Quick question, if the control arm was good and just a bad ball joint, why not just replace the ball joint? I mean, as far as I know, the ball joint should be replaceable.

Dirty battery tops will discharge the battery. Oil attracts dirt.. just clean the battery top every oil change.

Gmorning i just joined the group. I also have a 99, 24v. Mine just quit with no notice while towing a trailer. I have a.code.reader but it fails to.connect. The wait light stopped coming.on.a.while.ago, but the truck cranked up and ran fine. If i shoot some.start fluid in her she wants to start. So i took a chance and replaced the CPS, made no difference. The fuel pump is not.receiving any.power. Does this act like i need an ECM? It has 327k miles use to run great. The PO had changed the IP.
