Moving to Tampa soon. Tarpon is my #1 buck list fish to catch. I've got San Diego dialed in for all species. Time for new experiences in a new land.
Great video. Just got a 22 Pathfinder and trying to learn everything I can about fishing this area. Thank you so much for sharing this information. Keep them coming.
Nice to see you and the fishing 🎣 tips again 😊 Keep it coming
Really professional I love the links below showing the gear used 🤙👍 thanks brotha
Great video brother. Love the set up walk through at the end.
Just subscribed last week and I gotta tell ya I love the content!!!!
Excellent video and info on the gear set up. Thanks⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you!
Thank you so much Brent, your channel is fixing to blow up, I’m certainly looking forward to the next video.
Thank you for the support!
Great job and even better video
Awesome video Brent, got my heart racing a little there. The Tampa Bay Times fishing report in the sports section has been 90% about tarpon for the last 2 weeks. I like to hunt food fish that I'm allowed to keep, but nothing wrong with a good ole knock down drag out with a silver king. Great sport. It was fun to watch you guys.
Thank you! Tarpon will always have a special place in my heart. When they are here, it's all I want to focus on
What a big fish, great video
Just found you and I love ur vids dude.. keep em coming!
Thank you, I appreciate the support!
very exciting and great presentation
New to the channel but I can already tell this channel is going to blow up. Awesome stuff my man.
Thank you!
Agreed! Subed last week.
Masterfisherman, great video sir.
Well done Brent, you have a new subscriber.
I tried today a very similar rig at Isla Morada, Fl. I hooked a big one. The rig worked great. Good advice 👍
Great video
Awesome video! Just subbed, been seeing a lot of rolling tarpon here by honeymoon island.
Tarpon, my fav fish
Nothing like a drag ripping Silver King Great vid Brent!
Thank you! Now it's time for me to land one myself
Should check out the CCC bridge at night on out going tide!
I've heard that has been good! The night fishing has been really good all around here. I might have to check that out one night, could make a sick video
Nice! This heat is ridiculous this year.
I second that!!!! Got a seven foot umbrella for my skiff and a battery operated fan to try to help some. Go early or go late.....
Like Brad said, just gotta go in the mornings or evening. Afternoons are for the sandbar or staying inside
Bunces pass tight lines 🎣 bro
Really digging your videos. I’m a new bx 22 br owner and noticed yours on the lift behind you in the video - where did you get your console cover from? I’d like one that also covers the leaning post. Thanks!
I got it from Pro Marine when I bought the boat from them, I'm sure you could just buy the cover from them
Will be local first week Aug 23. Guide service recommendation?
Your awesome 😎
Did you tie the leader with a knot or a swivel?
beatiful
Brent. Live in Punta Gorda. Fish Tarpon at Boca...have Pathfinder 2400. Let me know if you want to connect to fish here...
Also, what kind of folding net are you using?
It's getting to that time of year again dude! Gotta hook up on some poons!!
I've gone out the past 4 mornings targeting them. Had some eats, but no fish yet. Working on it 👍
Was that the pass out by Eggmont Key
Awesome video! Excellent tips to. How where you hooking your pinfish?
I nose hook them when I'm fishing in heavy current like this. If I'm fishing off the beach with little current, then I hook them at the back of the dorsal fin
@@SeeYaDude Thanks for the the additional tips.
"We're just gonna send it"
What type of boat? Love the video. Moving to tampa soon can't wait to get into some saltwater fishing.
This was on my buddy's Pathfinder 2200
I still watch this in hopes I’ll get the chance to fish on a boat for tarpon this summer😭
Молодцы что отпускаете такую шикарную рыбу!
What do you consider the pass?
This is the biggest tarpon i've been seem coz i come from Indonesia
Do you know what kind of boat that is
Just out of curiosity, Where in Tampa Bay are you fishing for Tarpon?
How was the poon fishing in tampa this year.
It was really good the first couple weeks, then we had some crazy weather that dropped the water temp like 15 degrees and they never came back as strong
Where is that ? Like near what
Are very many tarpon still there in the middle of September?
I'm still seeing a couple rolling around here
How do you deal with the dolphins ? I fished bean point and the shipping channel all last week and every bait was stollen by dolphins, we only hooked 1 tarpon and switched back to redfish / snook after 2 frustrating days hook probably a half dozen dolphin
I even had 2 cast nets totaled by dolphins while netting white bait
Only choice you got is to leave the area ! Dolphins are bullies LOL! SERIOUSLY. 😐
Next time I see this boat on the water I’m pulling up saying wassup
What pass is this ?
Bean Point?
What kind of costas do you have
They're the Fantail model
What pound braid should you use for tarpon on a pier?
What size reel do you have?
Brent Schirmer it’s a penn btl battle 6000
Sorry for the late response, I'd recommend using 40# braid with that reel
Brent Schirmer thank you it’s fine for the late responses
..hemp rope.
What kinda boat is that
Pathfinder 2200 TRS with a custom tower
You guys can even go down to 40lb flouro I know it sounds crazy but you’ll get more bites but just baby them don’t want to hook a 150 pound one because they will die if you fight them too long
Thanks for the input, we could definitely do that with these fish under 100#'s. I'm always scared of a fishing dying from exhaustion though, that's why I'd rather use heavier line and setups than I really need so I can land and release them relatively quickly
Brent Schirmer I feel you keep up the work man amazing stuff where do you usually find your music
Thanks dude! And I usually find my music from these two UA-cam channels: "Audio Library - Music for content creators" and "NoCopyrightSounds"
NPC Non Binary Demigender Pansexual Two Spirit not if you play your cards right, nevertheless I would not enjoy it whatsoever.
Don't need tips/techniques !!! I NEED THE SPOTS !!! LONG&LAT MAN LOL!!!😎😎😎#RAYSUP
