Honestly I have to agree with Melon on this one. Mashed potatoes are undeniably better than baked potatoes. When it comes down to it, you'd have to fuck up mashed potatoes pretty bad for them not to be good. I do understand that you could add to baked potatoes when it comes to toppings, but you can easily do the same with mashed potatoes without having to continuously add more toppings to combat the bland starchiness of the baked potato. But hey, that's just my opinion.
