I saw him twice in different airports over the years, then I saw him again at Orlando Intl' Airport on Christmas a couple years ago. I had to speak to him then. We talked in the terminal for 45 mins. To go from Korn being my favorite band as a kid, so having a full convo with him about Christ as an adult, in the middle of an airport terminal was a full circle moment. He's the most humble dude you'll ever meet. Thanks Brian for the talk! I hope we cross paths again.

That’s exactly what happened to me when I met him just over five years ago in Sky Harbor while I was working. Brian Head Welch is the real deal and he’s a real Christian, you can see it in his eyes when you’re face to face with the man.

He didn't pull himself out of darkness, Christ did. That is the beauty of the Gospel. Man is not capable of saving himself
@@billymiller4719 that is incredibly false. I know plenty of people personally who pulled themselves out of the darkness and made themselves into better people without utilizing the gospel. Never underestimate the power of single minded determination.
@@loboahriman7680 I agree! People can be spiritual without being religious. You can be strong and overcome addictions or any other issues you’re struggling with on your very own. Some seek therapy. Everyone needs to find their own way to fight their demons.

I remember when he first got saved. I thought how great it was for new Christians ✝️ I relapsed and it took me a decade to find my way back home to CHRIST ☘️🙏🎵✝️

Beautiful interview! I especially understood the "childlike", "innocent heart" for thoughts that he felt bad because he didn't want to "taint" Jesus by getting him high now that he expected him in his heart! Super sweet !

My pastor at my church is good friends with Brian and through him I have had the great pleasure of meeting Brian twice and he was one of the nicest guys. As a Korn fan of over 25 years, seeing Brian, and the rest of the band as well, where they are today, makes me happy. Brian, I hope our paths cross again some day.

I love how the Interviewer asked the right questions, she asked all the right questions and I love how straightforward Brian and his daughter are.
Took my daughter to see HEAD and RED when just starting his solo career in 2011 at a dive bar in Jermyn, Pa. Brian and RED through their music saved my daughter's life😭. I'm eternally grateful to Brian especially! He took the time to personally speak to My daughter after she escaped from her NOW EX HUSBAND! She was cut off from everyone and everything, or so he thought! By the grace of God I found her!!!!!! And would sneak her music CDs and then God took over! Brian, your daughter was an beautiful little girl then. And such a beautiful,wonderful work of God now who admires and looks up to you as my daughter did back in 2010, 2011 till today! We ALWAYS will and have kept you and my daughter's picture on our wall. Thank you for everything!❤❤❤
I always enjoyed Korn, but I now have a whole new level of appreciation for this guy triumphing over all that he did to find what is truly important in life.

I never thought Brian went into the den of evil to fall back into. I felt he went back into the den to share what he had found to bring other people out of the evil. God has his hand on Brian and it is not our place to judge. I met Brian when he came to Wichita and if you could have felt the Spirit moving during that show and the great meeting we had afterwards.

It’s my opinion you were hearing from God on this. I’m not familiar with Korn before or after Brian’s conversion to Christ but I listened to his testimony and felt like the Holy Spirit was in this and on him. If it’s good enough for the Holy Spirit? It’s good enough for me.

This was incredible... the story leaving his daughter at the boarding school broke me... I cant imagine that with my daughter.. this was truly inspirational. Depression and addiction is a terrible thing.. Life is too short

I did therapy from 7 until 23 years old, chronical depression. Music saved me. Still do. Korn is the band witch held me on my teenager years. My former bandmates did it later on. I was very upset when brian left korn. But, hey my thought was, "If he is alive he can always come back". And he did. I don't know how people would bash him for this. Musch respect, very good interview.
As a Christian who lived threw the metal scene of the day's I have nothing but respect for Brian for being real and understanding the real power of God! I have been saved from a wicked life as well!! I get it brother!!! In Christ, Troy R

Oh how I need this ...HOPE!!! That is what this has reinforced in me . Hope for deliverance of alcohol and drug addiction for my son Matthew. 🙌👏👏👏🙏❤️
God stopped my addiction to alcohol. I prayed to God in rehab and didn't think He was real, nor would my prayer be answered. But I did it anyway and my craving and obsession stopped in that moment. Just stopped. It never came back. God revealed himself to me that day. I accepted Jesus later on and finally forgave myself for my addiction. God will heal your son too.

He and Jennea came to a 2020 event several churches put together here in town. He was so humble to everyone that stood in line to meet him.

He does become offended though. I guess you forgot about the fact that he is a jealous God. He became angry at what people were doing in the temple. He also had his people destroy those that mocked him and them. Become offended easily is another thing, but saying he is never offended is incorrect.

I was only about 4 when “save me from myself” came out. So I never truly understood what his message was, but it helped me deal through my dad’s addiction, I think it helped him too. But to this day, 15 years later I’m still blasting that album.

I’m glad Jesus doesn’t look at us ready to throw stones. He decided from the beginning to give Himself for us. That’s a Good God. All the evil and wrongs in this life cannot compare to the love coming from the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. All the evil will end. Satan will pay for his many sins. Knowing Christ is eternal life. Everyday let’s all come to know Him better and when we see Him say “Well done” I promise any hardship won’t compare. Like Brother Brian said, it’ll all burn away in the light of Him.

I love the human perspective of this interview. Big Korn fan. God has him in a business to help others as they self treat their emptiness and demons. He can show them how to fill that emptiness through Jesus.
