I started playing Blood this season, I got upto 3300 and I recently just called it quits for the season. Doing 26's and surviving some pulls has been extremely difficult such as the first hallway pull in Throne that other tanks do with ease. I have seen this same story with other high blood players swapping to ppal or vdh. We severally lack the tools to help our group that is just so necessary this season and causing much frustration for many of us.
Im also at the 26 range and saying other tanks do it with ease is a bot exegurated. Also u take the notorious worst pull of the season for bdk. Bdk is far behind in Tott and Eb sadly

I absolutely love blood DK but I’ve got a lot of time put into playing the class yeah it def needs some tweaks but those big pulls with abom limb and dancing rune weapon are an absolute blast
Red Thirst, in the bottom-right corner of the tree. A normal build will take one point, a VB build will spend two points in it and take Umbilicus Eternus as well to maximize the impact of every VB cast.
Loved DK since it released in wrath and been my main since since then, my only real problem is that they need to make the node that has purgatory a choice node with the other choice being enhanced will of the necropolis making the 35% DR always there.
I've gotten to a point where I feel like I'm at least decent up to 20s on all the tanks except Blood DK. There's something about it that constantly feels stiff and just straight up unenjoyable personally. I'm not sure whether it's how heart strike works with death and decay or if it's something else like marrowrend just not feeling so good. I didn't mind it with the season 2 tier set but I ended up playing Brewmaster for that season regardless. I always liked the idea of focusing more on things like an AOE version of Blooddrinker and blood worms but I know that's not everybody's playstyle. I want to like the spec but it feels god awful to play
Looks like you have a macro on most of your abilities, can i ask what you are macroing with them? Tanking up to 20's but want to get into higher keys, and i seem very squishy, Wondered if there is some trick that i am missing for better survivability
What do you think of the Wowhead Look Back for Blood DKs? It seems like you each having very different, but not contradictory, perspectives. Honestly I'd love to listen to you two discuss it all, but understand that might be hard to arrange.
easy fix, Bone Storm needs to become viable to be the best m+ tank ;) They won't do it because it does insane dmg and insane healing if they made it viable.
Bringing back Swarming Mist from Shadowlands would be a serious boost. Being able to quickly generate 100 RP with one Rune and then burn that RP with Bonestorm would rule.
I think Blood DK is balanced for raids and as Blizz have been raid centric for every year theyve been operating WoW this isnt a surprise. If you are raid balanced everything is fine and stfu. In raids I also see Blood DKs doing the healing of a good healer which is a bit broken - swap some heals for more mitigation .
@@WoWatNight I have one of each and bounce around when I get bored but prefer bear or pally playstyle. I just find DK very mechanical and doesn't flow or feel as fun as other tanks....and your biggest party trick is AMS or Death Grip .....I would be great to see Warrior be the meta one day as that poor kid needs some love

You may want to listen again because you're responding to something that was never said. Dancing Rune Weapon is not the skill he was discussing. He said Empower Rune Weapon and Abomination Limb have the same cooldown. He also said ERW is not on the GCD, so people macro it together with Abom Limb.

Yeah, it's a really good change of pace to just focus on your own survival-and have a massive amount of control over it!

Yup! It's really fun and really strong until you hit the point where it's not, and then it just immediately comes to a crashing halt.

That's actually a Details Plugin that shows what skill you've used most recently. It's in the Broadcaster Tools section.

Unfortunately, no. The damage is not worth the opportunity cost of losing several Death Strikes and other talents you could run instead.

Mostly just alt-mod macros to fit in all the abilities this class has! No real trick, it just helps with action bar space.
I like DK but as soon i start playing they get nerfed so i just play my Pala
All the defensives of Pally make it fun though

Most classes need adjustments, but we may never see them.

Dancing Rune Weapon is not the skill he was discussing. He said Empower Rune Weapon and Abomination Limb have the same cooldown. He also said ERW is not on the GCD, so people macro it together with Abom Limb.
