bad record doesnt mean bad team, remember that. Maybe Carr can have a revival season or they bench him for rattler and same for chase young

Y’all clowns never mentioned the play calling is over after 15 years. New OC will unlock a lot.

Carr offering nothing is an absolute absurd take. He came into a system where everyone but him practically knew it, so he had to play catch up. He got injured multiple times because of a terrible OL.
Only 3 Qbs had this following stat line last year: At least 3,500 passing yards, at least 25 passing touchdowns, and fewer than 10 interceptions. It was Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott, and Derek Carr.
And he did that while playing THROUGH multiple injuries. He came close to, or was a top 10 quarterback in every category almost.
In what world is that nothing to offer? Especially now that they're going to run a Shanahan style offense. Allowing Kamara to actually do something behind that o-line.
Still subscribed, other videos of yours ive seen make a bit more sense to me and are fun to watch.

I appreciate your comment and your thoughts as always!
My biggest issue with Carr is that the box score stats did not match his play. Similar to 2021 Wentz and Russ last year as well. And it’s not like he didn’t have any weapons either. Him and Olave were often not on the same page, Shaheed and Perry both ended up showing some nice flashes, and he had Kamara as a checkdown option who he was throwing to it seemed like 80 times a game.
He did seem to turn it on in the last month but they didn’t play any opponents of legitimacy at all. The Carr Shaheed connection looks good but in a lot of their matchups (especially their difficult ones), passing the ball was almost too easy because they got so behind that they had no other choice.
It took half a season for him to get comfortable in Carmichael’s offense, and now he has to learn a Kubiak one. Add in the fact that he’s an older QB and the Saints have one of the worst OLs in the league heading into next year, and I’m not optimistic! But maybe he proves me wrong, ultimately this is all theory

@@Kodiakk As I said before, Carr came into a system that was already in place. Meaning his mindset on how it worked was different compared to literally everyone else. If someone thought he wasn't going to struggle to get acclimated, they were obviously going to be wrong. It's also pretty hard to get on the same page as someone when you're injured isn't it?
Carmichael obviously wasn't a good coordinator and Allen isn't an offensive minded headcoach. Kubiak runs a Shanahan style offense which should play into Kamara's strengths, especially if their new OL plays better.
This is training, so obviously, it doesn't mean it's a complete indication of how the season will go, but, Carr and offense was moving too fast for the defense to catch up at times and was giving them real trouble.
The Saints also almost made the playoffs and had close games with teams who did make them. It really has nothing to do with optimism for me. It's just that the Saints were a roughed up team and weren't all on the same page.
Carr had a relatively good season compared to how people speak of it? It literally doesn't make any sense. And with the whole Box Scores thing. Plenty of teams win games when their qb plays terrible. You can quite literally take the Raiders from last year. It's a team game, not a quarterback game.

Nah, they should keep kicking the can down the road. Sure it hasn't worked before but there's always next year!
