In this LS Tech Tips video Eric shows how we go about installing and improving fitment on one of our replacement leather seat upholstery kits for a 2017 Subaru BRZ. Velocity Motor Sports ordered this kit it in a combination of Black with perforated Orange body and contrasting Orange stitching. They also wanted to include their logo embroidered on the headrests. Very nice! Do you think the steam and heat gun will work for old leather wrinkle?
Depending on the type of wrinkles, a heat gun can be an effective tool when used properly. Most factory leather interiors come in a mixture of leather and vinyl so be very carful to not apply the heat gun to any sections of the vinyl as it will most likely be damaged. In general we would suggest to approach with caution and test a small area first.
The leather seats look great, but I am always puzzled when I see someone request custom logos. The VM on the headrest looks extremely tacky and completely ruins the final product and the resale value of the vehicle.

William Ramirez We typically use the Jiffy J-4000W. The Jiffy J series would be a good place to start looking as there is a good range of selection. D H Perforation is usually aesthetic however if you purchase our Sanctum Seat Ventilation units, the perforation along with a high-flow reticulated backing foam provide proper airflow to cool and heat the seats.
