Hello, nice job on the review man. New channel but already a nice one. I am the happy owner of a solar single cut with evertune bridge. I don't totally agree about the right price you said. If we look towards the competition with ervertune bridge I can see only ESP/LTD and they cost more or less the same price but most of them don't have locking tuners. So I think overall the Solars are nicely priced. Sure it can be cheaper but it is not overpriced I think. Keep the good work.
Hi Julien, thanks for your comment and feedback! You are right, unfortunately you dont have allot of choices when you really want the Evertune system. I think you can get better overall guitars in some other brands for same or lower price but then you have to take the potential compromise of loosing the Evertune system for quite a few advantages on the other side.

Your assessment of this guitar is clear concise and to the point, not a bunch of mindless rambling that has nothing to do with the product that you are reviewing as so many others do on their channels. Also your title is exactly what you see in the video. So many times you see videos with the title and when you watch the video it has nothing to do with the title. This applies to all videos regardless of where they are about music equipment, politics or anything else. Great review, thanks! Regarding the critique of the price (wood and factories) i'm not 100% sure if it is fair to say that. I guess the evertune bridge pushes the price quiet a bit, so i'm not certain, if this comparison is justifiable. But i might be wrong here :) As far as i know, Solar guitars are amongst the cheapest guitars with evertune bridges available.

Personally I still find the surcharge too high compared to e.g. a Fame Forum, a Harley Benton Amarok, etc. and think a price at around 1000k would fit better to the overall package. Nevertheless, as you could hear in my video I still like the guitar and will use it allot for recording.

Ich glaube Ola profitiert tatsächlich etwas davon dass es nach wie vor nur sehr sehr wenige Modelle mit Evertune auf dem Markt gibt und natürlich hat er dazu mit seinem UA-cam Kanal die optimale Werbeplattform. Bin trotzdem happy mit meiner, habe ein schönes Modell erwischt, ohne jegliche Mängel und eine die richtig gut klingt.

Maybe since the Solar Guitars brand is not yet very well known, maybe it would be more expensive (300 euros) in the other brands?
Not easy to answer, especially as they all are quite different (what type of guitar are you looking for?) and if you want the Evertune system there are not that many alternatives to the Solar (the only one mentioned here would be an LTD). Actually, if you are looking for a heavy strat and dont need the Evertune system I would recommend you going for the Harley Benton Amarok which is on a comparable level for much less money.

It’s true, it’s a great guitar with good pickups. i had buy a Schecter nt7 Jeff loomis for 3 years ago and i had like this guitar. i have buy a solar a1.7 artist ltd, the guitar must ne delivered tomorow normaly. i hope the solar is good like the Schecter nt7 😁

I know it's popular and I have never tried a Solar, but I really-really disliked the feel of the EC1000 when I tried it in a store (could be due to setup). So I don't know. People say indonesian made Ibanez is much better now than it used to be and there are some quite pricey guitars in their premium range, so I guess Indonesia doesn't necessarily mean bad? Anyways, my favorite neck shape is the super-thin Ibanez wizard necks found on japanese prestige models. I have a standard ibanez with a still quite thin neck, but I can feel that it's thicker. I don't dislike it per se, but neither do I like it. Do you think I would hate the neck of a Solar?
@@eriong.7446 Hi Erion, it's quite hard to give some recommendations in respect of which guitar would feel best in your hands. Both the LTD as well as the Solar have thicker necks than an Ibanez. Personally I like the feel of my Solar a tiny little more than on my LTD MH (not an Eclipse, which is a different type of beast with a different neck shape as well). But both guitars are on a similar level from their build quality (LTD maybe minimal better as Solar had some quality issues lately) and specs. If I had to choose between my Solar and my LTD I would still go with the Solar as I was lucky with mine and I prefer the matt finish on the neck.
