. See, imo the best think Keanu can do is serve as a vehicle yto usher in the new big tentpoles. And as he's closely tied to Wolverine, its right there. Imagine this. Its the height of the Cold War. Keanu as Maverick is a veteran spy nearing the end of his career. He's recruited for a big job, something called Project X. He's partnered up with two rookie agents, Victor Creed and Logan. Its up to him to take this two raw, headstrong rookies and make them into the killing machines we know them as today. You can them have them go into some serious spy stuff, maybe go against Omega Red or the Winter Guard. That way, you use Keanu's star power to differentiate this Logan from Jackman's, and as he looks at 57 like he did at 27, you can beleivably have him pop up in a later flick to do the grizzled mentor returning for one last hurrah thing.
Before: Always thought Keanu would make an amazing Johnny Blaze or Silver Surfer After: Ghost Rider and Silver Surfer are still my top choices. But I love him a lot as Corsair! Would fit it perfectly and could believably play the Summer's dad, as they will probably cast younger actors for Cyclops and Havok. I also think your choice of Beyonder would be fantastic also
Before: I know it’s what many are saying, but I’m still very much on the Silver Surfer side of things. I think he has that mystical, celestial presence to him, and the right body type and face shape, etc. It’s also a heavily SFX and VFX assisted role, and at 57, that’s what Keanu needs, especially if he’s gonna play this character for several years. After: YES!!!! Exactly. I retain the opinion that that is perfect casting. That said, I remember there being rumours James Gunn had already cast him for Guardians 3? Regardless, Beyonder is great, but I’d go for someone younger, buffer, and more… in his own head. Gotta stick to the Surfer.
I would think he could play a police or detective in the mcu of even a shield agent. one thing we should factor in is that Keanu is smart enough to know he isn't a top their emotional actor but does pick his roles VERY well. that's why no matter what we think, he would have an opinion of his own
Before: Namor the Submariner After: Johnny Blaze is basically perfect, Keanu even owns his own Motorcycle company and rides them regularly. Silver surfer is another great choice, think he has the perfect body type and acting range for that.
For the Beyonder, I feel like you would have to cast an actor who is just known known as a legend, somebody who you would never expect to be in the MCU. Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks would be my first choices.
I have two characters i feel he would be awesome for. The first is the beyonder. Because of the roll he played in The Day The Earth Stood still. He was very convincing is a intergalactic very powerful Godlike being. He seems to fit the profile very well. Not to mention the rumors that we're going around about Sandra Bullock playing Madame web. He also mentioned he would love to work with Sandra Bullock again and they would be great in a spider-verse film together. The other one I want even more though is Ghost Rider. Not only does he have a natural love of motorcycles. But he has fought evil and Satan in both Constantine and The Devil's Advocate. He plays an extremely powerful badass character as the one AKA Neo in The Matrix. And he's an absolute great at stunt acting and fighting. And I really want to see him fighting a variant of Ghost Rider played by Nicolas Cage.
I think Keanu Reeves would be great as a guy who shows up for just one movie, like The Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok, or Ego in Guardians 2, so The Beyonder is probably perfect. I think Norman Reedus would be a better choice for Ghostrider, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II would be a better choice for The Silver Surfer.
Before: Ghost Rider After: Silver Surfer To be honest, I dont think Keanu has the range to play a character with a lot of depth. But tortured loner hero is right up his alley.
Before: Nova (Richard Rider), Nightmare, The Living Tribunal After: I agree with Silver Surfer a lot, he is a very calm and understated character, with the potential to unleash a lot of emotion. Also Beyonder would be amazing, he is so powerful yet understated, and I love the idea that he is just kinda bored.
I really see him being interested in Ghost Rider as he’s extremely into motorcycles and even has his own line of bikes so he would probably do a lot of his own riding
Keanu is a massive motorcycle enthusiast and even started his own custom bike company. I can't believe Nando didn't mention this. Ghost Rider is the only logical character for him to play.
Doctor Doom. It would be an unconventional Doom tone but would also work pretty well with the vibe, and I think Keanu Reeves can pull off that comic book campy plus super crazy powerful menacing vibe very well. Also technology and magic and leadership role
We need him as The Beyonder just so I can start calling him The Keander.

Bro really called phases 5 and 6 7 months before anything was announced
I feel like he could also be the Sentry, would love to see him in the role.
Namor and The Beyonder are my favorites from the video I would like to see him as.
I like the Sentry as a suggestion. He's too old for most of these roles, but an older actor makes sense for Sentry.
Scrolled to see if anyone would suggest Sentry. The all-powerful Superman that everyone forgot.
David Hasselhoff as beyonder
Many don't realize Keanu Reeves is a very serious & dedicated martial artist. Starting with his role as Neo in The Matrix movies , Keanu's training has improved & his stills has sharpen in other action pack 📽️ like John Wick
Before: Johnny Blaze
After: Silver Surfer, or Beta Ray Bill if they want to go for a smaller role for him. I think Keanu would be perfect for BRB, even though you wouldn't get that iconic Keanu look.
I still want him as Ghost Rider personally
Before: Punisher (I know about the Netflix series)
Ghost Rider
After: never really thought about the X-men, but Mr. Sinister and nightcrawler sound amazing.
Michael Korvac would have been amazing, and I love the idea of Adam warlock for him.
My absolute favorite out of all of your suggestions is The Silver Surfer.
Galactus.
Adam Warlock has already been casted dude. Will Poulter will play him in Guardians 3.
I think Jon berenthal is already perfect casting. You can’t just replace talent like that.
@@ZeeDrakon very well put. I see what you mean there. Plus John wick is a little more low key. He’s more of a myth, or a legend. The punisher is just an unhinged force of nature. He’s not hiding anything. He’s out in the open and you get what you expect from Frank’s character.
The Sentry would be the perfect fit for Reeves - similar feel to characters like Neo.
You're the only other person I see here saying Sentry. I said Sentry too. It's definitely Sentry.
@@java_bean little late but same. Out of everyone I think he’d be a perfect sentry
I was just about to type that.👍
Yeeees Keanu would be terrific as Sentry!!!
Before: Gambit, The Silver Surfer, and Cyclops (if he’s okay with a long-term contract)
After: Love the sound of your pics, especially Beyonder and Ghost Rider.
Rami Malek is a great choice for Ghost Rider, I second this!
Nah bro norman reedus would be a better pick for ghost rider
Raimi Malek is a great choice for nightcrawler!
Before: Sentry
After: Also Sentry, but, OK, Silver Surfer, too. I just feel like so many of these you're just looking for similarities with his previous characters, and I think he's better than that. He is honestly one of the most gifted physical actors I've ever seen, and so something that allowed him to really use his body would be amazing.
Before: Ghost-Rider; Namor* & Mephisto
After: Still those three, but also The Beyonder; Dracula & Mr. Sinister
* There's been rumours that Keanu has been talking to Kevin Feige on multiple occasions, but they didn't have the right role for him yet, so maybe he's already been cast as Namor but they just haven't announced it yet.
Tenoch Huerta is playing Namor. They wanted Keanu to play Druig in Eternals but they didn't pick him
@@jacobjogagu4571 He rejected that role probably
They offered him moon Knight, kraven the hunter too
I think he would be perfect as ghost rider, beyonder
Isn't Namor in his like 30's, and implied to be a POC? Someone like Henry Golding or Pedro Pascal would be much better imo.
There's a key thing that could link him to Ghost Rider and you didn't mention it: He absolutely loves bikes. He even owns a company that makes them. Imagine this exchange: "Keanu we have this movie where you are a cool demon guy riding a bike" "I'm in".
Dude, you're WAY too good at this type of stuff.
He'd also be perfect for ghost rider as he loves motor cycles and literally invests in a company that makes them
Silver surfer was always my pick, because I thought about this before, with Nathaniel Essex and Namor actually also being in my top five.
I REALLY hope he plays Silver Surfer. That sounds amazing.
@@zleeven they probably won't cast him for side roles
Marvel wanting keanu since first iron Man so if they finds the role that would be grand
Lol
Edit: also added point, just imagine an older-battered-beaten Tom Holland Spider-Man (or whoever is playing him) having that extremely dark and ethereal conversation about death and gods plan and whatnot with Keanu. Would be great IMO
THANK YOU! I've been saying this since I first saw that version of the One Above All in the comic, he would be amazing
Naw, I think the One Above All has to be a meta joke.
It's gotta be like, Kevin Feige at this point.
Spider-Man Noir would actually be perfect for Keanu. A gritty version of Peter Parker.
I completely agree.
@@zombielizard218 Nic Cage IMO - r/onetruegod
Also Keanu Reeves is a big motorcycle nerd! He collects motorcycles and he even has his own custom shop
Isn't Cloak black?
@@Nulono Skin colour shouldn't be a knockout criterium, but being black against a white Dagger is a big part of his character. Maybe make it work better with a black Dagger? That could be fun.
But Cloak also has a very stereotypical Black American name with Tyrone... BUT Tyrone's last name is Johnson... another John character for Keanu?
The mcu already has a cloak.
@@disneyerapowerrangers2923 do they? I only know of the Amazon series
@@HeresorLegacy cloak-and-dagger wasn't an Amazon series. It was freeform.
Johnny Blaze is the best fit and most likely to actually happen. On top of everything you said IRL Keanu is super into motorcycles. Like custom rides and starting his own motorcycle company levels of into it.
Realistically, at 57 years old, it would be tough to cast him as a character that they want to keep around for more than a couple of movies.
Why?
57 ain't that old. He could easily fill a role for at least 10 years. Besides, who would want to play a character longer than that?
I love how you spent a solid 5 minutes talking about all the Johns he has played
Keanu would absolutely kill it as Johnny Blaze, I wanted him as Adam Warlock but we already have Poulter
I wanna see Keanu as MCU's uncle Ben since the character has not appeared yet, only mentioned. Imagine him saying "With great power, comes with great responsibility", that'd be sweet.
When was an MCU uncle Ben mentioned?
@@adamplentl5588 i don't think hes been mentioned, but on peters suitcase there was a B.P branded. i could be wrong tho and maybe he has been mentioned once or twice
@@adamplentl5588 The What if Zombies episode was the first one that directly mentioned him by name.
ghost rider is almost perfect for him, irl he loves motorcycles and I think has his own custom bike company called Arch. Not even hearing the rest of them, this one is perfect.
I could see him going against his normal casting and play an interesting villain in the form of Dracula for Blade
Keanu Reeves as Adam Warlock would've been perfect.
Before: Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider, it’s just perfect and his more ethereal energy would be a nice counter to mix cages wild take on the character
After: Would be cool if we got him as silver surfer but only if we got to see him post-galactus
Keanu playing a villain would be a really nice change of place and would be great too
Aaaay gambit!!! That’s a great one
Will Poulter is already playing Adam Warlock, but before he was cast, I could've definitely seen Keanu in the role, depending on the direction they wanna go with the character
sentry is my go to cast for him too
Doctor Druid, marvels second string magic Doctor. It would not take much to make him more like a constine/harry dresden.
Ulysses bloodstone the immortal monster hunter.
And hammerhead or man mountain Marco or some other mob guy. Imagine a John wick vs punisher fight to get my line of thinking.
@@mattsherlock9636 yo yo yo what if…Doctor Doom??? Maybe in all honesty lolol
I really wanted Keanu to play punisher but after Jon Bernthal, I can't see anyone else playing him.
@@tompotter8703 Totally agreed, and they definitely wouldn't mocap it, I feel it would look too unnatural for a character that supposedly imitates people so well
If he was Chameleon it would have to be more of a cameo roles, just cause of how the Chameleon is. Though would like to see the Chameleon though
@@afropenguin definitely not a cameo. I’m talking main villain, plus maybe more appearances.
In my opinion, Keanu Reeves would be the perfect casting for kraven the hunter for a future Spiderman movie
Instead Of Cyclops maybe Gambit? Mephisto? Nightmare?
I think he should play Namor, honestly. If he got jacked and they cut his hair he could look a lot like the comics portrayal.
Namor already cast.
@@andaroos since when?
He's too old.
He should play Spider-Man Noir. He can play the dark and the muted, he has the look and feels like the right for this kind of character. He definitely has the physicality as well and I think his kind of humor just fits in well with this.
Before: Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider, Black Bolt, Mr Sinister, Silver Surfer, Richard Rider/Nova
After: I predicted 4 of them. Also you’ve convinced me he would be a perfect Beyonder.
Before: Ghost Rider
After: Either Silver Surfer or Cyclops, but I would watch him as Big Wheel until my brain started spinning inside my cranium
It may be weird for some people but i think he would a perfect Doctor Doom!
he should definitely play Gladiator
You should fancast Nicolas Cage in the MCU next.
If it wasn’t already cast, and knowing little about the character, I think he would have been hilarious as Moon Knight
He could play Dracula in a possible Blade movie as a call back to his role as Jonathan Harker in the Bram stokers Dracula
Before: I've been interested in seeing more of Keanu as a villain and I think he'd be a really excellent Kraven or a more world-class behind-the-scenes character like The Foreigner.
After: Yeah, Norrin Radd would work. And his last name is Radd, so... a little Ted there.
Before: Just off the top my head, one character that intrigued me was Mister Sinister. I don't know why, but I think he could make it his own.
I’ve always wanted Ryan Gosling as Nova. After BladeRunner 2059 it’s all I dream. Also, Keanu is the perfect Silver Surfer. His interactions with a huge actor Galactus could be incredible!
Machine Man. He kind of looks like the character and goes with the other tech-themed movie roles he's been in.
Before: Cable
I think he's too old for most of the characters you said, however, Sinister and Corsair are great casting (make the Starjammers rivals to GotG, I've been pitching this for years). I know he's still pretty athletic, but he's still old. Kurt, Scott, Alex, and Remy are too young of characters.
I've also been pitching Ulysses Bloodstone to be played by Bruce Campbell in MoM with Raimi
I think Johnny Blaze is a safe cast. The only thing I don't think you mentioned he knows how and likes to ride bikes.
Before: Big Wheel or Silver Surfer
After: Silver Surfer, Richard Ryder, or yeah I guess the Beyonder
Before: Always thought Keanu would make an amazing Johnny Blaze or Silver Surfer
After: Ghost Rider and Silver Surfer are still my top choices. But I love him a lot as Corsair! Would fit it perfectly and could believably play the Summer's dad, as they will probably cast younger actors for Cyclops and Havok. I also think your choice of Beyonder would be fantastic also
Keanu would be a phenomenal Doom.
I would think he could play a police or detective in the mcu of even a shield agent. one thing we should factor in is that Keanu is smart enough to know he isn't a top their emotional actor but does pick his roles VERY well. that's why no matter what we think, he would have an opinion of his own
Before: Namor the Submariner
After: Johnny Blaze is basically perfect, Keanu even owns his own Motorcycle company and rides them regularly. Silver surfer is another great choice, think he has the perfect body type and acting range for that.
He would make an absolutely amazing name or the second Irradhat my brain just emtt to imperious rex.
Before: Reed Richards, Silver Surfer, The Beyonder
After: How the hell did I guess the Beyonder of all things? And I agree on Johnny Blaze.
For the Beyonder, I feel like you would have to cast an actor who is just known known as a legend, somebody who you would never expect to be in the MCU. Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks would be my first choices.
I'm glad you brought up how much John's he's played
I'm impressed you know the story of Job. Mad respect Nando
I think Keanu Reeves would be great as a guy who shows up for just one movie, like The Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok, or Ego in Guardians 2, so The Beyonder is probably perfect. I think Norman Reedus would be a better choice for Ghostrider, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II would be a better choice for The Silver Surfer.
my heart skipped a beat when you said keanu reeves as nightcrawler, it was like you were reading my highschool list of crushes
Before: Ghost Rider
After: Silver Surfer
To be honest, I dont think Keanu has the range to play a character with a lot of depth. But tortured loner hero is right up his alley.
Before: Nova (Richard Rider), Nightmare, The Living Tribunal
After: I agree with Silver Surfer a lot, he is a very calm and understated character, with the potential to unleash a lot of emotion. Also Beyonder would be amazing, he is so powerful yet understated, and I love the idea that he is just kinda bored.
Before video: Longshot (as an introduction to the X-verse)
After video: I still like Longshot but really like Silver Surfer too.
I really see him being interested in Ghost Rider as he’s extremely into motorcycles and even has his own line of bikes so he would probably do a lot of his own riding
Before watching: I really want to see him as Ghost Rider.
Nando’s channel is where we go to hear him say, “what if this happened” and we’re like DAMN BRO THAT WOULD BE DOPE.
Please do more of these, this was a fantastic video
he is perfect cast for ghost rider. He loves set of bikes and it would suit him very well
Keanu is a massive motorcycle enthusiast and even started his own custom bike company.
I just wrote a comment saying basically this.
Ghost Rider is the pick that gets me the most excited, even after watching the whole video. Thought they were all excellent choices!
Keanu Reeves' Mr Sinister would be a DREAM!! I hadn't thought about him playing that role before and now I see it and its perfect!
