Canadian here. Outside of the covid lockdown protests this past weekend was the first time in a literal decade I have seen this country unify, get angry, and get behind something. I don’t think the rest of the world grasps how much of an economic and morale decline Canada has been in since Trudeau came to power, and right before an upcoming election. So if anything it was good to see shades of my old country back.
Love the show and hopefully I don’t get shadow band😅 but Josh opens up with I haven’t thought about tariffs and then brings out research from 1988 on tariffs
Yes, tariffs are bad, except everyone in the world has tariffs against USA. So we simply need to renegotiate with our best Allies. They are now all rich countries and can afford to make changes.
WOW! Josh came in HOT! With some truth bombs for all of us. Whatever your political leanings, that intro made you uncomfortable. This just absolutely confirmed these are my guys from here on out. I am not a bot, just a real dude that hopes to retire some day.
The one stock that does need to be concerned with tariffs is Tesla. It will be the no 1 target for retaliation for any country targeted by tariffs. Regardless of what governments do, the citizens of targeted countries will turn on anything connected to Elon as demonstrated by Canada. But I reckon the brand name is badly damaged by Elons political shenanigans now anyway. He’s alienated a lot of potential customers.
I like that he does stuff… good or bad he actually makes decisions instead of worrying more about keeping a balance. Also are Tariffs really bad if every ‘loses’? If America loses less then it’s a relative benefit which counts for something.

Haha, “Kevin O’Leary scratching at the door like a dog”
Go research the IMF report on tariffs in 2018-2019

you make Tuesdays awesome 👍🏻
People missed PLTR because of the high valuation for a gov contractor. Didn’t see the commercial growth.

Getting hitchhikers vibes from Josh’s indifference measures

Im guessing they are still ignoring the treasury hack in this episode 🙄
Lower fees don't always make a big difference. Look at XLP vs RSPS over multiple decades.
PLTR ❤
Should have been titled TDS.
