Dear friends (of ALL nations),
This video is against war, violence, and terror. It's about peace, solidarity, and freedom.
In Poland where I live, this song has always had cheerful connotations. It's been mostly associated with feasts and wedding parties due to the romantic lyrics and lively melody. For me though, the song means something else today. I wish to support my Ukrainian friends with this emotional arrangement - may the melody light up your hearts with strength and hope for better tomorrow. ❤✨

This is a hauntingly beautiful song. My grandfather learned it during the second world war, from free Polish tank crews he met in France. He would play this on piano and I would see his eyes became very shiny. Thank you.

That was very emotional. Job very well done Lukasz ! Beautiful intro with harmonics - which makes it sound like a a sad Music Box (which is exactly how we feel about what is going on now) Love also the powerful part that brings us hope and also happy improvised ending (which i srongly believe will also happen in reality soon). We have 150 Ukrainians in our village in Aviemore Scotland, I play music with one called Toma, we play and compose. Ukrainians love to sing and harmonise. They have a beautiful heart. We wrote one song called "Butterflies" and performed at a fund raiser at Glasgow Royal concert hall. Lots of Ukrainian songs and dance along with Scottish musicians. Music bringing countries together. Now I learn this song. Ukraine will always sing,💋❤

hi, will you upload a tab for this piece one day? it's beautiful and has a helpful meaning behind it, I'd love to play it
I mean this in the most respectful way possible; If you're not experienced enough to be able to figure it out with a high quality video of him actually playing the song right in front of you (plus the advent of playback speed being adjustable), then it's LIKELY that you're not at the point where you could play this yet.
That being said I feel bad, so if you really can't figure it out I may be able to offer some assistance. In all honesty it really is just about the fingerpicking patterns though, almost all the chords that are used in this are fairly commonplace, don't let the capo throw you off
@@thejonestowngypsy7100 hey, i know it's been a while since you replied to my comment, but here's the thing: I've been playing the guitar since i was 6 yo, so for over 8 years already, but the point is that I'm still working on figuring out playing songs by ear. I've been going to a music school and I haven't been taught that really well
although I'm getting a bit better now, I've learnt a few songs lately (like eg. You're... immortal)
