Can i ask for some advice regarding a hook for tarpon? Everytime ive used a circle hook its always bent at any tarpies over 50 pounds and you catch some pretty badass ones!
Tarpon are strong so there is a chance with any hook they will bend out in my opinion no matter the brand. My favorite is the bkk 6/0 octopus beak hook. I have a video on my channel that goes over my whole tarpon setup line, leader, rod/reel, hooks, kayak, the whole 9 yards! Hope this helps! Tight lines 💪🏻
