I installed these Luckyman Club seat covers on Amazon and installed them on my 2022 Toyota Tacoma. I’m blown away by the finish, fitment and quality of them. - Навчання та стиль
Great work man, very detailed instructions. It brought some light into some questions I have. I ordered mine last week and still waiting. I’ll come back to this.
Hey man just wanna say I got these for my car not too long ago and your video has helped me greatly in doing this task! One of the best DIYs I’ve ever seen… Great Job!!
Can't believe you did most of this with just one hand! Great video. Thanks.
That's how he does his woman too
That’s what she said
@@-B_G-well played.
@@jenny-DDyoooo lol😂
I respect someone who does it right, and can also explain it so eloquently. Much appreciated.
I just ordered a front set from luckyman and have watched a few install/ review videos. They all look good, but they all have the little imperfections you mentioned due to improper install. I'm so glad I found this video and now I'm even more excited for my covers to arrive. I'm now confident that they'll look amazing
Just installed front seat covers on my Tacoma. Your video was a big help. One suggestion I have to expedite attaching the metal clips under the front of the seat is to locate a good metal bar or hole in a piece of metal in the proper location and fasten a zip tie there and just clip onto the zip tie.
Impressive!! Also impressed that you installed them with one hand, for the most part. Beautiful covers!
Awesome! I installed mine today. About 2hrs of work. But very very happy with the outcome 😀
Excellent tips for fitting seat covers! That issue with hiding the gap on non-powered passenger seats is universal, but I found a simple why, to fix it. You just need 3 pieces of black elastic and, 3 of those metal hook retaining clips. Either get the elastic from the straps on old seat covers you are replacing, or you can get it from a craft store. Make a loop with the elastic and sew the non-loop ends to the inside edging of the new seat cover at that gap area - attach one where the seat bottom cover will slip behind the reclining handle, and another one 1/2 the way between and the 3rd just before where the seat edging wraps around to the front of the seat bottom. Attach the metal hook clips to each of the 3 elastic loops and feed under the plastic edge & hook them under the seat. Is it being OCD...yea, probably but, it's worth that little extra step, to get that same clean and smooth look, on both the drivers and passenger side.
A+ Job with great detail and tips! You are the reason I will be buying these covers.. Thanks for sharing!
You are the best I've ever seen you have shown me exactly how to do it with out a problem I watch other videos and could not get the jest of it they didn't seem to know what they were doing you are awesome you are number one in my book
You did a fantastic job putting the covers on while filming!💯👍🏼
I purchased these covers after watching your video! I found that in order to reinstall the clips that you removed at 4:30, required me to remove the seat as my hand couldn’t fit under there to clip them back in to the factory location. It also allowed me to make sure the front clips were anchored correctly under the seat making sure not to anchor to a cable. No need to remove the seat from the truck but having that extra room by tilting the seat, was key for my installation.
Loved the video, just got the all black seat covers today. I like your back seat even more.
Thanks man. This is gonna save a lot of frustration! Appreciate it!
Found your video while looking for seat covers for my 2020 Lexus RX350 I just purchased. I wish these were available for mine. Great job on your video.
Thanks for the useful video. I was looking for a reasonably priced set of form fitting seat covers for my Tacoma. 👍🏻
I saw this one video on seat covers where the guy was showing off how great his seat covers are. I think they were from Luckyman Club. Anyway, it was weird because there was this huge black stain on the supposedly brand-new seat cover - driver's side. As to this guy, it's really inspirational to see how he overcomes his handicap as an amputee and dopes the installation one-armed - kudos for not allowing the loss of an entire arm to get in your way.
Just put the solid black ones on my 22 taco. Solid video! Your method beats the hell out of using all the pieces!
....and your demonstration is bang on.
I've had these for a few months now and they are great! People think they are factory leather. I was having a little trouble with the bottom cover wanting to shift forward leaving a gap. But I just did your trick of using just one disc tying the back and bottom together on each side, (for a total of two discs per seat instead of four) and that solved the issue! Now they are perfect! Thanks for the tip. Nice job on the video. I have subscribed. 😊👍
I did that but doubled up on the disc for more strength,
How have they held up? No tears, fading, or stretching?
@@upthecreekyt They have held up well. I just wish they were an inch or inch and a half longer on the seat bottoms. I'm always having to re-adjust them and pull them back to cover the exposed gap where the seat bottom meets the bottom of the back. That is the only issue I have with them. Hopefully they're cutting them longer now.
I appreciate this more than you will ever know. THANK YOU SIR.
Those look really good. Thanks for the video
Amazing vid, these came out looking OEM!
The Carhart Precisionfit seatcovers are just as impressive. Different material philosophy, but just as well designed and cut to give the impression they were put on at the factory. Took 4 hrs to install just the front seats on my Tundra, using two hands!
Great review and install!
Best video of this can't wait to install the black ones in my tacoma
I love your video ! Thanks for the explanation on this
Looks great ! Thanks for sharing
Great How-to brother!! Going out now to install using your tips.
Excellent review, one idea would be get a tripod or grabbing mount for your camera. You sold me on this cover!
Those fit pretty nice. Thanks for posting, you saved me some 💵.
You sir…are the man! Thanks for the vid
You did this with one hand...I think I can do it with two. Great information!!
Beautiful 🤩 love them
These are super nice looking! I really wish they'd make them for Honda models.
Couldn’t have done it without your video! Thanks/
I will have to say that these seat covers look and fit almost perfect in your truck. great job
Beautiful you did a good job
Great video! I’ll keep that in mind !
I bought these also for my TRD Sport didn't need back ones that seat will hardly be used anyway thanks for the video I used 4 of those clips per seat worked fine
Good job bro. Great video 👍 👍
Man thank you so much!!!!
Performs well. Very pleased
This video is great I’ve been debating getting these for my 2022 Tacoma. I hope the back seats for mine aren’t too difficult 😅.
Easier than the front!
I’ve been looking at these for my 2012 Tacoma.
Great... good seat covers are never cheap.
You did a great job on your tutorial on a solo install of the seat cover. Sad that the company doesn't have a cover available for my frontier. Aren't katskins split leather that's thin? We used to have Katskins installed on a lot of vehicles.
Great Tips!
I put the same seat cover. Its been 5 months, still look new.
Well done!
Thanks for the help bro
It is a good video with a lot of details and neat look. The only issue is the side airbag, the seat cover will hinder the deployment, god forbid something bad happens.
No way. It is an airbag seat cover
Thanks for the video. I am thinking about getting this brand, how do they affect the heated seats?
Well-done. If I have to do this, now I know.
Since you have extra pucks you could double them up with the cuts crossing so they were more rigid.
Best fit I've seen
Thanks for the video I just put the same ones on my Taco I put some leather conditioner on the them now my truck smells like leather and you can slide in and out easier
Beautiful job! What’s the white mark on the front of the drivers seat?
Did real good job look good
Fantastic job; albeit one handed!!
well done!
that looks really nice. I got another seat cover, the drivers seat is the worst getting the clips under the seat is almost impossible to clip together due to the eletric motor for moving the seat.
Excellent video 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Looks great! To bad they don’t fit on my 2006 Ford Expedition! Any suggestions??
Really Nice!!!😮👍👍👍
Thanks for the video. I'm thinking of getting seat covers for my new F150. However, you didn't go into any detail regarding the side air bags. I was wondering how seat covers work with side air bags?
My original 2007 Tundra seats are showing wear but I'm more interested in softening up the seat as they feel hard now... my but gets numb on long trips. How is the padding on the seat? Do they feel comfortable?
this is a great video. well met.
I just bought some seat covers for my F150. Similar but not quite the same. I'm returning them to buy these.
The headrest area on the ones I have is where I can't stand them.
The headrest cover doesn't fit all the way around and the top of the seat is zippered and looks stupid.
Great video. I would have used all 8 of those pucks.
Nice installation, how are the holding up after a year?
Do you think these would fit a 1st gen Ridgeline? I know you owned one… what are your thoughts?
Oh wow!!! Nice!!!
Great video. Do you know if these seat covers are vented or perforated to allow for cooled and heated seats to work through the seat cover?
I would think you would want to remove the original seat cover so there's no issues trying to line up tiny holes there website should say if they work or not
I got the same covers and I agree with the passenger side outside Cover I'm trying to figure out how to make a type
Do they make these seat covers for front bench seating?
Those are freaking fantastic.
Can we see what the look like now that they’ve been installed for a while. Thnx
Do they also have the rear bench seats?
Wish they made some for my '96 Taco.
Had these for a year now, great look and decent for what it’s meant to do but the material that actually touches your seat is weak. It crumbles all over your seats over time.
The video shows no side exposure on the headrest, but when you go to order them, the side is exposed on the head rest. Please explain.
I have a 2022HRV will they fit and how or where can I get them
Are you still able to use heated seats, will the heat be felt with these covers?
How are the seat covers treating you nowadays? Do you still recommend them?
Did you maybe get the two seat bottoms switched around?
watching this video I need to get these seat covers.
I have Clazzio Leather Seat Covers for my 2021 Tacoma. These are nice covers too. What's the cost?
Like them better than the stock seat
Do they make some for the FJ Cruiser as well?
Very nice video.
Any recommendations on good quality covers for lexus ES 300?
Would these fit a 2023 nissan frontier
I am trying to find out which ones fit 2015 Ford Explorer ? Any help?
I have a Lexus RX 350 Pebble Beach edition 2009... I got the fronts in just messing with the back set.. They day take the seat out .... What's your thoughts on that.. Thanks..PS. JUST SUBSCRIBED
Will they work with heated and ventilated seats?
Can use a plastic spackle blade to push that behind the power seat lever.
I have a 2017 Tacoma I have installed two different sets of seat covers can I have a problem with with the bottom cover on the driver side the back slips out I took them off and sent them back have not found a cover that won't slip on the bottom
Do they have them specific to the 4Runner?
Helpful video. Do you know if these work on a 2023 Tacoma?
Yes they do
