Warriors return should’ve been a standard ultimate warrior match, he should’ve mowed down Orlando Jordan in five minutes and posed with the belt. that, plus the entrance is what the crowd wanted to see anyway. He didn’t need to go 17 minutes

Unfortunately, he was only there to give Hogan the W he didn't get at Mania. Had they had better plans for him, and had he not been so outlandish in his creativity, it might have worked. Yes, he was very limited, but they proved with Goldberg that it wasn't really an issue.
I enjoyed Sables come back in 2003. I thought she and Vince worked well together, not to mention her and Torrie. Only thing I wish woulda happened with that is her getting to work with Trish on Raw. I woulda liked both her and Stephanie to work with Trish during that time.
I might be mistaken, but I’d heard Bret was planning to be more physical than he was during the Vince match, but somehow the Lloyd’s policy prompted them to abandon that plan, and that was largely why we got the match we did get, which I still think is a miracle considering Bret is a stroke victim, and at that time had a knee replacement (and was on his way toward needing another).
I saw Hennig wrestle in Köln during a European tour that year.. can't remember who it was against though, but some of the other matches were Spike Dudley Vs. William Regal, Brock Lesnar Vs. Crash Holly, Booker T Vs. Ric Flair, and some multi-man hardcore match involving Justin Credible and Goldust....
Test’s 2006 run actually had me excited that they’d do something decent with him on the ECW brand. He deserved much more, but a WWE/CW title run should’ve been a guarantee. He was more prepared than Lashley was at the time.
Yeah, I still remember Test's return to the company seeming rather weird and odd. It was as if he just wasn't the same guy and didn't belong there anymore within that brief '06-'07 run. When you remember a guy's first stint in WWE a whole lot more/better than his second or third one, that alone tells you right there that they should've never returned to begin with.
I completely disagree about sable in 2003 I was a little too young for her original run in 1998 but in 2003 I was the perfect age and had a few interesting thoughts relating to her
I was a kid during her first run even then I found her overrated my favorites were Ivory and Debra by 2003 I was in my late childhood early teens phase Sable to me looked like the mother that is clinging onto her youth Trish, Stacy, lita and Torrie were the new bombshells
I didn't see Mr Perfect's return in 2002 but i heard it was supposed to just be a one off but mcmahon was impressed with his performances so decided to keep him around but it was the plane ride stuff that got him fited not because he was stinking the place out with his performances
The thing is, after the Rumble he didn't really do much. Some promos, some jobber matches, some fun stuff with RVD on HeaT and then the Plane Ride happened.
Mr Perfects injury was so sad. He was one of my favorite wrestlers and could go toe to toe with Bret Hart. After his back injury he just was never the same.

You sure thats how Warriors last match ended? The company tryed to get him to stay on as champion as even they were suprised at how well his match went. Orlando says the same.
Mr Perfect in 2002 looked great and was still athletic. I blame the WWE for basically using him as a jobber as soon as the Royal Rumble was over. He’d lose basically all matches on Heat (apart from against a rookie Brock Lesnar ironically). They should’ve given him a part time legends contract instead. I think he could’ve had great bouts against Jericho/Angle/Flair.
Honestly the worst thing to come out of Warrior's return was the revisionist history whitewash of him as a person. Suddenly WWE is proud of the Warrior and what he "stood for", conveniently leaving out that what he stood for was bigotry, homophobia and generally just being an unapologetically awful person. I've never heard one positive shoot about him and countless negative ones, not to mention the video and audio out there of some of the horrible things he said (see: "Queering doesn't make the world work") It makes the Warrior award, and Dana Warrior's inclusion in the wrestling world, infuriating to me. Because the Warrior award is a nice thing, done for pr, but still a nice thing. The fact that it is tied to someone who embodied all the traits opposite to what they claim it is about and the fact that his crone of a wife (who I'm fairly sure was just as much of a religious nutjob as he was) with no history in or knowledge of wrestling is a presenter of it and I think even a writer for WWE tv(?) is unbelievable. Not to mention, on top of all of that, he was just a truly awful wrestler who got over through Vince Mcmahon promotional magic, steroids and very good entrance music, not through any of his own personal talent. Well, watching WWE ECW back it's obvious Test had a lot of female fans but he lacked genuine charisma.

Especially his lame theme music. “This is a test. this is a test” (repeat for the entire boring song)

Bret wasn't that bad. That run also gave us Europeans a chance to see him in the ring in late 2010 during a live event tour
He also loved touring Europe during his initial wrestling run with wwf.
Warrior had potential in WCW. Loved the new look he had. The cowboy boots and a ghost from Hogan's past ready to destroy the NWO.
Seems like the only reason Warrior went to WCW was for Hogan to get his win back, and also because Warrior wanted WCW to push his comic book.
Unfortunately, he was only there to give Hogan the W he didn't get at Mania. Had they had better plans for him, and had he not been so outlandish in his creativity, it might have worked. Yes, he was very limited, but they proved with Goldberg that it wasn't really an issue.
Test-Run!! LOL that was great.
The new age outlaws return should've gone like the Dudley boyz a few years later. No title reigns, pop the crowd , put over new teams etc
They did tho. They gave the USO’s their first big title win and the crowd popped huge for it
There was no good reason not to give the Dudley's at least one title reign during that last run.
They all deserve respect for coming back and entertaining us ,thank you champs 🏆🥇
