Intermittent Turn Signal / Brake Light Failure 2002 Ford F150 - Multifunction Switch?

I diagnose and repair a strange intermittent turn signal and brake light failure on a Gen 10 F-Series truck.

Thank you. Only video I found that addressed the connector. All other videos are replacing the entire multi switch. The plastic clips were all broken. All wires just sliding around. Have part ordered. I'm hoping to be able to click all wires into the new connector and not splice them all.

My left turn signal on my 2002 f150 having the same issues the front bulb works it just chooses to signal when it wants I'll try with the tilt adjustment today. Good video thanks for the upload.

My 2003 does the same thing when tilting steering wheel and now sometimes I get the buzzing sound when trying to use turn signal. Thanks for the video!!

Great video....I think my 2008 Expedition has the same problem with the turn signal ....appears to be coming from the steering column.

I've got a 2001, my issue is my right tail light will work normally when my headlights are off, then when my headlights are on it will stay illuminated as if I have my foot on the brake and will not flash when using my turn signal. Any idea would be very appreciated. I have inspected the wiring on the multi-function switch and everything is good there.

No matter what i do i still cannot get it to have flashers on or the emergency lights

The issue that I have on my 98 Ford F150 the pride and the left turning signal they go out for a couple of hours and then coming back everything is on the multi multi switch everything else work the flashers the windshield wiper but the left on the right thing turning single

I had a similar issue with my E350. If I remember correctly, everything worked but sometimes the left turn signal would not. It ended up being the multifunction switch.

I have a 02 f150 and all the lights work perfectly fine but for some reason my right blinker still blinks rapidly. Already checked the multi switch but everything is intact. Would anybody know where else I could look?

I think this is my problem but when I hit the break the right turning signal lights up could that be the problem?

It's possible. Wouldn't hurt to check the plug as well as the multifunction switch.

Question if anyone can answer mine blinks then the blinker light stays on and no longer blinks any feedback would be appreciated

Sounds like it may be the relay. It's an inexpensive part...may be a good place to start.
