Wanted to give you guys a quick go through on the SRAM UDH or Universal Derailleur Hanger.
The word Universal is maybe a little misused.
The SRAM UDH is designed to take the place of a bunch of different hangers.
But in our world really the bike needs to be designed with this hanger in mind.
Obviously if you compare it to a boost Ibis derailleur hanger it's not going to work. It's not the same thing.
When you look at the Yeti SB series derailleur hanger it's the same deal.
While the SRAM UDH works for the Yeti 160E the standard SB series derailleur hanger is not interchangeable based on diameter and shape.
So, SRAM Universal Derailleur Hanger, not truly universal in an adaptive sense - but it is used on the Yeti 160E, Yeti ARC, Ibis Exie and most of the Mondraker frames we carry are going to use this SRAM UDH.
But for the Ibis boost bikes or the Yeti SB series you're going to need to use the correct derailleur hanger.
