- It seems thanks to a translation of the Axel/Lea Character File from Kingdom Hearts Character Files that the Mysterious Subject X is confirmed to be Skuld from Union X, but there may be MORE to this revelation leading up to Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind!

Has it FINALLY been confirmed that Skuld is indeed SUBJECT X, and with the memories of Lea / Axel can this lead to a haunting thought that existed throughout Kingdom Hearts? Lets get past 1000 Likes!
What if our player character stay behind as well.
I was thinking and I may have over thought. But why is xahanort wearing a goat head mask? I can't find out why he chooses that form. I also realized why the whole group from that union cross game gives me odd vibes. There is a religious group in real life that meet in secret that wear masks. Though the group im thinking of is a bit darker by normally wearing black (hmmmm more rabit hole theories springing about in my mind now) they kinda carry the same vibe. Satanists. Look them up. Im an extreamly open Christian but to be honest, as soon as I saw xahanort sport that goat head I knew religion most definitly is in kingdom hearts even thou its not stated that it is. Maybe to figure out some of the mysteries we need to see what parallels between religious beliefs and certain aspects of kingdom hearts.
Off topic; but I really want to have the liveaction melificent involved in the next kingdom hearts and maybe even see sora in her world sporting wings like her and seeing maleficent was never the villain we thought her to be. She is honestly one of the few Disney characters not confined to her own world and effects the core kh story line.
It also adds to why Isa thought Axel was replacing him and Skuld with Rosas and Xion,
HMK you have the right idea about why xion is seen with black hair by Axel and Roxas but its half right.
You got to remember why Roxas looks like Ventus to really get the full secret here.
Xion is a mix of two important memories. One belongs to sora and the other to Ventus.
sora's memory of kairi and ventus memories of skald.
If kingdom hearts as a whole has taught us anything its that hearts contain memories and that those memories can bring back what we once thought was lost forever.

9:20 well it’s true that Roxas sees Xion mostly as Kairi because he’s a part of Sora, but remember he’s also a part of Ventus. Ventus knew Skuld so that could be why Roxas sees Xion with black hair instead of red.
To further your point Roxas has Ven’s sleeping heart which also affected Axel so maybe that’s why they both saw the same person in Xion
With this info, I finally figured it out. Skuld is asleep in the data version of twilight town's chamber of awakening. That's where ansem hid her. It's also the only place she could be. In kingdom hearts 2, that area was also locked off and some kind of force prevented us from entering that location. So it's lore-friendly.

Ansem didnt hid her or take her out of her cell, it was Braig/Xigbar/Luxu. Luxu took her cause he knew who she was
And we dont know if she is asleep. From secret report 1, which she wrote, it seems that she is awake and living her life in some way. We just dont know where though

Skuld has a star earring. Skuld represents the stars, Isa represents the moon, and Lea represents the sun. The sun, the moon, and the stars.
That is soo cool like how ven aqua and terra are wind, water and earth.
As others have stated, the Skuld-Xion thing might not be too big a stretch if the connection is via Ventus and not Axel/Lea. Xion's appearence to Axel is likely from his own memories, but Roxas is connected to Sora who is connected to Ventus, thus the chain of memories could cause Roxas to see Xion with black hair, mixing Sora's memories with Ventus' memories.
Timeline may not 100% fit for Axel, but for Roxas? The connections are so deep that it is indeed possible.
Now that Lauriam and Elrena are back to being somebodies, and Ventus is awake, I really want the dandelions to reunite, or at least to remember eachother (bc it looks like Ven still doesn't know a lot about his past); I'm pretty confident Ephimer died and didn't make it to the future, and of course Strelletzia is dead, but idk anything about Brain, tho I believe he's related somehow to Eraqus; oh yea, it's all coming together

There's one thing that still bothers me tho. If eraqus is related to brain, then why does he fear ven so much? Wouldn't his ancestors have passed on the knowledge of the five union leaders in some way? Is that why he fears ven and he has the suspicion of ven's true power/nature?
Thought Ephemer was a heartless that was dark inferno oddly given an X with DLC

Kevin Dimas brain isn’t part of the first line of union leaders. The first line is the lost masters. I doubt that brain and eraqus are related, unless it’s a translation error or something like that.
This is a stretch of a stretch to the reason behind Xion's black hair, but you can also give some fault to Ventus for knowing Skuld lol.

Beyond Solace #9406 you know… Skuld was actually a genuine friend to Ventus, so it makes sense Roxas may have ties to her. He’s a byproduct of Ven and Sora, so his vision of Xion could be a byproduct of Kairi and Skuld.
And Kanemaki is a HUGE point. He practically wrote the entire backstory to Vanitas as a character and his development from birth to forging the X-Blade. Not only does Vanitas also has black hair, it would make sense that while writing Days and onward they took special care to craft any characters tied directly to Roxas in a way that reflects Ven, not just Sora.

I don’t feel like the Xion - Skuld connection is that much of a stretch. I mean, obviously Roxas has pretty strong ties to Ventus. It could very well be that his perception of Xion was shaped by Sora’s memories of Kairi, and Ventus’s lost memories of Skuld.
Roxas doesnt have a very strong connection to Ventus anymore than he has a bet strong connection to Kairi, they just look like each other

The xion-skuld thing was always in my theories, I won't doubt, if it's true that skuld is subject X, then we can confirm that brain was left behind and he is the one who luxu gave the keyblade, however what's the point of capturing skuld? Maybe cuz someone from the past didnt make to future, since it needs someone to remember, but who? What's the point of make she remember? To bring who back? Maybe darkness?
I think this all is setting up the game/story for the Twilight Town crew. I believe you called it "Chain of Memories 2."
4 of our characters would have some connection with Skuld. Roxas looks like Ven, Isa and Lea visited her in Radiant Garden, and Xion (based on your speculation) has black hair because of her. What if Namine is able to find some of Ven's old memories of Skuld in Xion or Roxas while searching for Sora? This could cause conflict between the group because Isa would most likely lose focus on finding Sora, and instead become obsessed with what their memories reveal about Skuld.
Perhaps this game could lead them to some version of Skuld who mistakes Roxas for Ven.
I mean, considering g that Isa would only care to look for Sora because of Lea, I dont think him wanting to obsessed over a girl hes been obsessed with for 10+ years is anything detrimental

Man imagine a game with Lea and Isa, something called Kingdom Hearts Fated X
It would look beautiful in kingdom shader, it would be a good mix with less combat and isas combat and their transitions with their weapons and the relationship with each other along with snooping and discovering certain things while throughout their journey they could be journaling, going on missions in secret for the peak of curiosity and for xehanort. It could even show how lea and isa got their scars. They could have mini games within the confines of radiant garden, doing things for the townsfolk, and possible disney characters like " uncle Scrooge" and possibly depending on how it all aligns, we could see small story segments from other games crossing over while "fated x" Carrie's on with its story. This would honestly be such a badass came I can envision it now. HMK PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a video on this, I will be forever grateful if you do my guy! Your.theories would make this 10000000000000x better and who knows maybe square might listen to your video and get inspired! Omg that would be amazing. I feel the game would be really amazing almost like a mix between 3, 358/2 days, BBS and aquas journey. I think it would be absolutely incredible!

So he's missing three, ven and ephemer. Vens with the crew and ephemer is most likely hiding himself because he knows someone. And brain can possibly be brought back from the past
Three hearts inside of Sora's ventus, roxas, so I think third heart is ephumer's heart because in the keyblade graveyard he appeared and only Sora saw him and he said need some help so that could explain where ephumer is

One thing im confused about is: if the daybreak crew and maleficent was trapped in a data world how were they able to travel to a real world in the future/different world-line.

Terra definitely damaged his eye when they fought at Radiant Garden. Shot a dark projectile at him.
This was an interesting theory, I personally pretty much figured that Skuld would be the 'subject x' refered in the reports. If she was released when Lea and Isa was still young, then my theory is that Skuld is probably Sora's mother maybe?
We never saw her face at all in KH1 and has never been referenced again. With her memories lost it could be possible when Destiny island was lost to the heartless, it could be possible that her memories returned with her and realizes what has happened. Leading her to try to find Sora.
We saw Kairi's Grandmother in KH1 and seemed to have alot of knowledge about the light being in the hearts of children. My theory with the grandmother is that she could be Ava as she never went along with Luxu's plans and went her own route, which could mean she didn't follow through with the whole time travel process and not be brought back like the other Fortellers.
Hmm alot is going on with this series and I am loving the theories that pops up now and then. We may have to wait and see what will the next installment to the series will provide. :D
I LOVE the idea of her being Sora's Mother! I would be happy if this is true. But my brain is doing a thousand loops, like we all do when it comes to theories. I can't help but share what I'm picking up. Lea and Isa would have had to be old enough, and clever enough, to infiltrate the castle on multiple occasions (we do see them getting kicked out once though lmao). If she escaped in Birth By Sleep times while they were teens, Sora was already 4 or 5 years old, and she was only about 15. I could be wrong though. What if she's older than we think, and had time to get off world, meet Sora's Dad, etc? With this game's lore, anything can happen.
@@Zoe-ri1bh You do bring up a good point. Though we do not know exactly how long Skuld was 'Subject X' for. She could of been there for several years before Isa and Lea found her and sneaked in to visit her. For all we know she disappeared probably on the day they were kicked out, or before that.
I imagine Isa and Lea being young and dumb when they first sneaked inside the castle found her and made some promise to find a way to free her. They trained hard to get their bodies in shape so that way it would be alittle smoother sneaking in and when they did she was gone and had a bunch of questions.
But since we do not have that answer at the moment all we can to is theorize and speculate.

Hey i was doing some research in scala yesterday and found an interesting thing out apparently all the clocks in scala stopped at 10:00
I even came up with a trio name for the 3 of them...The Celestial Trio, because Lea is represented by The Sun, Isa by The Moon, and Skuld by Stars. I think it fits.
I think it would be cool if Xion had a bigger role. Maybe at one point in Kingdom Hearts 4, Lea will remember Skuld and start a chain reaction.
What if subject X means subject (X)ion. That’s why Black hair. Etc. Xion could have been made. With skuld in mind.
The Xion thing is a real stretch since she got her identity before she even met Axel. The whole point of Xion having black hair was just so that she'd be more distinct from Kairi since they have the same face, but I'd buy it if they said Ven's memories had something to do with it

Didn't try to mess with us and say "the identity of subject X, is in fact, none other than... Zack!"
Also remember, while not innately Ventus, Roxas is influenced but his heart that resides in Sora, so maybe the black hair also comes from the aspects of Ventus's lost memories that recalled Skulld, as in the last NA cut scene from union cross they do appear to be a little chummy, there by allowing for Skulld's influence prior to Axel's involvement.
Skuld is actually hidden inside Olette. Being so, Hayner would be Ephemer (handsome guy) and Brain, Pence (computing guy). The trio came from the data world where the Dandelions were and put into Twilight Town in the future.
Kairi is obviously linked to Skuld in some ways. I can't quite put it in words well but it all happened when Kairi lost her memories and left Radient Garden. I believe Skuld is with her in a way.
What do you think if there was game where Isa(saïx) & Lea (Axel) continue their search for subject X with Roxas and Xion. That could bring Skuld back into the fold. Maybe they find her early on and then the game is about helping her regain her memories and finding out what happened to Daybreak Town. Maybe we could find the digital Daybreak Town somewhere, and get a 3d version of it we can run around in, and through that and Skuld we can get the current KH team up to speed with the Foretellers and Master of Masters.

@@BabyGirlTiny Well 1) Roxas & Xion would go with Lea because he asked them and they're friend. 2) We want them to because we know how important it is through meta. This is the reason Lea and Isa joined the organization so of course they would want to still look for her.
I think Ephemer may have managed to use the ark along with ven, lauriam, elrena, and skuld, but I think something is going to happen to his ark during the trip that ends up placing him in limbo, hence why when we see him in KH3, he appears as a spirit of sorts, or his soul, to Sora to help him. And whatever this limbo state is, it results in Ephemer losing his heart and creates the Dark Inferno secret boss, the red one. That’s my guess anyways
Dunno how big this is, but the Secret Reports (or, well, Luxu) specifically state that the "Five" were sent to a different worldline. Unless this report is somehow retconned, I don't buy the theory that Brain stayed behind. Yes, he unmistakably looks like Eraqus and thus he likely was the one who got the No Name Keyblade, but remember: there are six pods, one of them is just broken. I'm leaning more towards what Damo said in that Brain tried to repair this pod with disastrous consequences so all of them could escape and that's why Skuld doesn't retain her memories. And it would fit what Luxu said about passing down his Keyblade to one of the Five right before they were sent to the other worldline. I mean, what? Not even Brain armed with No Name Keyblade can't somehow avert the Break? Maybe. But at this point, it seems more like Daybreak Town was abandoned and that's what really caused the downfall. Maybe it happened earlier than we realize if everyone is stuck in the data Daybreak Town and the real one has remained empty ever since the Keyblade War. As for Scala, maybe that's simply where Brain ended up and rebuilt the world. After all, with six pods, all five Union Leaders and Elrena can escape the doomed reality. Now that's *another* can of worms and I can't think of any reason Elrena would not only agree but be allowed to be sent into the future, but it is Kingdom Hearts: I'm sure we'll get some bullshit excuse for that too.
That Skuld-Xion thing is a bit of a stretch, honestly.

honestly it might not be. like subject x was being experimented on for memory stuff right? and xion was basically made to hold memories. it made me start thinking what if the results of the experiments done on subject x were used as the foundation in the process of making xion?
I could see them saying that Xion’s model had influence from the data they collected on “the girl”. That’s the only way i can see it making sense

Brain had to stay behind. I mean there's the stuff you stated so far, Eraqus is a 'blueblood' from a line of masters. Brain looks like Eraqus and they chose to make that fact a sort of big reveal as he hid his face until that point. More than that though, we know for a fact one of the union leaders were bequeathed the no name and passed it down where Eraqus and Xehanort's master had it hanging up on the wall to assumedly eventually pass it to Xehanort.
So whoever stayed behind to start this line of Keyblade weilders had to have No Name or else it wouldn't be there, and we know for a fact it was one of the new Union leaders that it was passed to. With Brain's big reveal being that he looks like Eraqus, and Ventus, Lauriam, and now Skuld pretty much proven to not have stayed behind, we either have Ephemer or Brain and I mean the choice is obvious.
As for Ephemer though, I sort of imagined he was just dead and a spirit calling the other dead Keyblade wielders in the Graveyard to help Sora. I don't think he made it to the future in some weird different way from the rest. I think he may have stayed behind too.

Only thing that doesn't add up is when Xion gets the hair, doesn't it happen before meeting Axel after he comes back from Castle Oblivion? Because everyone saw her as a member whose face was already covered.

I had always figured that Xion's hair coloring was because of Ventus' connection to Vanitas through Roxas. Where Roxas takes directly after Ven's appearance, some of Vanitas' cosmetic attributes subconsciously translated onto Xion.

Also, there's a very probably theory that Brain is Eraqus' ancestor. Their hairstyles are very similar.
When axel saw Xion's face for the first time he thought of Namine and they have some kind of connection not Skuld.
So lemme get this straight, Ventus knows Skuld, and became friends with Lea/ Axel, who’s been seeking Skuld for ages and is friends with Roxas, who Ventus is his blueprints...

My gut has always told me it is Skuld. No one can convince me otherwise. I WANT THAT TRIO!
Remember, Ava’s hair color is never revealed, and she could have lost her mask and Foreteller robes if she jumped through time. Also, why would Luxu just save any old Dandelion? I can only imagine him doing that for one of his lifelong companions. Ava fits that bill.

If this is true, i want to know why "a man with an eyepatch(luxu)" would come to take her away. Why would luxu care about her? Ava could also have black hair....havent seen her without the mask. And luxu would have reason to get her out of that cell. Also, luxu seems suprised when ava doesnt show up. "Huh....guess ava didnt make it after all", sounds like he expected her to be there. As if he saw her and knew she was around, but still didnt show up. He doesnt even question her absence. What if skuld IS AVA!!!
To back this up. I cant fond a single scene of ava and skuld together. Talking or in the same room/scene together. Every other character has a scene where theyre talking to ava. If there is a scene with the 2 od them, please share!!!
i support this theory way more! "One day, a man came to take me from the prison. I could not see him for the darkness, save that he wore an eyepatch" who is xigbar aka luxu. Tetsuya leaves many big hints for things that will eventually be revealed to us as always. No doubt these apparent hints show that its Ava..now whether ava is playing as skuld thats yet to be revealed. Knowing what color hair ava has under her mask would be a dead giveaway
@@SeanS96 the only piece of evidence i have against this theory of "ava being skuld", is that when ava attacked luxu and rang the bell to start the war, skuld was in town talking to Gula about the lost page. So unless the timing of events is off, or ava sent someone else disguised as herself to talk to luxu, this proves it impossible....HOWEVER, luxus secret report mentions "an imposter withing the 5", doesnt explain if he means the 5 union leader or 5 foretellers. It could very well mean the person who attacked luxu and rang the bell wasnt ava. But an imposter, and luxu let himself be found so he could kill the Ava imposter who was "a virus in the program the master so carefully wrote".
I think maybe Roxas sees Xion with Skuld's black hair because of Ventus's sleeping heart inside of him, just a thought!

I do like the idea of brain staying in the past because for the ark to work you need someone in the future to remember you. So brain staying he could pass on there memories to his children and they keep passing it on so when the time comes for them to travel to the future it will work
I just remembered that in kh2 finale mix when you go to the pod room there is a pod that says it has already been used but it’s not the one that Sora, Donald, or Goofy were in so maybe Skuld was in there at some point.
Couldn't technically Roxas perceive Xions hair as black also because of Skuld, but through a different connection?
Is it perhaps possible that Ventus' memories of Skuld from the time of KHUx influenced this?
Eh, probably too much of a stretch. I don't think the bond between Skuld and Ventus is tight enough for that to be a possibility... At least not yet.

What if Xion´s Black Hair doesn´t come from Axel´s strongest memories but from Ventus´ Memories of Skuld, since Ventus´ heart is already in Sora´s at that point. Or does that not work?

I wonder if Skuld was displaced by Maleficent's invasion to Twilight Town where she made, or at least design, the old Mansion and/or lived there. She might of made the basement lab to developed the memory pods in order to regain her own. Just an idea, just because we know Xigbar let her out during the final year of Ansem the Wise's reign before KH I. That gives about 8 years of time for the mansion to be built, used as a laboratory, and then eventually destroyed. And I wonder if Twilight Town was where Marluxia and Elrena were recruited into Org. XIII, because there was three memory pods that were discovered beside Sora and her gang's. Hmm...

Subject x could be ava if she has black hair or casted off her original form like luxu did because she wasn't in the keyblade graveyard at the end of kingdom hearts 3 when luxu reclaim his keyblade and called the other foretellers and it could be skulld because in Kingdom hearts 3 it did show ephimer so he could have been a hint towards skulld or something this is just a guess

They don't look similar at all.
When Brain takes his hat off.....you see he looks more like Eraqus. Which fits in with him being Eraqus' ancestor (because it's been confirmed that Eraqus descended from an ancient Keyblade wielder who was alive during the Keyblade War).

Heres a fun thought i had What if we do get Skuld revealed in KH4 but we also get the reveal of a long forgotten character Sora's mother. What if Skuld is Sora's mother not saying whatsoever its true but its a hilarious thought if we finally get to see Sora's mom and she turns out to be Skuld
As for the argument of it being impossible due to timing i mean it has been stated that each world has their own passage of time.

I think skuld is in the world that never was. Also for ephamare I think I spelled right any way I believe he stayed in the past and is dead in the current timeline (bbs-kh3) because we do see what looks like to be a spirit when he asked Sora if he needs some help. And I do believe brain is the ancestor of Eraqus. Also the thing about luxord and deymx. I don’t believe those two are from verum rex.
As far as going back to Skuld I believe she will be first introduced to group such as Riku Aqua ventus etc ( Sora is currently fighting Yozora aka the real Noctis) and I think she will be the one single clue on finding Sora and explaining the fortellers and mom if she gets her memories back
I wonder if luariam/marluxia joining O13 had something to do with subject X. Maybe he went searching for the dandelions & its still not said why he turned on xemnas in CoM.

i started reading again the secret reports and i truly believe Subject X is Skuld due to the following reasons:
1.we know that 3 of the Dandelions leaders are in the present time or at least somewhat alive or showing and those would be Lauriam, Ventus and up to certain point Ephemer.
2. secret report number 1 is a POV of subject x and reads the following: I had no answer to offer them. Four friends, and a key...that is the sum total of my memory. I could not even recall my name. I was simply called "X" there. My only solace was the time I spent talking with the two boys
the four friends subject X mentions must be the Dandelions. they must have been able to scape the virus-infected worldline using the Lifeboat and travelled to the future. that is why Ventus doesnt remember his past. just like Subject X.
