@@billybertoniere9476 Saints aren't paying him 15 million a year. Maybe 8-9 million a year guaranteed. AK's contract this year has NO guarantees, just a per game pay check.
I'd give AK 1 more year to see if he's really on the decline or did the system just suck.

But honestly, what has Juwan done at TE over the years? He’s the epitome of average. Upgrades are needed.
So? Dude had one promising season in 2022 and other than that he’s done nothing. And now he’s suffered a major injury and probably won’t do anything this season either.
That’s the problem with so many fans… y’all get emotionally-attached to players for no reason.
I want the team to get better.. I want the team to be competitive again. And that means upgrading the TE room, because right now our TE room is bottom of the league.

@3:57…Mike how can a running back step & be the lead guy when we had one of the worst Offensive lines as far as running the football? Yeah it was a down year for the whole backfield not just Alvin, I mean the OLine wasn’t a bright spot of ours last year & hopefully I and many other fans attribute that to the old offensive scheme in which it’s main strength wasn’t to run the ball affectively, it was merely an offense that fits the skill set of a certain QB (Drew the Goat Brees). This new scheme will allow the runningbacks to go crazy, **crosses finger** and Alvin will damn near be a heavy candidate for most improved player, (if there’s such an award) and then he’ll prove many of us wrong.

I really don't understand why the Tripp keeps mentioning Delvin Cook, whn Cook isn't on AK's level. Kamara and McCaffrey hv been compared to each other their entire careers. NONE of those RB's that they're mentioning aren't on AK's level. The only reason AK's numbers dipped was because of the offense that Pete Carmichael was running. They can not ignore the fact that the organization tried to run Sean Payton's offense with Pete Carmichael, and it blew up in their faces.
I love AK but that was probably the greatest RB draft in history and as a pure running back Dalvin Cook put AP out to pasture and was top 3 in the league until Mattison did it to him. Ekler was an undrafted free agent that year. Lenny, Mixon,Hunt, Aaron Jones and a couple others. All pro bowlers and all pretty much done. CMC was a injury riddled start and stop player before he got traded. Saints are playing the numbers

all time best Running Back in Saints History.

Kamara is not what he was three years ago. He has been declining one day at a time. Signing Kamara to a big contract like Dallas did with Elliot, would be wrong for the Saints.
You can thank Pete Carmichael for that. A terrible offensive line to go with terrible play calling. Anyone would look suspect with that combo.

The saints are a middle to bottom tier team in the worst division in football. Matt is just keeping it real.
Fans bought into the hype for 3 straight disappointing seasons. Not happening again. The negativity will continue until the team shows something on the field and becomes competitive again.
