should i be scared that they might go too far like i know there are many possibilities that could lead to multiple games but how far is too far for the kingdom hearts series?
Chirity said that Sora wouldn't just disappear, he'd lose his powers; Somewhere in the year between Sora fading away and facing Yozora, this seems to have been rectified? Maybe a game focusing on what 's been going on with Sora during the missing year wouldn't be the worst idea.
(The idea that everyone's been searching for Sora for a year still breaks my brain. 1) After the first two or three months, I might start to think I was doing something wrong. 2) No bad guy activity during that time? No MoM or Maleficent or whoever?)

That’s the one I’d say Nomura is leading up to. But I think the ending would go further than just fighting Sora.

From what I've seen through out all of KH is that, whenever we get a secret boss fight, that clues in on the next game
KH1 = Xemnas
KH2 = Lingering WIll/ Terra
BBS = Young Xehanort
KH3 = Yozora

How about this: a combination between BbS & DDD. One game mode is switching between the Wayfinder trio in the Realm of Darkness at will, in the other, you switch between Kairi and Riku in the Dream World at the mercy of the Drop Gauge. At the end of both game modes, all five of them meet up and find Sora in the World Between.
I would love for a Dream Drop Distance 2 to come out first, because I want to play as Kairi more then just a boss amd Riku again. We also need Kairi and Riku to interact with each other, because in KH3 we did not get that at all

@@Salthat I think Riku's gonna be Kairi's mentor now, because his arc's concluded, Kairi's adventure and arc has only just begun, and she's gonna need someone to help show her more of the ropes, since she's still technically a newbie.

Milkyway2099 I don't mind if Namine gets a Keyblade. In fact, I believe she should because of the following three facts:
1. Namine was born when Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of heart in order to release Kairi's heart in KH1.
2. Prior to that, Kairi gained the ability to wield the Keyblade because she touched Aqua's in BbS.
3. As Xemnas stated in DDD, nobodies can regrow hearts of their own.
There is one thing I need to point out about Namine. She had a life of solitary confinement, i.e. living in a shell, and even after she was rescued from Organization XIII, the only people in her company were DiZ and Riku. Because of that and the fact that it took her a year to restore Sora’s memories, she never made bonds with anyone. Now that Naminé is restored with the Replica body, this is her chance to come out of her shell.
Milkyway2099 Yeah, I know that. Just saying that this will be her chance to form bonds with others, including Xion.
You know, the 7 Guardians Of “Twilight Town” could be: Roxas, Lea, Xion, Naminé, Hayner, Pence And Olette.
There is also the possibility of a Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. Disney has arguably been used in KH as a marketing tool and the worlds themselves sometimes hold minimal value to the overarching story, but Mickey, Donald, and Goofy (and Yen Sid. You could also maybe count Chip, Dale, and Jiminy, but I'm iffy on counting them) are actually a part of the main cast and they are currently exploring the worlds that Sora visited throughout his travels to see if they can find out anything as to his whereabouts during the Dark Year. That could also be a game.
Something that occurred to me was that pretty much every playable character has become a boss a some point with the exception of Sora, Mickey, and kairi
I have a very strong feeling one of the next games might actually be of Kairi's own journey to save Sora, and potentially Riku. If Riku ends up getting himself in the same situation Sora is currently in, in his own attempt to rescue Sora. Because in the secret ending Riku seems just as lost as Sora is. I think it's Kairi's time to get her own journey and finally stop being the damsel of the story now that we officially know she can actually defend herself.
PigHunter Gaming Kairi hasn’t been a damsel in distress since kh1 everything else is a result of her taking it upon herself to look for and help everyone else. So I hate that she still gets lumped into the same category as peach for example, it just really bothers me. Kairi has never acted like she needs a knight in shining armor
Well, I could see it as an adventure for Riku and Kairi.
Because Riku said during the limit cut scenario that he's "having a dream, where he feels like he's being watched."
Which describes why he's there too during the secret ending where he looks around confused about the place he's in.
So maybe during this new game, Riku goes to sleep and gets hints on where they can potentially find Sora.
Maybe Riku gets stuck in a dream and Kairi has to help Riku return/or protect him from outside sources while he's dreaming.
@Milkyway2099 Especially since she's gonna be more relevant this time around than Roxas at this point, because Roxas is basically a fanservice character. Terra, Aqua, and Ven coming back make sense, because they were actually needed, and now that they're trekking through the Realm of Darkness, Terra doesn't know Sora as well as Ven does, or even Aqua for that matter. Roxas only came back because fan pandering and nothing else. Let's also not forget the Remind artwork being the foundation for a future game involving Kairi and her journey to find Sora and get him back, and I believe Riku may serve as her teacher, because she's still the least experienced with a Keyblade despite being paired up with her boyfriend against 13 key goat twitch fingers.

When you realize that one year past for everyone in the realm of light, but for the WF Trio, it would’ve been anywhere between 1-10 days.
They probably would've returned to RoL after 10 days search for Sora in RoD. Plus, I can see them arriving in remains of Daybreak Town in RoD and Ventus' memories from the age of fairytales start flashing.
Yeah a Twilight Gang game would be awesome for all the obvious reasons. Especially when you mentioned Roxas and Xion experiencing events through Sora's eyes for clues... I can just picture it now, and it would definitely make for some emotional scenes. Plus, we've seen Roxas do it already at the start of KH2, so we already know he can.

So, you really ignored Mickey, Donald and Goofy's journey to past worlds. This would be the most Disney-focused KH game ever.
My issue with Yozora as a whole is that there just seems absolutely no connection between him and KH, obviously this is a thing that will be explained - but as it stands I can't think of anyway Nomura could do it while also doing all the Chi/MoM stuff that won't feel forced or just Nomura wanting to do a VS XIII thing. He's just...out of nowhere really, out of place. Of course I'm excited for the answers but rn I don't vibe with him.
Ever though about what become of hundreds of dandelions? We only know the fate of 3 and what happened to MC of key? All this is tied to yozora because he literally has title of commander and 2 keyblades on his jacket as a symbol of his army.

@@sarthakarora3212 but that the mobile game that is only relevant I'm the games and didn't matter until now. The reason that the Foretellere and the MoM are fiance concepts now, is because it took years for this game to come out after their introduction so people were able to somewhat accept them. But as it is, the mobile games dont flow into the main story as it should and feels forced and out of place. Like Yazora doea
@@BabyGirlTiny There is Millions or thousands of years between UX and Kh you know. There is no reason why it won't fit in the story and Ux is ending because it's getting to present day kh.

I want all of these. As much as I want a new Roxas game first, I think it'll go:
1. DDD2
2. BBS2
3. CoM2
4. Yozora.
I think Kairi's gonna have the most focus this time around, because Riku and Roxas already had their arcs, and while Riku may have a more important role in Sora's revival, Kairi's gonna be the main key for that due to her and Sora's connection, especially the Paopu and their team attack emphasizing love, and Re:Mind's basically the start of her journey, and we've played as Riku long enough, while Kairi was only playable once, an entire game focusing on her will do her a huge lick of good.

-All 3 Concepts are one game taking place over the course of one year before finding Sora, with the Wayfinder Trio standing as Co-Op online/offline component.

What exactly I would really like to know is what xigbar/luxu and the foretellerd have been doing during this whole “dark year.” As well as maleficent and Pete. I’m surprised none of them have started causing trouble yet? Maybe they’re waiting for sora to return...
Hey I have a theory that's been on my mind for awhile.
What if Yozora is actually.....Us! The player from Kingdom Hearts Union Cross. Yozora did say that that wasn't what he really looked like which made sense considering you are capable of customizing what our character looks like. It's too early to say but it is possible that we get stuck in the final world or go to another world and live out our lives in Varum Rex. Then somehow someone asked us to save Sora leading us to go to the final world in order to save him. But this is just my theory so far.

I definitely believe that the next game what comes out after Dark Road will be a Kairi game about her looking for Sora, likely in the final world. Maybe she interacts with the lone hearts and each one is a different world, with either the last or a secret one being the Nameless Star herself.

If they were to do DDD 2 I would like for them to incorporate more on the connections between the trio Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Plus their is one problem. Riku IS SORA'S DREAMEATER. So how would they do this with kairi unless someone else gets involved. Maybe characters like the girl who is connected to yozura. Maybe they may have a brand new playable character that is from verum rex that will guide you to the truth of were Sora is. Maybe even luxord maybe a playable character.
To add to BBS 2, perhaps it can be a 3 player coop game.
They had a multiplayer mode before, so I think it's fitting.
Still keep the party switch, for single player but multiplayer disabled.
So if it's 2 players, it keeps one ai member.
I just hope hayner’s group gets more development. Hayner needs to become a keyblade wielder and Peance can become a researcher and Saix needs to get his owe keyblade too
Saix/Isa would definitely play a role in the next saga alongside Lea, seeing that they have a connection with a mysterious girl which might be Skuld or Ava. Ventus too, with Terra and Aqua tagging along to learn about their late master's bloodline.

I love all of your ideas, but I think these games deserve their own unique titles. Here are some alternate titles I came up with.
1. Birth by Sleep 2 could be called Kingdom Hearts: Light the Way. It works because the Wayfinder Trio were all about finding their way back to each other. And now that they have, they're focusing their efforts on lighting the way back for Sora while traversing the Realm of Darkness.
2. Dream Drop Distance 2 could be called either Kingdom Hearts: Lucid Dream or Kingdom Hearts: Waking Dream. The former works because Riku and Kairi would know they're dreaming and be in total control of their actions...or so they think (Plug in potential conflict here). The latter works even better because the main focus of the game's story would be to find a way to bring back Sora, and thus wake Kairi from her slumber, because we obviously don't want her to be asleep the whole time. It could also be nod to Sora's current predicament if he should find himself put to sleep once again.
3. Chain of Memories 2 could be called Kingdom Hearts: Days Gone By, which is of course a little nod to 358/2 Days. If the objective of the game is to navigate through Roxas and Xion's memories in the hopes of finding a lead back to Sora, then instead of doing a rehash of the walk down memory lane which we got in Chain of Memories, maybe Roxas and Xion could instead follow the trail left behind by Sora's heart and memories. Maybe they discover that the reason no one can find Sora is because he's unintentionally warping from one new world to the next. It's possible that the reason Mickey, Donald, and Goofy have had no luck searching through worlds Sora had already been to is because he's going to totally new worlds either to find a way back home, or because he has no control over what's happening to him. For all we know, Sora is being held captive by a new evil, and he ends up leaving a trail behind in these new worlds believing his friends will eventually find him. Either that, or Sora's jumping from world to world to shake this new evil off his trail and avoid leading it back home. And because Roxas and Xion are linked to Sora, Namine can trace all of his memories of these events through their memories. The title would be a commentary on the days Sora spent away from everyone else, and Roxas and Xion learning about these days while tracing their connection to Sora.
Verum Rex obviously remains the same.

My current concern with the future of KH is Disney's placement. There's more than enough lore & substance to make an exclusive KH-content game now (especially after 0.2 birth by sleep). But it could cause issues with Disney if we limit their side of the content.
The worlds definitely need to feel more a part of the larger verse - like how KH 1 handled it; show us characters from other movies meeting & interacting with each other, characters leaving their world like beast and bring back Traverse Town. Without these elements, some of the worlds just end up feeling like a blockade for you reaching more plot content than a part of the story itself
What about Mickey, Donald and Goofy? They are also mentioned to be on a mission and a game with Mickey as the main character is a very interesting concept
I'd want a KH game based off of Ven and the Player Character from Union X
It would be like BBS where you go through a prologue playing as Ven, and then choose the character you want to play as. The main villain would be the Nobody and Heartless of the original PC, and the version of the PC you play as would be the Data version.
Ven's story focuses on fighting the Nobody in the real world as the Nobody slowly reminds Ven of his past as a Union Leader. Ven eventually overcomes the Nobody, with all of his past memories like the Nobody wanted.
Data PC focuses on stopping the Heartless from corrupting the Datascape going through a heavily altered version of the Union X story, where the Heartless corrupts everything before the Keyblade War begins. The DPC eventually sacrifices himself and his own light to purify the Datascape so that Ven can reboot it.
The Final Episode deals with the OPC coming back to life in the Realm of Darkness, and escaping with the help of Ven.
And as with every KH game, the Secret Episode/Secret Boss is the PC.
For Ven's version of the Secret Boss, the PC and Ven go to the Keyblade Graveyard and the PC has a PTSD episode, attacking Ven like the War is still going on, the cutscene you get from this is a CG version of the Keyblade War.
The PC's version of the Secret Boss is a corrupted DPC, filled with glitches and darkness, the cutscene you get from this is a CG cutscene of what the DPC went through after sacrificing himself, setting them up to be the next villain.
(The PC is customizable)
Kingdom Hearts: Verem Rex or versus Kingdom hearts 3
Kingdom Hearts: The world re: end with you.
What if...
BBS2 works as a recap of BBS and CoM. While the Wayfinder Trio finds info about the old Darkness that the MoM fought against which could give further explanation as to what Vanitus is.
DDD2 works as a recap of DDD and UX. Riku and Kairi learn more about world lines what happened to Sora.
CoM2 works as a recap of Days and Coded. I have no idea what plot element it could expand on but im sure it's there.
A fourth game staring Mickey, Donald, and Goofy which recaps KH1 and 2. Disney fun time.
Since Sora is the only one that has crossed paths with both Yozora and Ephemer, What if Yozora is a "version/clone/decendant" of Ephemer?
Personally I wanted all of these potential ideas of yours to be played all together. Similar to BBS, having multiple episodes, playable characters, ability to switch between characters freely on the fly (similar to FFXV during combat) and will take place during the one year gap between Kh3 and whenever Kh4 comes in.
Wayfinder Episode: You play as Terra, Ven and Aqua im9 the realm of darkness.
Twilight Episode: play as Roxas, Xion, Lea and maybe Isa during special events.
Destiny Episode: this episode will play like DDD here you'll have the choice to switch between Riku and Kairi via Main Menu or Save Point.
And the Famous Secret Episode with the playable character being King Mickey where you fight alongside Donald and Goofy to take on a super boss/potential new threat for kh4 in a new Disney world.
Any game that features Roxas and Xion is amazing to me.
I would like to see all of them, I would love to. But the main critism is that there are many side games and I don't know Square Enix will take this risk again. Nomura? Of course he would do that.

My preferred schedule for all this would be this:
2020: Dark Road (Union X Team)
2021: Verum Rex or Kairi Game (1st New Team) Cross Gen Game
2022: Union X Console Remake (2nd New Team) Cross Gen Game
2023: Dark Road Remake as an Expansion for the Union X Remake (Also 2nd New Team) Cross Gen Game
2024: Kingdom Hearts 4 (Osaka Team) Exclusive to Next Gen Ps5 and Xbox Series X
This way we would continue having a major Kingdom Hearts release every year and will give Osaka team 5 years from KH3's initial release to make Kingdom Hearts 4 for the ground up for next gen since Square Enix said they wont have any next gen exclusives until further down the line. Plus of course porting the games on PC and Switch in between all that would be super cool too.
Honestly all the ideas sounds pretty good but I think with the next title, I rather focus on Sora's dilemma. Maybe with Yozora as well.

Hey HMK ! I'm watching your videos since your first theories about BotW, but I had never played to a Kingdom Hearts game. I recently watched your videos about Yozora, as a huge fan of Final Fantasy Versus XIII (the game we didn't get) and I'm really hyped to learn more about the "Noctis that we didn't get" I hope Nomura will be able to develop the version of Noctis he wanted to in KH4 (I mean, the Noctis of FFXV isn't really what he had in mind)
I really wanted to thank you cause because your videos really made me want to discover the Kingdom Hearts games ! So I just bought "KH the story so far" and KH3, I finished KH1 and Chain of Memories and right now I'm going through KH2 (and I love it)

These are some good ideas for the future, while we wait for KH4, and I have a game idea in mind.
The name? Clash of Kings
The reason? One of the wishes of us all, that unfortunately Square didn't make it in KH3, was the clash between two "brothers", Mickey and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Thanks to the Epic Mickey series, we saw a potential story between these two (and Oswald had an incredible voice)
The plot? During the year Sora disappeared, in Disney Castle, Minnie discovers an ancient book that tells about the past of Disney Town (way before the era of Timeless River). Before she gets to talk to Mickey, the Castle is invaded by Maleficent, Pete and the Heartless. Mickey, Donald and Goofy defeat the enemy, but suddenly Oswald appears and clashes his Keyblade with Mickey's. Evenly matched, none win the fight and Oswald runs away with Maleficent and Pete. After a meeting with Yen Sid about the recent events, Mickey decides to go on an adventure with his two best friends: while they journeyed to every past world Sora visited (to find a clue about his whereabouts), Mickey wants to know why Oswald hates him so much. In the meantime, we get to see the life Oswald and Ortensia, his fall to the Dark World, the discovery of his Keyblade (a dark realm variant, to be specific), his encounter with Maleficent and Pete, where we see his plead for help and the price he was forced to pay.

Insane possibilities man but I doubt that they'll do a Verum Rex game but that would be crazy!!!!!!

(No I'm not joking)
Sora must compete a new Reaper Game to escape the Shibuya he was trapped in at the end of KH3
(Also restricting his abilities would be simple by linking them to the Pins per "the games" rules)
You don't just introduce that universe in DDD and then not fully follow up on it
Kingdom hearts IV worlds:
1. Treasure Planet
2. Emperor New’s Groove
3. Brave
4. Moana
5. Incredibles
6. Coco
7. Wreck-in-Ralph
8. Zootopia
9. Star Wars
That’s my theory 🤷🏾♂️
My theory is
Riku vs Isa
Lea and Isa vs Aced
Roxas and Xion vs Gula
Mickey, Donald, Goofy vs Invi
Kairi and Namine vs Ava
Terra, Ventus, Aqua vs Luxu
And finally most epic Sora vs Master Of Masters. Also Sora looses his powers like Charithy stated and the foretellers, Luxu, and M.O.M. do the keyblade ritual just like between Terra and Youth Riku in B.B.S. and then throughout whatever game, they are training Sora to regain his powers to somehow trick Sora into joining him and other trippy ideas that Namura can come up with.
He only lost the power of waking. He still has most of his abilities, given the Yozora boss battle. Sora still retains his power and strength just not the power of waking.
The first two ideas mentioned were what PodcastNow used and predicted. And I think that Birth By Sleep 2 May come next, but we’ll see...
Verum Rex HAS TO become its own Spin-Off! Square Enix could even add the note that it ties into the KH Universe on the backside of the physical game, or in the description on the Store Page for those who rather buy it digitally.
I could see Yozora as a final boss in DD2. This would take part when he watches Riku. This would be the connection to find Sora. But Riku is suppose to loose like Sora in DDD, which is why Riku can't remember anything after the KH3 secret ending.
And then Kairi be the hero like Riku is in DDD and save him.
It's heavily implied that my favorite game ever, The World Ends With You is going to be now part of KH lore as the first ever Square Enix world you get to visit. Sora wakes up in a nearly identical version of TWEWY Shibuya, Yozora says he had to "go through some trials" there to then go and save Sora, and Yozora also says that they're not in the real world. TWEWY's Shibuya is a dead version of the city, only accessible through dying. And the trials are the Reapers' Game. Hear me out for a game idea.
I know we have the Kingdom Hearts VR Experience, but what if we got a new VR KH game that is an actual entry not just a nice trip down memory lane.
It could simply be called Kingdom Hearts VR, which most people would assume just means Virtual Reality, but it actually has a double meaning.
This games true title would be Kingdom Hearts: Verum Rex.
That title on its own is pretty bad, but when simplified into VR for a VR game it works great.
This game would have to do something to do with Verum Rex of course, but why not go one step further.
In this game you play as Yozora, and it serves as his backstory.
Now I'm not a story writer, or gane designer so I can't make up too many details, but that is just the overall idea.
I'd probably want some sort of flat version for those of us can't play much VR due to motion sickness that VR brings in its current state(the flat version would still be in first person just not VR, like other games have done).
I wouldn't make this game super long, but I wouldn't want it to be extremely short either(maybe just 4-5 hours).
I also don't know what the gameplay would be like, but if it's done in a way where Yozora has lost some of his gear, it could be sort of like an FPS game using his crossbow/gun thing, and the occasional Mech.
It could also be done with a sword, but an FPS would probably work better even though it'd be weird for a Kingdom Hearts game.
Maybe we could remove the KH part of the title, and just call it Verum Rex(VR) 😅

KH4 has a lot riding on it so I don't mind waiting for it. We waited for KH3 so I'm sure we can wait for KH4.
I got a feeling the game that focuses on Roxas and Xion will be similar to KH Coded instead of CoM, with the two diving into their own memories with the help of Twilight Town gang and Namine in order to relive Sora's journey while discovering several secrets.
My biggest issue with yazora was how his attacks were pixelated and he used the mechs from verum rex. It would have been awesome to see his fighting style more realistic from what we saw in the verum rex trailer because it would emphasises he IS real in some world.
A console version of unchained x... I got a gut feeling like they're next step is to let us truly make a keyblade master. Then afterwards probably kh 4

A) become the new deuteroganist ala vegeta from dragon ball
nomura won't replace riku as deuterogonist. not unless yozora, nomura's "other 'son'", becomes a fan favorite maybe.
B) space out their appearances; tease their presence ala shadow from sonic the hedgehog
process of elimination
And with Nomura talking about the Remind title artwork being the groundwork for a future game, I feel like Kairi's gonna have the most focus this time around, so Riku and Kairi most important, although the 3rd person still remains a mystery, Ven, I believe, may also be a key factor, because he was in Sora's heart for a decade, and I think their search in the Realm of Darkness is gonna be a dead end anyway, so Ven may tag along with Riku and Kairi to find Sora. Like Chain of Memories was the start for Riku's arc, Remind's the start of Kairi's arc.

@@Dreq458 Yeah, true, aside from the Nameless Star, Namine was in the Final World, and maybe could take an advisory role for both Kairi and Riku, about the dangers they could be facing, Kairi, because she's still a newbie with the Keyblade, and Riku, despite his experience, could also end up in the same situation as Sora and may not be so lucky like he was in the Realm of Darkness. Maybe the price to pay for going to where Sora is could be even steeper than the price Sora paid for saving Kairi.
I like all these ideas, but I'm especially fond of the idea of any KH games that let us play as characters we haven't played before, or characters we haven't played as much.
I think that all these ideas are good and i would like for the Verium Rex game the most.
Why am I getting the feeling that the next Kingdom Hearts story is going to have a similar format to Assassin’s Creed?
Hear me out: With the assistance of Ienzo and company looking through Kairi’s Heart, and Namine looking through Lea’s, Riku learns about their training through their point of view. You play as Riku present day, but play as Kairi and Lea sifting through their memories leading up to the new Keyblade War. What if the two went on a mission as a part of their training, to unlock a certain power to keep the light from expiring? And that same key, is the key to finding and bringing back Sora?
If I had to pick one of your theorized games, though, it’s probably DDD2.
You forgot one team, the Team of Disney Castle thats are traveling in the Past Worlds to find a clue or a conection thet the Disney Characters have with Sora. Ok, this Plot will be completly Disney and i don't think will be a real alone game, BUT the travel of Mickey, Donald and Goofy can be splitled in the game that you spoken now! The ideas of these on this Journey can be connected with the other guardians travel, because ALL have a conection not only to Sora, but his Disney friends to. In Birth by Sleep 2 Terra, Aqua nad Ven, like you told, can be visited the DARK VERSION of Disney World, were the VILLAINS HAVE WIN! can be a fun idea and the Land of Departure's team can defeat the Disney fears and purify from darkness. In Chain of Memories 2 Roxas, Lea and Xion can make friends with Disney characters for first time, because in 358/2 Days have must coimplete therir missions under cover and mustn't were discover from abitants of Worlds, now can be the perfect occasion to make friends ad find a connection to Sora. Now my MUCH BIGGER HOPE and a GOLD OCCASION FOR DISNEY, in Dream Drop Distance 2 Kairi in her gameplay, could have how companions the DISNEY PRINCESS! Right, this game could have Kairi with the Disney Princess how Battle Companions (in Wrech it Ralph 2 we have the proof that thei can fight and have supernatural powers XD). With the excuse the Dream World, Nomura can re utilize the old worlds of Princess (or New, why Not?) and Kairi could help the Princess to fight therir Nightmares and battle after battle kairi can find from her conecton to Other Princess a clue to find Sora and at the end of ALL THESE GAMES, the Disney Characters arrive to Radian Garden with a Keyblade and together unlock the way to Sora's Heart! What do you think about it?

If they do Chain of Memories 2, hopefully it'll be like the first one where there was a completely different story going on at the same time. Like the main game could be Roxas and Xion, but the second/"dark" route could do with going through the memories of Lea and Isa. This way we could have story about from as round when we saw them in Birth by Sleep all the way up to when they became Nobodies in the Organization, to also get more info on Subject X. Could be some good kinds redemption arc for the 2 and maybe reveal something wild like through their interactions with Subject X both became Keyblade wielders before they became Nobodies and just forgot. Like reason Lea could just summon a Keyblade is that he's already done it before and just forgot until he was a complete Somebody. Lea and Isa being able to use a Keyblade would add more reason for why they were brought into the Organization and how Saïx was so high in command. Just a thought
Final Fantasy XV had the switching character mechanic too, but only during combat. And you had to unlock it, which isn't hard to do.
I would love to see all of them playable again someday regardless of what's to come, and I would love to get a chance to play as Yozora. I know we only have one game inbetween but I would legit love to see all of these in some form, maybe one game dealing with everyone's part in the dark year?

This is totally random but in the next Kingdom Hearts entry there must be a major death or loss. I honestly believed that Riku was going to “die”. Not that I wanted him to go because he’s my favorite KH character, but there was no major loss other than Sora disappearing into the void

Will center on Mickey, Donald and Goofy's travels across every single Disney world Sora had ever visited. Disney Town will be the hub world, and we will additionally be traversing to Wonderland, Olympus, Agrabah, Land of Dragons, Beast's Castle, Dwarf Woodlands, Castle of Dreams, Enchanted Dominion, Toy Box, Kingdom of Corona, Arendelle, and Game Central Station. Final world will be Daybreak Town.
Kingdom Hearts: Reconnection
Will consist of three interchangeable and interconnected storylines before converging into the final world. Each scenario will play out the same way as your three main stories, only each scenario will be incredibly brief with only about four worlds apiece. Could definitely see a scenario where the main Disney IP's represented here will consist of older, unused properties like Dumbo, The Jungle Book, Mary Poppins, and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow to name a few. Riku's and Kairi's starting location will be Radiant Garden; Aqua's would be the Realm of Darkness; and Roxas' would be Twilight Town. Final world will be Shibuya.
Kingdom Hearts: Verum Rex
The Birth by Sleep of the next trifecta of Kingdom Hearts games. Unlike the previous Kingdom Hearts games, Verum Rex's worlds will focus more on the recently acquired IP's like Star Wars and Marvel, and every world will be brand new. Final Fantasy could also potentially play a much bigger role than it ever had before (though not to the extent of a playable world like, say, Midgar). Could definitely imagine the Disney worlds here being based more on the live action remakes rather than the animated films due to Verum Rex's emphasis on realism. Shibuya will be the hub world, and Scala ad Caelum will be the final world.
This isn’t Kingdom Hearts related, but I live in NY where the CoronaVirus is gaining serious traction. Pray for us. We’re worried and scared. I had a job interview cancelled today because of it.
I like those video game ideas and I hope along with Dark Road and others games, Verum Rex could be one of these I would look forward to. Even see Yozora's friends as party members like Donald and Goofy.
I just want more knowledge on some of the Organization 13 members. I want more info on larxene, Demyx, Marluxia, and Luxord. With Luxord, we got a small glimpse of his character in remind, and I just want more! Xehanort also mentioned the “Keyblade destiny” that sleeps within them, and I know that probably meant the 13 No Name Keyblades that Xehanort summons are the end of KH3, but I want to see them wield their own keyblades.

Another thing to add in bss2 would be more lore about Darkness since we’re all HEAVILY theorizing that he’s connected to Ventus. And if that’s the case we could see Vanitas again probably
