the screens on all Headrush units are basically the same with only minor tweaks so it shouldn't matter but I am glad you were able to follow along. I must have played another two hours after the stream was over just jamming and basking in the sweet tones :)

I've had my HeadRush MX5 for 3 months and really enjoying learning all the sounds and variables. Your videos are helping speed up the learning curve for me. I am a long-time guitar player but new to multi-FX/Amp Modelers. Is the Rig you made in this video available for download on the HeadRush Forum? I can't find Doctor McFarland anywhere on the site.

I have joined and downloaded some rigs. Are the rigs made on the Pedalboard compatible with the MX5 or anything I need to know?@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios
The rigs are compatible but you may want to alter the placement in Hardware Assign if you want to change anything. I made most of the rigs on the MX5 so there should be very little you have to tweak.

Rigs have been loaded to the site. I played through them for awhile and they are amazing.
I notice your master vol on mx5 is at 9 or so. Do you recommend that and lowering vol on my frfrs and adjusting input and output levels so not to clip? I run the pb into 2 frfr108s. Thanks
Its just a balancing act. I am recording through my Studiolive Mixer and its possible the gain on the channel was low so I compensated by bringing the master up on the MX5. The 108 should be able to take lots of input signal.
I wonder can anybody tell me if there was a change in processors between the first generation headrush pedalboard and gigboard and the second generation Prime and core pedals? Or if there was an improvement where effects or algorithms are concerned from a software perspective?
I don't think so. They added Revalver amps which do take more processing but great tones can be had with the Headrush amps and Revalver amps.
@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios So far in searching I watched some Tony McKenzie's videos and he did a tear down of the MX-5 the core and the prime and it looks like all three of those have the same rock chip processor. I am unable to determine if the first generation headrush pedalboard and headrush gigboard have that same processor or not.
MX5, Gigboard and Pedalboard have the same processing power.
@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios I just really didn't expect that. Does that mean they had so much overhead CPU that they just threw in a bunch more options? Could that be why they have a real time CPU monitor in the corner? Regardless What does that mean for me? I'm still going to trade in my gigboard for a core
Having a CPU meter is good to see how much juice you have left. It has a 4 core processor which is plenty for most modeling units.
